We visited family in Ogden & rented a vehicle to visit Yellowstone & Grand Teton. Very positive experience. Recommend this business to anyone looking for a rental car.

Don’t even bother!!!! They didn’t have a car available, I called budget back and talk to a supervisor to be told they already canceled my reservation and now I won’t get my money back for 10 day! This company as a whole is a joke!

We ordered a car for Saturday to Saturday. With discussion about key placement. When we got there she had posted it for Friday to friday. And there was no car available. This left our vacation with no car at all. Thus 3000.00 lost for reservations and ahopping.

Tried to get a car rental from them. And just because the bank card wasn’t from a bank in Utah they would not let us rent the car. The girl that was working acted as though it was bothering her that she needed to help us with a rental. I highly recommend not coming to them. They don’t like to work on the weekend.

If I could I would put Zero stars. This has to be the WORST rental car experience I have ever had. I rented a car in flagstaff on 07/10. The systems were down and I returned the car the day it was due on 07/11 an hour before it was due. The lady couldn't find my reservation in the system she said she would have the manager close it out the next day. Here it is a week later, my reservation is still open and I got charged an extra $60. Never take your business here. According to budget customer service this is a franchise location. This location needs some serious help on how to do their jobs.

I rented a moving truck to move my daughter out of an abusive situation. When I arrived at this location I was advised there were no moving trucks available. I asked for my card not to be charged. The rep told me it would not be charged. I was lied to. Be aware to not make cancellations at their counter. They will charge your card any way for a No Show. Awful experience.

I'm editing this review because I experienced something very new on a recent rental. I was asked if I vacuumed the vehicle. This took me by surprise as I have never been asked this question. When I asked further questions, I was told it's in the contract I signed. After a detailed discussion, that included them telling me it started due to Covid and now they are short staffed, this fee was waived. I then reviewed the contract and did not find this wording anywhere. Why would I need to vacuum a rental that was paid for that would include this? My rate was not discounted, and I was not offered to be compensated for this task or my time, but yet I should be thankful the fee was waived? Isn't the convenience of renting a vehicle to be able to use it and return it? Doesn't the high cost of a rental cover the cost of cleaning a vehicle for the next renter to use? Besides, I'm not a rental car trasher, I actually keep them as clean as possible.Just be aware should you rent from this location. It is the only Budget location where I have encountered this silliness. If you are charged an extra fee for vacuuming, you now know why. There is no verbalization of this when picking up the rental. Moving forward, I am choosing to rent from them if it's a last resort. I utilize rental cars for work at least once per month, so pretty frequent. Unless they want to discount my costs or reimburse me for my costs and time to vacuum, I will choose differently. I choose convenience and the cost of the rental vs my time and costs to vacuum the rental car.Budget in Ogden Utah was so much better than my Las Vegas Budget experience!! Budget Ogden I found them to be efficient and professional, making sure the vehicle was safe and clean, identifying any damage or cleaning. The rental went off without issues. No need to produce a gas receipt like Las Vegas required.(eventhough the gas was full).I will use Budget Ogden Utah moving forward.

Terrible. I set up a truck rental online, and received a confirmation email message. When I arrived at the Riverdale Budget location, the lady looked at me like I was crazy, then got her boss on the phone. All they would say was that they didn't have a vehicle to rent to me, and that it wasn't their fault. Now, I have a $75 transaction on my Visa card for a rental that never happened. I call the number, but end up at the Salt Lake airport location. SLC tried to forward my call to the Riverdale office twice, but the call was dropped each time. Be careful renting from the Riverdale Budget location.

Great lady that runs this location. In & out in 5 minutes. Rented a SUV through Costco Travel. Great rate plus a shopping card. Highly recommended.

This location saved the day! We had called twice to confirm a vehicle was available, and once we arrived after driving an hour, we were told no cars were available. The staff was able to provide us with a car and was apologetic for the information we were told on the phone. After being completely stranded by Hertz, who gave our reservation away and demanded we upgrade, Budget has earned a forever customer.

The worst customer service ever! Do not try and rent from them. They will tell you your car is ready even send you a confirmation number and time to pick up but when arrived they shut me down quick very unprofessional will report this

I rented a car through Costco Travel and since I was traveling from Las Vegas Airport to Salt Lake Airport I reserved a car from the Airport to my Ogden destination. I had the reservation number, and they called to confirm the day of my travel to get make sure that I had a car ready for my destination! My first phone call the representative stated "I didn't have a car available', and was hung up on!! Then I called back and was told "Don't worry about it!, your car will be here when you land, then again I was hung up on!! as I got to the airport, and landed from my delayed flight due to a storm on Sunday 5/14/23 , I went to pick up my car. I was told it was not available. I did have a reservation after fighting them with that and showing them a copy of my verified reservation since I took the screen shot of my reservation!! Thank God, it convinced them I had a car!! But again I had to wait over an hour as people behind me in line went and received their cars before me!!! NO COMPENSATION on MY part whatsoever!! I went to the nearest Costco on my stay here in Ogden, spoke to the customer service desk at the store on Waln Avenue, and was given the same number to complain about this! The number they gave me was the same number to make a reservation! The customer service with this program sucks, I'm not very happy, and I will not know how this is going to end, but I l fly home and return MY car!!! I will NEVER use this service again!!! This company is the worst. They are grifting scammers. I wouldn't be surprised if the very few positive reviews here are not legit.My parents, who are the nicest people ever, rented a car, left it cleaner than when they rented it, the gas tank refilled, and the company still kept their $200 deposit.The Ogden location, at least at that time I don't know about now, didn't have a phone for calling in, so one has to physically go in to have any contact with them. When I did go in, the desk staff, two women, were extremely, and I do mean extremely belligerent, unprofessional, unhelpful, and hostile. Especially the older one.Reaching out to corporate as we did right after, (and as budget rental keeps linking in the replies here in the reviews reply section) gets you absolutely nowhere. The deposit was never returned. Do not rent from them because you WILL get scammed by these clowns. Other rental places like Enterprise and Hertz will give your deposit back, so go with them.Please don't make the mistake of renting from this dishonest group of people eager to take your hard earned money where inflation keeps rising, in the most deceitful way.The people who work there, the two women at the desk all the way to corporate, should all be ashamed of themselves when they look in the mirror when they go home at night. I'm directly questioning their character. Maybe they hate their job, maybe they don't care about having good character. I don't know. They're so cringy.

Poor costumer service and not clear information at the time to do your reservation. I pre paid on line and I provided all my information on line. When I got to the place to get the car they wanted me to pay again and also they wanted a piece of mail (proof of residency). I never had to deal that in my life. Normally people don’t carry with them a piece of mail with their address and their name when they are traveling. On top of that now I have to find a way to my money refunded. You guys are a joke.
