It's been a week since I had the worst experience I have had with a dealership and I still feel sick to my stomach about my experience. I was interested in a vehicle on their lot, drove an hour to come and see it (2 hours of driving round trip). I brought in my vehicle so that they could appraise it for trade. I then test drove the vehicle and loved it. We got back to the dealership after test driving the vehicle and discussed my trade appraisal as well as numbers on what our payment would be on the vehicle. We had some extra number requests and our salesmen called the owner to discuss those. When he came back he let us know that the owner was currently on the phone with another buyer and was about to take a deposit from that buyer at any moment. We actually thought he was joking and that maybe this was one of their scare tactics to get us to really buy the vehicle (even though we were going to) so I told him, "well, can't you tell him not to take the deposit, because we are ready to buy it?" our salesman said he couldn't do that and that there was nothing else he could do for us. We were shocked when he told us that he wouldn't be able to sell us the vehicle any longer. I contacted them a few days later because I still couldn't believe that happened and the "owner" responded saying that he had actually taken the deposit from the other buyer moments before we arrived. So which one is actually telling the truth because that was two different stories? My guess is that the other buyer did call the owner while we were test driving the vehicle and the owner didn't want to have to be the bad guy with his buyer so instead he told his salesman to tell us we couldn't buy the vehicle any longer. Even though we were already there, already test drove the vehicle, and had already discussed numbers. Why wouldn't you call your own dealership and verify that there isn't anyone there interested in your vehicles before taking deposits? We were able to have our trade appraised, test drive the vehicle, and discuss financials all before we were told it had THEN sold to someone else right from under us. DO BETTER!

Driven truly deserves 5 stars. We had the best experience, and they made the whole process of buying a car seamless and easy. John was so great to work with, and he took care of us throughout the entire process. SO impressed with everybody here.

Driven Auto has got to be the best car buying experience my husband and I have ever had. Austin and Garrison were incredibly professional and took a consultative approach to ensure I got the best vehicle for our family. I don’t normally do reviews, but people need to know if you are going to buy any vehicle, you’d better check out Driven Auto and make sure you ask for these two guys!

This is my honest experience with Driven Auto Sales. I contacted this dealership because I was interested in a car they had on their lot. I talked to a guy named Garrison and he helped me out with questions I had on the car. We start chatting and I eventually tell him that I would like to purchase the car. I live out of state so I wasn’t able to be at the dealership right away but we start talking about financing and eventually he sends over a finance form for me to fill out so that we can start the process of finalizing this car. Since I’m out of state, I confirm once again that I want to buy the car since I need to make arrangements and he confirms that the car will be good to go when I get there next week. Great, things seem to be going smoothly so far. I buy a plane ticket for early next week. I knew the car was fine but wanted to at least do my due diligence so I told him that my family is gonna come check out the car this weekend. Garrison told me that they were involved in a parade that Saturday and my parents should come a little later in the day to test drive the car. No worries, happy to do that.
This is where things start going wrong. Saturday comes and my parents get to the dealership in the afternoon. They end up being turned away when they get there because the car was unavailable to see? Okay, thats weird. Why would they be turned away when I set up a time to see it with the dealership? Anyways, I call the dealership and I speak to a guy named John. He told me that someone came into the dealership early that same day and he SOLD THE CAR THAT I ORIGINALLY AGREED TO PURCHASE TO SOMEONE ELSE. I couldn’t believe it. How could this have happened? Weren’t there any notes in their system? Any checks to ensure the car isn’t being sold to someone else? I told him I agreed to purchase the car days ago and that I already made the arrangements to pick it up. John ended up telling me that in the end there was nothing that I could do and that the sale was final. I was absolutely devastated.
I have such a bad taste for this dealership. I’ve worked with numerous dealerships and I’ve NEVER had an experience like this before. They knew I was out of state and that I was making special arrangements to get this car and they decide to disregard all that and sell the car to someone else. That’s just shady business in my opinion.
I HIGHLY advise to stay away from this dealership. Especially if you live out of state. I have never experienced anyone more unprofessional in my life. If you agree to a car with them, be careful because they might sell your car to someone else and not tell you about it until you show up to the dealership. I will never do business with these people and I’m staying far away from anything associated with them.

I've never been to a dealership quite like Driven. They're not in a huge, recently remodeled and expanded building with tons of employees. Driven feels more like a neighborhood dealership. (Although their building is very nice and up with the times.) One feeling I had was trust. They were so professional and honest, not to mention creative, I can't imagine ever buying a car from anyone else. Plus. they have a 63 Thunderbird in their showroom! How cool is that! What really impressed me, however, was their ability to put togther an outstanding package that was a win-win scenario. For example, they relieved me of a car I hated and was a financial weight around my neck, sold me the car I wanted (a Mustang GT that my daughter was drooling over), and overall reduced my total car payments situation. There's no other dealership like Driven.
