I've taken my 2020 Subaru here for service twice. One of the times they told me I needed an alignment for like a couple hundred bucks, which was odd to me + the car itself has information on alignment and it didn't throw any issue. But I had a 2000+ road trip planned for the next month so I went with it anyways. I also asked them if you could do 2 things: check the window bouncing sensor and reset the TPMS sensor, but they didn't do either of those. Regardless the rest was a regular service. Got my car back same day, with a nice clean oil change. Getting it back same day is very important. Some other Subaru dealer places wash your car for you for free, but this place doesn't. I suppose that isn't necessary but I did like it when the others did.

I have never wanted to give a ZERO star review before. Like ever, but I wish I could here. Long story short, purchased a car June 2023 with Donny. Discovered a leak from the top back windshield. Would have never seen something like this PRIOR to purchase because it was discovered after a car wash. Not a small leak, like I would have a puddle of water. Also needed a stereo replacement. Contacted Donny via emails multiple times about the stereo and then the leak. No response. Not acknowledged, none of that. & 6 months later, I'm finally told that they would not pay the diagnostics fee. I'm not even directly told, not from Donny, the sales manager, vp or whatever none of them. & That is why I wished I could give a zero star review. Would I purchase another car here? Absolutely not. Would I purchase from Subaru in general? Absolutely not. Would I ever recommend Subaru or just in general? No. I do want to say, the service department is fantastic. Parker especially. I've never had a problem working with him and he's always gone above and beyond. Hunter was patient, and very helpful when I worked with him today. So, just because Young Subaru is getting a bad review. The service department is not. They were great. Just a side note.

Please read this review. This is our first time buying a car. We are aware of the reputation that car dealerships have. However, we assumed that their manipulation was exclusively smooth talking and convincing. Unfortunately we found out that lying, concealment, and misdirection are what they are best at. Obviously this might be standard among all dealerships, not just this one. This is probably a standard among the whole industry. And I would give any other dealership a poor review too. But this just happens to be the one we went to. We agreed to a slightly reduced price of 35k. However, the contract that they had us sign brought the price back up to the original MSRP without our knowing. I qualified for a discount of $800 that was not disclosed to me until the contract had already been signed. So all of the negotiating that was done was in vain, they knew I would have gotten most of the newly negotiated price from my discount. Lies by omission are still lies. They didn't include the discount at all. The individual working through the finances was nice of course. But he didn't disclose to us that there was an option not to purchase their plan. He indicated that the base option was free and we could upgrade to additional options. We were unaware and uninformed that we were purchasing a $4000 protection plan. We thought it was the base that comes with the car. I understand that every dealership is like this. But straight lying is just horrible. They added $12k of stuff that we were unaware of or wasn't agreed to. Of course we should have known. But this is our first time and they took full advantage. When I called to cancel, they assured us that wasn't their intention and that they didn't mean to do any of it. We all know that is exactly their intention. If this is the standard for the industry, then it is what it is. The people were nice and I guess that's good enough

In February the Subaru Forester I purchased from Young Subaru in Riverdale, Utah suffered a catastrophic engine failure. I had it towed to the dealership and after about a month of finagling, trying to get out of the warranty service, they finally agreed to repair the engine. After six months of excuses about slow parts and having to let the mechanic go who was working on my car, I finally picked up my car. After picking up my Forester, I drove less than 10 miles when the engine failed again. This is unacceptable. I am definitely not pleased with the service I have received from Young. On the positive side, I have had a loaner vehicle for the past four months.

Went to look for a new car, told them what our parameters would be to purchase one which the salesman kept pushing us to put more money down then we were comfortable doing. After spending multiple hours there and the deals not working for us we then tried to leave which we were then pushed to make a bad purchase because it would benefit them. The manager then came to push us even further which we was very passive aggressive as well as the salesman. They then continued to call and bug us even after we told them we bought a vehicle elsewhere. Terrible customer service.

I'm honestly surprised to see an average of 3 stars for rating. I have had nothing short of outstanding and impeccable service from Subaru. From the people answering the phone, to service and sales. I feel like they always take care of things at highest quality and what is best for the customer. I won't go anywhere else.

We recently made an appointment to test drive a WRX. Drove an hour each way to get to the dealership and they would not let us drive the car. The did not want to put the miles on it. I have never had a dealer pull this before. I would avoid this dealer.

This dealership will not budge on their non-refundable deposit rule. On 11-01-22, I put down a deposit on a model, before doing my full homework on the model. (My error!) After reading many negative online reviews for the model I reserved, I called and cancelled the reservation that I had placed, before 72 hours had passed. When I asked for the return of my deposit, I was told the reason they require a non-refundable deposit, is because they then take the model off the showroom for other customers to see or buy. I understand that if the actual car was physically on the lot at that time that I reserved it. However, the car is not due for arrival to the dealership until 11-21-22. I called again to request my deposit back due to not seeing how my temporary reservation on the car had negatively impacted the dealership or future sale of the car, after only three days reserve on a yet to be delivered car. The sales manager would not even reconsider their policy, or work with me. Yes, I understand it is my error in the first place. However, I thought they would work with me....once again an error on my part. Potential buyers, please due your full homework and review of the car you are interested in, before placing a deposit, and not make the same mistake that I did.

Pretty standard for a dealer service department. The last time I went they quoted me 5000 ($2800 parts and $2200 labor) to fix some control arms on my car. I ended up doing it myself for $700.

I have gone through Young Subaru for years now, but lately it has been absolutely awful. It has gotten so bad that I refuse to go to Young Subaru for servicing; I just go to Young Hyundai or Young Ford. This last experience with Subaru was the last straw for me. A car was going to be on their lot, and because I I didn’t want to even deal with them again, I had it transferred to Young Ford. Subaru was going to get it first, so they could wash it, detail it, etc. I was not able to pick up the car for several days because it wasn’t cleaned yet. After 12 days, I told him I was going to pick it up. I saw the vehicle right after it was taken from Subaru and up to Ford.. it was absolutely disgusting. The seats were extremely dirty, there was garbage on the floor, a broken steering wheel, and a large chip in the door that was not mentioned previously. After them having it for TWELVE days, they did absolutely nothing. I waited for the car for almost two weeks, and they didn’t even touch it. I can’t even fathom this derive.

Booked an apt for the 60K mile service. Asked them to also replace tail light burnt bulb while there. Didn't check before I left with my $700 bill but bulb wasn't replaced and paperwork said alignment was needed but not performed. Also does not mention if oil change was performed with the service. Prob won't return.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

I have to say Clayton Egelund was the best advisor I have ever delt with that trated me like a human being. I heard later he calls it the Clayton experience. And I must say it was at least that. It was the best I have had in customer service anywhere I have been. I really hope his boss and bosses see what they have in that young man. Thank you very much.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement
