Fantastic service. On time and they explain what they are doing and what went wrong. Very honest and they stand behind their work. I use them for all my home appliances and have for 5 years now. We get one of two technicians and they always text us to let us know they are on the way and remember us.

After four visits from Sears Home Services, we are hopeful that our dryer is finally repaired since the last technician finally replaced a part. The technician was friendly and respectful. Unfortunately, in order to replace the defective part, we were quoted nearly $300 which was mostly for labor. However, if we committed to a one-year contract for $600, the cost would be $149. We felt compelled to pay for the annual contract because the $300 was outrageous for a one-time repair. We felt coerced into purchasing the annual service. It wasn't the technician's fault. He was just quoting the company's policy. We feel this is a questionable practice that Sears gets away and needs to be looked into.

Ryan, a very nice gentleman from Color Country Appliance, Toquerville, UT, was sent by Sears to repair my Kenmore (LG) top loading washer that kept getting off balance. It was so bad I couldn't even wash one set of twin sized sheets without re-balancing them 4 times.Sears previously sent a Sears repairman a month prior but he did not solve the problems I was having - he never even turned my machine on.Ryan was very thorough. He asked questions about the problems I was having, and he listened well to my answers. He then found the culprits and took care of things!Good Job Ryan & Thank You Again!

I was without my LG bottom-freezer refrigerator (which was only 3 1/2 years old) for over 2 weeks waiting for a new compressor. The local repair service told me the compressor was on backorder from their distributor. After numerous calls with the local repairman and Sears for 2 weeks, the compressor finally arrived at my door. I since have had several people selling or servicing LG major appliances tell me that malfunctioning compressors are commonplace with LG major appliances. I will certainly not buy another from LG again.

Repair is not the same thing as working or looking at it. My refrigerator (22 months in service) stopped working on the third of November. When my dishwasher stops working, I expect it to get fixed soon, two weeks would be stretching the idea of "good service" my clothes washer 1 week would certainly be a limit on good service. My range 3 or 4 days. My refrigerator anything over 1 or 2 days fails as good service. Being told 1 week before someone can look at it? Then told the parts will take a couple more weeks? Then when the parts do come in the work doesn't repair the fridge. Call again another week? Really? Only to repeat the cycle.Sears Home Service has failed in every way they could to provide the service I paid for.

Total Failure of Service. Less that 2 year old refrigerator does not cool any more. No error codes, just is not cold. We have been waiting for 10 weeks now to get a service tech to just look at it. Sears has now canceled 4 appointments with no reason given for the cancellation. That is 4 half days off work and I still have not had a tech look at it. Last cancellation was on May 1st and they want to reschedule for May 29th. I would think that ours would be given a bit of priority since it has been broken for so long, but maybe there are those waiting longer, or they just don't care. I don't know why a company would delay this so long. This is a total failure in my book. We may just go buy another but it certainly will not be a Sears brand. We will be telling all our associations not to buy Sears brands. I see this as a death spiral for a company that used to be at the top in quality and service.

My "one star" review is based on my experience with the call center--after 20 minutes of woman reading off of a canned script, I finally cancelled! She wouldn't answer ANY of my questions directly, but kept hopping from one canned script to another canned script. I had to keep asking her to stop and listen to me, but all she would do is overtalk me with her canned script. After 20 minutes, I told her to cancel my appointment. This was the WORST experience I have EVER had with any call center. TERRIBLE! Don't waste your time--call a local repairman, which is all they would have done anyway...

The technician was awesome! He Gets 5 stars. He was in and out in 20 minutes and even had the part we needed, and found us a coupon to help with the costs. (Because of the season and it wasa blessing because we're rebuilding our savings).I only por the stars because the call center left much to desired. they called me the day before they were originally supposed to arrive which was a week before the 19th and they said someone would be there on the 12th because I had called them almost a week before that they did not look to see if someone was available that day just if they had the open slot.I had to wait an extra week because they didn't bother to look or even check on my visitation order until the day that they were supposed to show up. So I got pushed back even farther because they didn't check to see if they had somebody scheduled to fix it on the original date.
