These people are the best! My car was towed into the shop after hours and was ready by 9:00 am the following morning. That's service above and beyond. Jim actually came in early once the next morning once he learned the car was there and replaced my alternator.. The price was also very reasonable. Hands off to the AAA driver who texted him that he was dropping off the car and to Jim for jumping on it!

I had the alternator on my vehicle die, so I stopped by to talk to Jim and his team. He gave me advice on how to easily uninstall the old alternator and install the new Intermountain alternator. His tricks and suggestions made a world of difference and made it an easy process. They are truly experts who provide excellent products and advice to help get the job done right the first time! A+ and the ONLY place I’ll go to for starter/alternator and electrical issues. Jim and the crew knows the starter/alternator process better than anybody in town. (Or maybe earth). They use all OEM/USA parts to rebuild, NOT cheap Chinese garbage! If you want to hate your life and have a great breakdown, the. go buy a cheap piece of garbage starter from autozone. When you break down at 2 am in northern Nevada, remember how you saved $15 LOL! These guys are affordable, they triple check everything they send out, they warranty their product s, and they take the time to explain the REAL issue (many times it’s not the starter or alternator). Jim will point you in the right direction with honesty and integrity. They love their repeat customers. Our whole family has them fix our vehicles and never had a problem one!! He even had me NOT buy an alternator because of another issue we discovered -just as he said. Honesty goes a long way and service, even further. Or, you can some 16yo strung out on meth sell you Chinese junk alternator at an auto parts store, and THEN go visit these guys and get it fixed RIGHT and for the long haul. You decide. I’ll give them 5 star because I can’t pick 10 star!! You won’t be disappointed. And I’m a 30 yr diesel mechanic and electrician.

Interwest has always been incredible. They rebuild alternators and starters. So I have had to tow several cars in, but they are always working on them bright and early so I get them back quickly. They warranty the work. They charge fair prices. They are really good at what they do. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Guy on the phone was very nice/professional helped me with directions to his shop too. Doing the actual transaction was very knowledgeable and again professional. I would recommend his shop anytime!
