By far the best experience I've ever had with a shop! These guys are the real deal. Took my '89 4runner in for suspension and steering work and they got it done quickly and did a damn fine job. The care and communication from Tyler and Tony was amazing. 12/10 recommend. Thanks guys, ya'll are the best!

I brought my jeep here to address a hydraulic assist steering issue. Very friendly folks here, they bid out the repairs to fix the steering (approximately 3000.00). I came back, they told me how much better it was driving, I took it for a test drive it was barely any better, above 50 mph it was unsafe to drive. Then they proceeded to explain that it was the short wheelbase of my vehicle (2001-TJ), the overpowered nature of hydraulic steering, and that it was the best it could be. They recommended removing the entire hydraulic assist steering system because they felt that it would never be any better. I paid them, but I did not accept their explanation, I took it to the PSC recommended shop (impulse offroad), they fixed it. It drives great. I can drive 70 mph down the freeway with my pinky, and when I do that I don't fear for my life. My recommendation is don't take hydraulic assist steering issues to this shop, they don't know what they're doing, won't admit this, and will prescribe repairs that may or may not actually improve your vehicle driving dynamics, invoice you for repairs, and then blame your vehicle when they can't make it better. I'm sure that they know suspension, but definitely not hydraulic steering.

Salty Gears are solid. Tony was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Had them do a new suspension lift and 37s for a bronco and they did incredible work. The job was quick and only a couple days. Will absolutely be going here for future work to be done.

Salty Gears is the best off road/auto/performance shop I have ever had the pleasure to use. Tyler and Tony are simply the best and are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, creative, and get the job done and done well. Their entire staff and team crush it. I took them my Ford Raptor for several different projects over the last year and they simply amazed me every single time...with the final product being better than imagined, quality of the work was exceptional, the communication, vision, and performance. I was lucky to get connected with them. They took my stock ford raptor and made it a wide body, fire breathing beast. List of work to give you an idea of how quality and exception they made my build..-ADV Fiberglass Wide Body kit..install and paint-KC Gravity Pod Light bar-ADD Bumpers-intercooler-Gearhead custom tune and dyno!-wheels and tires-suspension-replacement of stock turbo to garret turbos-more...They simply created the best truck i could imagine, at fair pricing, excellent work and communication and were a pleasure to be around. they are enthusiast that see the vision and can make it happen. if you have anything you want done to your vehicle, this is where you go. period.
