Taking the title from Wells Fargo, Chartway has proven to be the worst financial institution I've ever experienced.They recently decided to go ahead and convert my dormant, zero-balance, no-fee checking acct to one with monthly fees without my permission; first notifying me by notice of a negative balance.I'll opt to not continue into what would become a critical onslaught; suffice it to say that in the ways Southwest Community Federal Credit Union was great...they are not.

Just tried to make a payment through the automated system. Voice says to say or enter phone number, I entered it, then it says "I can't hear you, please say something or this call will end" I said help, phone hangs up. Please please please fix your phone payment systemOr at least fix your website for easy payment. It's frustrating I don't even want to make a payment today!

I had a pre approved Auto Loan through Chartway that made it soo soo easy to purchase a vehicle once I found it the process was soo easy , smooth and seamless. Chartway was Great!

I went in to inquire about moving my vehicle loan to Chartway at 2:30 pm 12/27/2021. At 4:15 pm the same day my loan was already processed and a check in hand. The interest rate was lower than quoted as well! A shout out to Kayden and Fred for making this happen! It's experiences like this that have kept me at the same credit union since 1988....a few name changes of course. Great job!

Haven't banked there but a pretty decent place to work. Now work at Goldenwest and enjoy it there too. If you need work at either places, not a bad gig.

The local customer service is OK, but the corporate customer service is amazing!! Any time that I have an issue, someone at their corporate office has it fixed within minutes over the phone.

This bank was great when it was LOCAL (SUFCU and then SWFCU). Then Chartway took over, bringing in their people and policies, making it the worst place to bank in the area. I am giving it a one because I can't give zero.

Very unimpressed. Was working (if you can call it that) with Fred Pascoe and he would take days if not weeks to get back to me, would never even acknowledge emails. I can keep going but there's no point. Will never use this business. Take your money elsewhere.

Great staff at the local level trying their best to work for a company that obvioiusly has very little connection with customer service in our area. Aweful customer service at the parent company level. When contacting them several times for a seemingly simple problem, they were dismissive and not helpful with several important questions I had about setting up an account. Sad! I went to a local bank and set up exactly the same type of account in a matter of about 10 minutes!

Recently decided to go ahead and convert my no-fee checking acct to one with monthly fees without permission. I use the acct ZERO!! I only kept it in case of a "For some reason my wonderful Mtn. America accts are inaccessible" scenario. So the first I heard of it was through a negative balance notification. I can't keep going as there are just too many instances and particulars...I would be writing for hours. All employees have been just fine...it's the corporatized framework and experience which are horrible. That's the reason I switched from Wells to Southwest Community. Welcome to the machine fellow members! I'm out!
