Every. Single. Interaction. That I have had with SFCN has been a good one. That is so rare for any company, much less an ISP. They are polite, fast, and they care about your issues and want to resolve them. The internet service is incredibly reliable and if you do have any issues at all they custom service is top-notch. SF is truly lucky to have such a good local utility.

Thank you to the technicians who very efficiently connected me to the internet after a week of being unconnected after moving (Xfinity!! couldn't). Very helpfulf and friendly service all around. Thank you!

Im going to keep their service because its cheap but they never take responsibility for their internet dropping - I have replaced my router & had to reboot it multiple times because it loses a DHCP address. Not once have I been told it on their end. They should really start looking if its an issue at their core router instead of just checking the fiber and saying the light levels look good.

Update: spoke to another young woman who was rude and impatient again. I was speaking and just interrupting me, speaking over me. I am such a nice person... i wasnt rude to her. The internet is not connecting to my house and she was not concerned at all just told me to just wait for someone to show up and help me because she could do nothing for me. Im very disappointed with the service. The technicians are great. Very nice but the phone agents are not good.

I called and cancelled cable yesterday. First day of the month in the morning. The next morning I return the equipment ( big hurry. They say I have to do it within 24 hrs.). I go in the next morning and return the equipment. They asked, "have you cancelled" yes, I replied. Oh, we must not have gotten around to it yet. So they did it while I was there. I asked for a receipt they said "We don't usually give a receipt". I insisted since if they don't keep very good track of when you cancelled, they probably don't keep track of when equipment is returned. Too many times I have gotten billed for equipment I have already returned and they say "We don't have any record of you returning that equipment". And they charge the price of new equipment, even though it is used and worth less than 20% of what it was. And as I was leaving they said I would get charged for the entire month since I did not cancel early enough. Everyone else prorates their service but not them. So lesson learned. Cancel early and do it in person and wait for them to give you a dated receipt. You say you do not have a record of me being a customer. They did not have much trouble finding my records when I talked to them. I have been a customer for 30 years. They send me a bill each month. Same name on the bill. The lady at the billing office said I would be charged for the entire month even though I canceled on the 1st day of the month. So I will we will find out when I get the bill.

Actually the worst internet service I’ve ever experienced. We have only been in Spanish Fork for 1 week and have never gotten advertised speeds (not even 1/4 of the advertised speed!) and that’s if we’re lucky to even get online. I’ve reviewed their policies on what could cause slow internet which seems to do nothing but blame the customer. My 7.5mbps download speed is far from the 1gbps (1000mb) speed you’re advertising. Will be seeking other isp options.EDIT: Technician currently at the house helping us with service issues, technician is fantastic (not to say the same about CS.) I’ll be updating my rating if speeds stabilize in the next month.

Have used SFCN 100 mbs fiber internet for a couple of years now, we use it for the occasional streaming and otherwise low internet usage - no extra smart devices, just two phones, a tablet, and two computers. Don’t really get 100mbs (it’s usually around 60-80) but works for what we need— at least when it’s working. Speeds regularly get really choppy or internet stops working altogether every month or so. I even bought a new modem (netgear R7450) to make sure it wasn’t our equipment. I hand it to them for being as helpful as they can over the phone or sending a technician out to check the fiber without a lot of time waiting, but the fundamental issue is that it’s unreliable. Just annoying how often and how random the internet will slow down or stop altogether.

I highly recommend SFCN for home internet services! I’ve been a customer for many years, from the old cable modem days to the current 1Gbps fiber. The team has always been very responsive, quick to lend a helping hand or advice. Even when the problem may be yours Looking forward to new and exciting features from this team! Awesome job guys!

Third outage in 3 months. I’ve never experienced so many outages with any other ISP, especially at this rate. 3 outages, and I’ve used their internet for 4 months. Come on guys. Definitely switching this time. I understand some outages happen, but now it’s unreliable.EDIT: Internet came back on in 5 minutes in the third outage. I’m giving them another chance and editing the review. I seriously hope I do t experience another outage for at least a couple months!

Terrible customer service. I called when my internet went out and before even attempting to explain the issue to me, the guy started asking “does your husband know how to restart the router?” “When does your husband get home?” I hadn’t even mentioned a husband.

Although we have had occasional outages, SFCN has had great customer service, and the techs have always been quick to respond and fix issues.

Not sure why some people have speed issues but I live pretty close to highway 6 and I-15 and we get great speeds. Faster than the google fiber I had in Provo and a little cheaper! This is by far the bests internet service I have had. I hope to never leave Spanish Fork because I love it. I have never had to call in for customer support so I can’t review that part of the company but my service is great :)

My parents have this service. Internet works now and then. Typically only works for 10 minutes before going out again. They’ve been promised fiber since moving here 2 years ago hasn’t happened. Customer service is very unprofessional and sexist. “Sounds like it’s just not plugged in.” I’ve wasted a lot of my time trying to troubleshoot it for my parents with no success. Worst service I’ve ever dealt with. But the tech has been nice so there’s that.

Municipal fiber network will always beat out Comcast or other bigname ISP's. So far speeds have been consistently fast, easy network setup, no need for any kind of modem or special rent-a-proprietary network device scheme, just plug and play. Had an issue with a bad PoE (power over ethernet device) and had a tech out to my house within an hour to fix/replace it. Fast, friendly service. Glad to never have to deal with CrapCast ever again.

I agree with the others mentioning connection issues at times, it seems to have improved a bit within the last few months. Their phone lines are basically worthless, they done have any sort of system to really manage a phone queue so you just have to call back often, and even then they don’t answer. They have responded better on Twitter about outages but frankly their customer service is bad in a similar but different way from big companies. They do have good prices, and besides some outages I haven’t had too many issues in the last year and a half of using them.
