Rex is awesome!!! I needed a safety inspection on my motor home and they were fully booked. Rex told me to come in before they opened and he did it then for me! He was very thorough and great to work with! Best costumer service I’ve had from a diesel shop anywhere! He is a hero and saved our vacation!

Class A Motorhome had an overheating issue, called and Spoke with owner Darren. He said they would work us in so we were towed there. Three long time diesel mechanics , Darren, Doug, and Rex collaborated and shared their knowledge to solve our problem. It took longer than we had hoped for ( they are very busy and popular) so they allowed us to stay in our coach during the repairs, allowed us to plug in, and generally made our bad situation much better! Excellent service, quality work and fair pricing! I highly recommend them.

Professional, courteous and very knowledgeable in the field of Diesel mechanics and repairs. They are backlogged for a reason! Because they stand by there word and products they sell. The girls in the office are very kind and professional in there job description. Doug and Darren the owners are "hands on mechanics" with vast knowledge of all aspects of Diesel repair. Call them 1st before others as I found some local mobile mechanics don't keep there word on appointments and or requests of information of services rendered. Southwest Diesel Service is the best in St George UT. Thank you for keeping us on the road.

Super honest. Did not replace batters that did not need to be replaced even when I told him he could. They were super down to earth. I would say if your looking for an Honest diesel shop this would be a place to go!

Dropped my truck off 9 months ago with a VATS(vehicle anti theft System) code. The truck ran fine when I brought it home and had a dead battery in the morning. Jumped it and it never started again. Took it to the dealer and they said my 40000 mile injectors were bad. Took it to SWD and was told I had bent push tubes. We decided to put a junk yard motor in it and I was quoted $4800 installed. I said sure. Do it. The next day they asked if they could repair the motor. I said sure, as long as it's not over $4800. For months I would call to see what was up and got a different story every time. At one point they asked if they could have more money because there were other problems. I ok'ed $7800, for the repair of a $9000 truck. More stories (and lies). Heads were warped. Waiting on the machine shop. It's back together and It doesn't run right. It needs injectors. It needs a cp3 pump. Now it won't stsrt.they admitted they ran it on ether. They said they took it to the dealership because it wouldn't run. Dealership told them it was a computer issue, which I did believe based on the codes I pulled from day one. Months and months went on. I called every two weeks They said the dealer had it for 2 months. Finally, I asked if I could just have the truck back the way it was. If it was at the dealer and wouldn't run, it would at least be able to be sold as a non running truck.I picked the truck up on Wednesday Dec 23rd after dropping it off on Mar 21st. They were very helpfull loading it up. I pulled the truck back home to Vegas and pop the hood to take a look. I was told that the intake parts were in a box in the bed, but what I saw was unbelievable. They decided they wanted their parts, so they destroyed the engine bay pulling them out. It looks like the truck was the victim of a pick-apart lot. They threw the fuel system inside the cab, which now has diesel everywhere. They tore up the radiator, cut off fuel lines an inch from the clamp, wires were ripped out, every computer was removed, firewall insulation ripped up, rocker arms and push rods thrown in a box and a huge bag of bolts. They said nothing about removing parts. I thought they would charge me for the parts they installed. I was willing to pay for the parts. I understand this was a bad deal for them, but it was their decision to try and repair engine as opposed to replacing it. I just wanted to replace the motor and they wanted to make some extra money by repairing it, which they clearly were not capable of doing.I only hope someone else will be spared the experience I've just had with Southwest Diesel Service.

Darren and Rex are great! We broke down in our motorhome over 800 miles away from home. They were prompt, knowledgable, and got a tremendous job done in a short amount of time. Darren had a great sense of humor, funny guy! They kept our MH clean as well! Huge plus. Their receptionists we're easy to work with.
