Zac is awesome and motivating. He really pushes me to push myself all while still keeping it fun. He can instantly modify any work out to work around any individual. My friend and I have been going for a little over 2 months now and am happy with my results.

Zac is great he always gives instructions on how to do each exercise correctly, making sure we don't get any injuries. He pushes you to work harder. I love how feel after a good workout.

Prior to working out with Zac I had only ever done group classes like Yoga, Pilates, and HITT. I had minimal experience lifting weights but after digging into the research on longevity I found I need to get serious about building and maintaining muscle for long term function and health. I chose a personal trainer so I could learn form and build strong, grounded, and balanced muscles. I was referred to Zac by numerous individuals and I have not been disappointed! He challenges me to increase the weights I'm lifting and push it to the end while still maintaining safety and form! He is an incredible trainer and motivator! I have gained muscle and strength and I'm loving it! I felt nervous and vulnerable to start lifting weights and to work with a personal trainer, but Zac immediately put me at ease with our first conversations and workouts and he has made me feel comfortable and capable ever since. I’ve been working out with Zac for almost 2 years now. I had never used a personal trainer before because I enjoyed an active lifestyle. But the last 8 years I had steadily neglected myself and I couldn’t get on top of it by myself. My sister invited me to workout with her and I was hooked. It feels like a second home working out with Zac and his fantastic clients. It’s such a fun and supportive environment! But it’s also challenging and you learn not to fear the hard but meet it head on. I’ve lost 20 lbs and everything about my life is better from the work I’ve done there and what I’ve learned from Zac about health and fitness and a sustainable lifestyle. He is your advocate and supporter! He wants you to win. I look forward to my workouts each week. I drive 45+ minutes to his studio and it’s worth every second!

I have worked out with trainers all my adult life. Zac is by far the most amazing at what he does! He knows what works, he keeps it simple, and he knows how to get you the results you are looking for. He has a great outlook on life and the energy he has created in his gym is awesome!

We love Zac and Carlyn! Their workouts are hard (in a good way?). They push you, but not in an intense way; for example “Zac, I think I can add some 10 lb weights to the lunges.” He brings 15 like a ninja. But they always listen to concerns about aches and pains, take them seriously, and adjust the workout as needed.Their mentality is “fix things with little adjustments over time”. They don’t expect you to change your entire life in one week and I appreciate their approach. I don’t think I’ve ever been a strong as I am right now, and it feels awesome!

My wife and I have been working out together here multiple times a week for over a year now. There’s not a better atmosphere in the business. The support (great trainer staff and their very helpful phone app) is unparalleled to anything we’ve ever experienced with other trainers. The results have been amazing and the physical and mental transformation has been beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Expect a challenging but enjoyable workout with a good/healthy burn that lasts for days.

Reached out to Zac because of all the "rave" reviews. Sent a message through his website initially. It promised a response in 48 hours. Several days later I get an apology text and an attempt to contact me to see if I was still interested. I told him I was and to call me when he had a minute. Two days later - still no response! Not interested in any longer. I'm not willing to give business to local businesses that obviously don't care. If this is the attention you get ahead of time it makes me wonder how attentive they are once you're paying. I wouldn't bother.

I started training at Energy Explosion almost a year ago, my experience with them has been great! For reference I am 25 years old. My goal in working with a personal trainer was to gain confidence working out. I feel I have achieved that. It’s been incredible to gain confidence in my body. For me, the thing that sets Energy Explosion apart from other gyms is the environment. I have never once been pressured or put down by a trainer. If I want to go down in weight, if I want to switch out an exercise, if I don’t want to set a goal that week, it’s always fine. The environment is always positive and uplifting. I know I am going to leave having completed a great workout and feeling better about myself. I would recommend energy explosion to anyone looking for a positive personal training experience.
