My dog was starting to become a problem, and we needed help! I had one facetime with this company. And that very first conversation changed our lifes! Our dog is doing so much better and so are we! They have such great advice and genuinely care about their clients and the dogs!

We had Sara help us with our family years a few years ago and it was night and day even after one day of her coming to do an hour session. I recently got my own dog and needed some extra help with obedience training since I had forgotten so much of what we had worked on years ago with our other dog. Before, my newest puppy would chew, jump, destroy, dig, and get into everything he could. He also didn’t know boundaries and respect when people would come over, and my hands would literally get burnt from his leash from his pulling. After Sara helped with all of those things, it’s like I had a brand new dog. Now I don’t even need a physical leash for him to know he needs to walk next to me, he knows not to run out of the front door if it’s open, he doesn’t dig, and he respects the company of other guests. I’ve been complemented with how well behaved of a dog I have, and that’s one of the best compliments I could ever get from a stranger, all thanks to Sara at Bakers Acres Academy.

We did several consults with surrounding trainers and Sara stood out immediately. Her history and background with dogs and training is pretty tough to beat and it all shows when she’s training your dog. It is a very personal experience and she can (and will!) address/improve any issue or concern you come to her with. Every lesson was productive and taught us something new to focus on and improve on. We came to her with a high energy puppy that struggled with distractions and impulse control. She taught us the best tools and practices to help our pup channel is energy in an appropriate way. And overall teach him good manners in the house and in social settings with other dogs. He’s learned off leash reliability and more in just a few short months.We’ve loved group lessons and her additional dog boarding services. She is always available for a quick phone call or text to address any questions that come up. Wow!!!! Sara worked her magic that is full of knowledge with Boots. Boots is our super high energy, huge, strong Golden doodle that has never been trained and desperately needed it. To be honest I needed to be trained probably more than he did. Sara worked with me, two of my kids, and Boots for 3 days is all and Boots is a completely different dog! Our family now enjoys being out in the unfenced yard with Boots and he stays with us rather than running off. Boots will sit at the door and wait until we say he can go out! We can take him to the park to play fetch and he will listen and go back inside the house when we call him. Boots also does not go crazy barking at everyone that walks by. Boots is thriving now that he has direction and rules to follow. I am also doing so much better and have less stress about owning a dog. Thanks so much Sara. 100% satisfied and would recommend Bakers Acres K9 Academy to everyone with a dog!!

She knows her stuff! Contacted her for a free consult when I was overwhelmed as a new dog owner. Just the information she gave in the consult helped turn overwhelmed into controlled and enjoyable. She really cares about the improvement of our relationship with our dog, not just getting us to sign up for lessons. Totally recommend.

A must for all dog owners!!!! We just adopted an older dog and reach out to Sarah on the best way to help her adapt better and see if she needed any training. We had an initial consultation with her and she gave us so much in site! We hired her right away for an assessment and we’re even more blown about how much even more information she specifically for our dog! She let us know the type of training she needed and answer all our questions. After the first lesson we can already see a difference in our dog! Highly recommend hiring her!!!

We were at our wits end with our puppy whining and barking at night for hours on end in his crate and Sara came to our rescue! Through a Zoom meeting she was able to give us a few exercises to try and they worked almost immediately! By the second night our puppy was sleeping soundly in his crate not making a sound. Can’t recommend Sara enough. Honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without her!

I have a 2 year old Border collie that did whatever she wanted and did not respect me, or listen to me. She is very fearful of people and would charge at the door and follow them around the house snapping at them. Thankfully she never bit anyone, but it was definitely heading that way! She was also really bad on walks. She would freak out if she saw another dog. I am so happy and relieved that I was referred to Sara. She has completely changed everything for our family! I now have a dog that respects and listens. She will stay on her place when people come over. And she's actually calm and relaxed there!! She is also much better on walks and isn't crazy reactive when she sees , or hears other dogs. I would 100% recommend Sara to anyone wanting to prevent or change bad behavior!! She is so knowledgeable in what she does and is literally just the best!!! Love, love, love her!!!

My husband and I were very pleased with Sarah's wisdom. Our dog Buster , who we had been working with for months but couldn't make progress on, changed within minutes of using her suggestions has responded nicely and is retaining the training.Her customer service is top notch, and love for animals is apparent.

Sara Baker has developed an awesome approach to dog training. In a logical step-by-step process, she helps the owner become the "dog whisperer" for their dog. For us, it actually started in advance of the training, with the "Pick of the Litter" program, where Sara sat down and interviewed our family to understand our needs, then helped us figure out what breed to get, helped me interview breeders, and then helped us select the best puppy in the litter for our particular need
