Express service is nowhere close, 2nd car in line at open and was told it was going to be over 2 hours. I gave this dealership one more try after multiple poor service experiences. Wouldn't suggest this department

Jasna is a great and honest salesperson. She delivered exactly what she promised. Unfortunately I decided to buy locally and I could not complete the deal on my end. Even still Jasna was gracious, professional and very helpful. This is uncommon in the auto world and I look forward to working with her and SouthTowne if the need arises in the future.

OK this is going to be a little long. So I purchased my car on Saturday 9/7/2024. Things were going good. I could not get the car I wanted which was fine. They offered me another one that was used but still new. OK now the crap. So I looked at it and I could not test drive it because I was told that the tech that was working with the car took the keys with him and that he would not be in till about or around 1230. Mind you I was there at 9:06 am. Then they checked and said that the tech should be in about 11-1130. Ok so now I am getting a little irritated and should have left but I didn't. I was stupid for staying. Anyway, I signed all my paperwork by 1230 and guess what no tech yet with the keys. So I thought everything was done except one little thing on the car. Come to find out they still had to do the 200 point safety inspection. So my dad and I were sitting around and it is 2 ish and I got a hold of my sales man and I get told not much longer. Well here we are at 245pm and I was told it would be about another 1.5 hours because they are just starting the detail. So I walked around the building and found my car just sitting there and no detail has been started. Now I am pissed. I checked again about 330 and car is still sitting there. At this point I am about to lose my S**t. I went over to the sales desk to get my keys and I will do the damn detail myself. I also had to put gas in the car because the gas light was on. I left in tears at 425pm because I had been there all damn day and got the run around. I had some questions but I was so mad and upset I did not ask. I was told I could bring it back for a detail at anytime. I said I live in OGDEN. I have never spent 7 hrs at a damn dealership in my life.

I WAS NEVER TOLD MONDAY OR TUESDAY. Not told it still needed inspection. So who you told that to was not me.

Worst Dealer experience I have ever had. People just throw themselves under the bus and don't want to take responsability for their issues. I've been having multiple problems since day 1. They have never fixed my car under waranty. When I brought it for oil changes it got scratched and they were blaming each other and it was never fixed and ended up using other places.. I brought family members and got cars from them and the sales person stole the refferece checks. After all these years I traded the car in with them and they sent a lower amount to pay the loan (lower than it was written down in the contract). They have all these reviews because they ask you to do one the moment you leave with the car from the lot, not knowing what's next. And all this review is specificaly for VW Southtowne, not for VW in general or for VW Credit.

This team at Volkswagon SouthTowne is AMAZING, to say the least.
Their entire team is extremely friendly and HONEST! I get extremely bad anxiety in fear of being taken advantage of, when buying a car.
Bo and his team did an amazing job making the process extremely fun and hassle free.
I have always had a dream of driving a brand new vehicle, and Bo and his team made it happen!
I am now a forever Volkswagon SouthTowne shopper! I will be back! Thanks so much guys!

The service department has reached a level of incompetency that has me moving my service needs to Strong VW. I live a few minutes from SouthTowne, I bought my car here, and I've spent thousands over the years with this service department. They have lost their customer service side and just don't care; 4 or 5 years ago was a very different level of service.
My final effort came when I recently tried to order a new key fob for my Passat; I've been waiting 3 weeks for a part that they said takes 3-5 business days. This location requires you to physically come into the service department, provide proof of ownership, then they will order the keys. After 2 weeks, I called to follow-up with the service technician and they struggled to find my order. After another week of patiently waiting, I called the service manager and had to leave a message. No one will respond. If people lose their fobs, the only real option is to go through a dealership due to the chip requirements. They could care less if I can use my car over the last 3 weeks.

If I could give my experience a 0/5 stars, I would. Brought my car in for a check engine light and was originally given a timeline of 4 hours. After that four hour period of time, I was told that my car was fixed and that I was good to go. I paid for the service and returned to my car to see that the check engine light was still on and nothing had been fixed. I walked back in and told the service rep and they informed me that it would be about four more hours till they were given instruction from Volkswagen as to how to turn the light off. Later that day, I received word that I'd need to leave my car overnight and that they'd work on it again the next day. I was also told that it might be one of two issues and that they could get them fixed because they had the parts available to them, they just needed to figure out which part they needed to change out. My car ended up being in the shop for THREE DAYS. During that time, I called and texted my service rep multiple times asking for an update and received no response as to what was happening with my car. I also called the service manager and left messages at least twice during that time asking for a call back with an update and never received a call. I ended up walking into the dealership and speaking with another service employee who helped me more in 20 minutes than I was helped in a three day period. By the way, the actual issue with the car was not one of the two (expensive) issues told to me by my original service rep. It was actually a very inexpensive and quick fix. I told them that I'd fix it myself, and before I left, I was charged again for the time my car was in the shop even though I had already paid for the original service that was never completed. After finally receiving an answer as to what was wrong with my car, I ended up taking and fixing it myself. It took me about 45 minutes to complete the fix and have my check engine light turn off. The communication, effort, and customer service was horrendous and if you can avoid working with this dealership and their service department, I would highly suggest it.

Jasna was absolutely amazing to work with! She found me looking in the parking lot and instantly connected with me and made me feel comfortable about my situation. She took into consideration everything I was looking for, and went above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced at a dealership. The whole process felt so smooth with her alongside me. Travis was also great and was very personable! What a great experience! I will use VW over and over again!!!
