I wish there was a 0 STAR OPTION. Look, I've worked in sales and customer service for 10+ years, and what this dealership is doing should be against the law, let alone, just simply "bad business practices". They sold us a car with less than 20K miles, saying it works great and no problems. About 2 weeks later, having driven less than 200 miles, the whole car stops working, headlights, electrical system, and other important safety components. They took it into the shop only to have it for 45 DAYS, with no updates. Finally, when we got the car back, after a week, it happened again! This time the car was "ONLY" in the shop for 40 days, - for the same issue. Best part is you would think it would be fixed, right? NOPE, less than 5 days later, it has the same issue. In the shop again, with no fix in mind besides what they've done in the past. No communication. No help on their end to get out of this HORRIBLE and NON-DRIVABLE car. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP and VW as a whole. Snake Oil Salesmen at best.

Scheduled an appointment to see a car. Upon arrival, the sales associate and I walked to the farthest corner of the lot looking for said car—but the car wasn’t there. We returned to the dealership so that the the sales associate could determine where the car was. After a significant amount of time passed, the sales associate returned to inform me that the car had been sold two days prior. My appointment was at 12:30 pm and no one informed me, prior to my appointment, that the car had been sold. Whatever, they want people on the lot. Now, disappointed that the vehicle had sold, but still looking to buy a vehicle, I was told to wait while they were bringing around a comparable vehicle. After waiting an appreciable amount of time, was told that the alleged comparable vehicle was not able to be shown and/or driven. No further explanation, apologies for the inconvenience, etc. I’m human too, but you guys dropped the ball. We went to Ken Garff Volkswagen and received much better service, and a better deal.

This place needs some serious work. Besides being short staffed the entire service department is a hot mess. Services take way longer than a third party shop could do and on top half the services are barely completed. I blame management for being insanely disorganized and causing this potentially awesome dealership to be worse than a Jiffy Lube. Most technicians know what they're doing but this place is not putting forward the effort to train and make these techs better and faster. It's a disgrace to Volkswagen that they're able to operate in such a manner. This place definitely needs better management in the service department or it is going to fail. At this point I would recommend taking your vehicle literally anywhere else to save yourself the headache and overpriced parts and services that they markup since they barely make enough from service to pay their employees. Pathetic. Seriously consider other options before even stepping foot on this premises. Definitely do not recommend this Stealership.

Generally, I really really like this dealership, and had a good experience buying a car, but recently, I had a ridiculous service experience.I purchase a CPO car from your dealership recently and when a side mirror became loose, was told that it is not covered under the warranty because it is a “wearable” part.After that, I was told I would need to pay $700 out of pocket to replace the housing and that your dealership had worked on that exact mirror in the past. The service person even told me that the previous fix was done incorrectly at your store, which led to the current looseness in the mirror.All this said, how one earth is this not covered under the warranty? And if it isn’t, how is it not your responsibility to cover the cost? I purchased the car from you, under 6 months ago and it went through your various checks.. you certified it, and my warranty is good for many more years and miles…If a side mirror is a ‘wearable’ part, what isn’t? By this definition I have no idea what the warranty would possibly cover. After all, an engine is ‘wearable’, a door handle gets used everyday and is ‘wearable’. If the air conditioner suddenly stops working or rattling, you could claim is ‘wore down’ and I guess I’m on my own? Any material on planet earth is ‘wearable’ by this definition..Anyway, just very very unsatisfied and feel like I was manipulated during the buying process into thinking a warranty had any value.. I can 100% guarantee you that if I take my brand new Toyota sienna into the dealership with a loose mirror they will fix it with no questions asked. You need to do better.

The kids room (although needing some repairs) was a lifesaver for us being able to purchase our car. Alder was very attentive and answered all our questions thoroughly. The communication after our purchase, while we were waiting for our new vehicle to be delivered, was also appreciated and occurred at the perfect frequency. And it was easy for us to reach someone if needed. We had a direct line to our sales associate, Alder. The biggest upgrade to the process was how quick the financial process and final document signings took. Much appreciated when kids are in tow.

