I’ve been meaning to post a review and finally getting around to it. The staff at Mountain West have been amazing for my two very needy dogs. I live in salt lake and it is worth the drive to have such care put into my two monsters. Dr Bott (and the other vet, don’t remember her name but she has my undying admiration) helped my younger dog through a really tough situation where he had to get his eye removed. He is unfazed and doing great and the care they gave him that day was amazing. If they accept new patients they should be your vet. I’ve never seen dogs be excited to go to the vet and mine run in there like it’s their best day. Thanks for all you’ve done for my pups! I appreciate all of you so much!

This place is great! They even saved the life of my sister's puppy who fell down a drainage pipe and came in with hypothermia. He's still doing great.

Every one at mountain west is always so friendly and understanding. Dr. Bott always listens to all of my concerns (even when they are stemmed from paranoia) and is quick to to check on anything I bring up. His diligence was the only reason our late kitty got her best chance in the end; and we are forever grateful for the hard work and care these people show. Thank you.

I moved to Springville and currently drive almost 40 miles to a vet in Riverton. I called and they said "we are not taking new clients". When I asked if they could recommend someone she gave me a name -- the girl talked like a valley girl. I explained that I am hearing impaired and asked her to spell it and she hung up on me.Caring staff - NOT. Caring for animals? Not from where I'm sitting.

They really are the best. They were so great when it was time for our dog to go. Made it easier for sure. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

This location is truly amazing. I drove around to two different locations for last minute emergency help for my dog and was told they couldn’t help me because I didn’t have an appointment. They staff here let us in at short notice and got us in as soon as they could. They were kind and compassionate and gave us the help we needed to aid our dogs recovery.

Dr. Bott and his staff are incredible! You can tell that they genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Bott has extensive experience and knowledge, and is always willing to offer advice for the best care. I would not trust anyone else with my furry family members!

I used to use this vet all the time. But lately, they have become unreliable. Website says they are open on a certain day, and so is a voice prompt on a phone. In reality, they are not. So, I can not rely if they actually will be there when we need them. Plus, last time, they misdiagnosed cyst on my cats shoulder as a tumor. In the process of explaining to me how much biopsy will cost, he was trying to show me where they will draw the sample, and he(vet) popped the cyst.

My family has been coming here for the majority of our pets for over 15 years. And on the last day of my dog's life, I could not have been more disappointed...Weeks ago I scheduled our goodbye with MW, and I picked today because I was assured Dr. Bott would be in town as he wouldn't be earlier this month. She loves Dr. Bott, and I wanted her final moments to be with her favourite and most familiar vet. I checked MULTIPLE times to ensure this and was told if anything changed, Id be informed in advance. We show up today, and learn its with their stand in vet, Dr. King, because evidently Dr. Bott was gone today as well. They did not light the candle they usually do when people are saying goodbye so that the lobby can stay quiet, so we had to hear chatter while trying to say our goodbyes. This might not seem big but I've been there when the candle was lit and it hurt they didn't care to give that courtesy to us even after I asked about it.And Dr. King had terrible bedside manner. Didn't even bother to check the info on our dog before coming into the room as he kept calling her a boy. It just showed how little he cared to even try and act like this was important on her last day. And then he ignored us when we told him her arthritis is horribly painful in her back legs, and instead of finding a different placement the way Bott would have since he knows her, he just gave her the sedative in her hind leg causing her to flip out from the pain in her final alert moments.Just a terrible experience for the hardest day of my life as is. Our goodbye was ruined by these people, and my sweet dog didnt even get to see anyone she loved and was familiar with in office. Not Jordyn, the kind front desk girl, and not her favourite most trusted vet Dr Bott.I'd recommend anyone to Dr Bott, but i wouldnt recommend anyone to do anything at this clinic otherwise. I will be finding somewhere else to go for my other pets and any future pets as well. Shame on everyone there today for their lack of effort put in to an already difficult situation. I am disgusted with everyone who was in clinic July 29th 2023. And if Dr King is the vet available when you go in for anything, I say turn around and leave. Disappointed beyond words.Update: Dr Bott saw my review shortly after posting. He took the time to review camera feeds and call me to ask questions and apologize for the whole experience. Nothing can fix the damage that has been done and the hurt my family has been through, but as previously stated, Dr Bott is still the best of the best and i appreciate him caring enough to reach out about the whole ordeal.

Dr Davis has been treating our cat ever since the cat adopted us about 7 years ago. Dr D is the best. The entire staff is great.
