I'll never buy an appliance again from Lowes. Terrible customer service. They have a 2 day return policy. If it breaks on day 3, you have to go through the manufacturer and wait weeks for repair or replacement. What happened to good service. I'm buying my appliances through Costco from now on.
Anything else I'm good with Lowes, but this experience really makes me never want to shop there again. I'll see.

If you need to build something, Lowe's will most likely have what you need. Lots of building materials and items to help you check things off your honey-do list.
Update: I tried the online order with pickup at the store option today... It was truly a great experience. I wouldn't know where to find the items I needed, but it didn't matter because they had them pulled aside when I got there.

Went to Lowes St. George on July 2, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. to buy light bulbs and a light bulb changing pole. I am changing all the lights in my house and needed a lot of lights. I asked for help because there are so many different light bulbs these days. They paged someone overhead. I heard it and went to aisle 9. After 5 minutes, I went back to see if anyone was coming. The customer service person said they will call them on their intercom. I went back to aisle 9 and now there were 2 other customers waiting for help. After another 5 - 10 minutes I went again to ask for help. No one came. I finally left and went to our local Ace Hardware and bought all the light bulbs and tools I needed in less than 10 minutes. Thank you Ace Hardware.

You’re pretty much on your own at this store unless you want to chase someone down. They have a good selection of products if you can find your way around.

My dad has never complained about a negative experience somewhere to me in the last 20 years that I can remember. He came to Lowe’s on Thursday afternoon. We’ve had a problem with some fans we bought from Lowe’s and the remotes. He asked one of the younger employees standing in the fan section if he could get some help. The guy just said “no.” And that he does plumbing. He asked if he could help him find someone who does electrical that could assist him. The kid just said no again and I guess was just really rude. He was also super rude to the guy before my dad in what seemed like trying to impress a female co worker or a girl present or something.
My dad has been going to Lowe’s for 15+ years and has spent millions there as a general contractor. He said never in his life has he encountered someone this rude there. He’s too nice to leave a review so I’m doing it for him. I even asked if the kid seemed special needs and he said not at all.
Lowe’s do better. Train your employees in customer service. Take action when they are jerks. Like who the heck are you hiring these days?

My experience, the one time I've been at lowells to buy plants. There was a 3 for $10 sale. I ask the attendant which ones they were. He showed me when I went to pay for them. Half of them were on not 3 for 10 sale. I couldn't tell any difference between either half. I explained that I asked before I Asked Before I chose them, he told me whoever told me was mistaken so I gave him everything back. I said go to h---