If You're in the market for a car, buy from literally anyone except VW southtowne.My wife and I recently bought a vehicle from VW Southtowne and it has been a dreadful experience. Firstly the vehicle seemed to be in great condition when we purchased it, but needed to taken in for servicing only 3 weeks after we bought it. We also purchased an extended warranty but they said replacing a battery wouldn't be covered and the warranty disnt even begin until 60 days after purchase. We were told it was serviced a week before we purchased it, it obviously hadn't been. So they said they would fix the throttle plate and replace the battery(charging us out of pocket). This simple service has taken 2 weeks and counting. They have told us over and over that they would call us first thing everyday to provide updates on our vehicles status, but they never do. We have had to call them literally every day to get status updates on the work being done and usually they lie and say something is done when it's not, or they make ridiculous excuses as to why they weren't able to contact us. Even for a car lot these are some of the most dishonest and incompetent people I have ever dealt with. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

What an amazing experience that I have had. Being in a really bad situation with a car and not thinking anything would be able to be done about my current situation due to another dealership. I was SHOCKED at how honest, kind, and understanding Michael C. the salesman was. He literally made the experience great. I’ve never owned a VW before, but I will NEVER go anywhere else ever. If you are nervous of your situation let me say they will make you feel so comfortable. I have bad credit and I was still treated incredible. If you’re looking for an honest, helpful and kind salesman come here and ask for Michael to help you. He’s not pushy, he’s so kind and understanding. You will leave feeling like your time mattered. And happy!

My oldest son and I went to VW SouthTowne one Saturday morning to look at Volkswagen Jetta’s. We were greeted by Michael Cheadle who was very happy to show us around. After about an hour of looking at various options, I had to prematurely, returned home to take care of my youngest disabled son. However, despite this, Michael was very accommodating in continuing to deal with us over the phone. We finally decided on a brand new, black VW Jetta sport, which had not arrived at the dealership. Michael assisted us in working with the finance guys over the phone and at the end of the day he personally drove out to my house to sign paperwork. I was very impressed by the fact that our salesperson would go out of his way to accommodate my needs. Thanks Michael! My son loves his new car ?Don’t choose the “other” guys. Choose VW SouthTowne.! These guys are nice like any other slimy car salesmen but they have absolutely no problem selling you a vehicle they know has catastrophic existing issues. We brought it back days after purchase and we're told sorry should have gotten the warranty. Just be thorough when buying used and don't think your safe just because miles are low. You won't get any help from these guys

Service department is ridiculous. My car has been here over 2 weeks and nobody ever seems to know what is going on! I had my car towed here and am regretting it! Tow your car elsewhere! On top of that they are rude and condescending! Don't waste your time or money!

My car had a check engine light turn on, so I decided to start looking at new cars. We went around to all the dealerships to look at options to think about for the new car. Ethan came out and showed me the Taos. I didn't mind the car, but it was more than I wanted to spend, and honestly I wasn't in love with it. But we decided to go inside and look at numbers. I wasn't excited about it. But figured it would give me another option to look at. Ethan came back and said we had to run a credit application to get numbers. I had all my credit frozen, and didn't have a login on me to unfreeze it. But they decided to try to push it through anyway. I'm unsure of why. While we were waiting for them to pull numbers for me, another guy came in. I didn't catch his name, but I assume he was a manager. He was the pushiest guy I had met at a dealership. And that says a lot. I said again that I was in no way purchasing a car today. And that I was going to do research on all the cars I looked at. But wanted to go around to test drive and see if it was something I could see myself driving. But this guy did not seem to like that answer and told be about the specials that "wouldn't last another day" and the "special apr's". Constant pushing of the monthly payments I could get. Although I wanted a total number NOT a monthly payment. By this point we had been sitting there for over an hour. And we were hungry. We left, and used us going to get dinner to think about it as an excuse to leave. I got a text no less than 10 minutes later asking what time I was coming back to purchase the car. After that, I got several more calls, texts and emails in the coming weeks. But they drew the line after calling my mom, and emailing her. Each time I had told them, I found another car. And that I wasn't going to buy the Taos. Then this last week, I got a letter in the mail stating that I had been denied financing. ( no wonder. My credit was frozen). In the end. I will NEVER recommend this dealership. While Ethan was nice and easy to work with, it is clear that the rest of the people there were not.

Just bought a car from Mike! He is amazing. I'm a young adult that didn't really know what I was doing. He was helping me the entire way. I told him what I wanted, and he didn't even try to give me anything I didn't! We even looked at a car and I was about to turn it down due to space And he said 'i don't think this would work for you!" The manager Travis is also phenomenal! I will be back for my car needs!

David and Michael were great to work with. They got me into a car that I’m super happy with. David took the time to listen to all of my concerns and got me exactly what I was looking for. Mike, the finance manager, got me a really amazing deal and was also great to work with. I couldn’t be happier.
