The setting up the appointment (recommended) online, the confirmations, the Track Your Journey - the staff from the moment I walked in the door, being professional yet friendly. That is the people we see. There are the unsung heroes in the back putting on those new tires, everyone working efficiently. The quality workmanship, the advice. The entire experience (second time, two cars - same) was excellent. One should not need tires often, but when the need does arise, Discount Tire is where we will be.

There is a guy there named Bridger
Honest hard working kid , should manage the place . He told me my tires were good and did not need replacing at this time and I had ordered some Firestone in from Boise Id.
So refreshing to have an honest opinion from an expert rather than just sell you something you may not need.
Hope discount tires can retain him.

I love the discount tire on state and 22nd. They are quick, efficient, very kind, check in every step of the way and they have always taken phenomenal care of me! I blew a tire last night and had my car towed there. It stayed over night in the lot and first thing this am they got it taken care of! They even asked my preferred PSI for my tires. There isn’t anyone there I haven’t had a great experience and I’m a lifer!

They would not rotate my tires, I had to go to Less Schuab, and they did an exceptional job.
I would not recommend discount tires.
They just push you to get new tires, even when you don't need them!

Bridger helped me when I originally came in. I needed 4 tires, but could only afford two this time around. He made me feel bad for not being able to afford 4 new tires, just his wording and attitude. I came in the next day and talked to Joshua and he was much more helpful in getting me the two tires I could afford and didn’t ask any questions or suggest I needed more.

Had a bit of an emergency with a popped tire and this location helped me out a ton. It was a huge stress on me because of a move I was going through at the same time. I really appreciated Josh especially, as he was way understanding and helped make the process a lot smoother.

I went into the shop to get my tire that had a slow leak looked at and fixed. The salesperson Tristan M. came out to look at the car with me so I could show him what tire. He then started to look into the tire tread and life. He told me that my back passenger was very low and was in danger of going out. I told him thank you for letting me know to call me when he gets the car in and get me a quote and I'll let him know if they can replace it while they fix the leak. I did not hear anything from them and went back to the shop when I was told the work would be done. Tristan then told me Hey the leak is fixed here is your keys. I asked about the other tire, and He said oh yea let's get you a quote. He stated that he thought I just wanted prices when I got back so I went with that and figured it was an honest mistake. I then purchased a tire and asked they would please rotate the tires as well. Tristan said oh of curse we will, it will take another hour and a half. They did get the car in a little quicker than that, but they only changed the tire, they did not rotate them. when the tech brought me the car and keys, I asked why they did not rotate them he looked surprised and stated that no one said anything about rotating them. I asked if Tristan had talked to him about it when he brought out the work order to them and he said no. He then said they could try to get it back in the shop as soon as possible but it might be another hour. I had already been waiting a little over 2 hours, so I declined. I told the tech that it's not his fault that I apricate there work but someone needs to talk to Tristan about his communication skills. Because that was 2 times that I had asked him something and he ignored them both and made me have to wait longer to get the services done. I would recommend this shop for the work but so far, the customer service needs work.

Love this location! I had a tire pop and Josh was SO helpful and informative. Sometimes I get scared doing car related things thinking I’ll be made to feel dumb for not knowing things. However, Josh was SO kind, patient, and empathetic. I was so stressed about my tire, so having that kindness shown to me was really appreciated. He explained things very thoroughly. Bridger was also very kind and helpful! These guys deserve a raise. The type of guys to give you tips/suggestions because they care (as opposed to using scare tactics to make money). Great staff.
UPDATE
I just had my scheduled appointment to change my tire and just like last time, they were SO kind, friendly, and helpful! I was in and out within 15 minutes. (Luckily, it was early and a week day, so not busy). They also accommodated a very specific request for where to put my spare (as my car was a bit of a disaster from just moving lol) without any hesitation or judgment!

Too long of wait times to book and wait for tasks to be completed. Ended up going elsewhere.

I do not understand the point of scheduling an appointment when the wait time is still over an hour to have my tires rotated. As Jerry Seinfeld once said "you know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to HOLD the reservation." Also, I stood in line for 15 minutes while employees were running in and out and completely ignoring our presence. The poor senior gentleman with a prosthetic leg in front of me also stood there for 15 minutes, visibly shaking and struggling to stand there any longer. The employees wouldn't even look at us. I understand they're crazy busy, but an acknowledgment would be nice while we're all awkwardly standing in line wondering what the hell is going on.

I went in because my tire had a leak. I was so surprised at how fast the entire process was! As a walk-in, I expected to wait and they had told me it would take an hour but my car was completely done in less than 30 minutes. Staff was super friendly and professional and communicated to me everything I needed to know.
