The mailman who normally delivers my packages got injured so they had to use a sub In His stead. The sub would NOT deliver packages to my mailbox for multiple days. He would mark them as delivered and then just drive away with my stuff. I went to the office to figure out what was wrong and they took down my tracking number and phone number and said they'd get back to me. I went back on 3 different occasions and the same person who helped me out before didn't know what I was talking about and then took my Information to "call me back." They never notified me once. I would HIGHLY advise anyone to go out of your way to make sure nothing expensive or important gets routed through this post office or you run the risk of it never showing up.

Zero stars. The South Jordan post office is never a pleasant experience. Every time I need to call, I get a very curt, and just mean female manager who loves to cut you off in the middle of your sentences and make you feel like dirt. I had a package denied delivery due to a fault at the post office. They switched the sender and receiver names on the label they printed (you can clearly see on the box it was addressed correctly initially, then the post office refused to deliver the box because of this error of not having my name on the package, which I found hilarious because I get the wrong mail in my mail box all the time.
The 1-800 number for the post office is also the worst experience I have ever had on the phone. No help, no real human, just useless.

I would like to give them a better review but when no one was at the counter at approximately 11:40 am for close to ten minutes and then only one person at the counter which led the line to almost go to the door, I would recommend going to a different USPS location. I'm not impressed with this one.

South Jordan USPS is a case study for why the government should cut the postal service. They are genuinely awful and have been for years.Our mail is frequently not delivered. However when the mail is delivered, they often drop it off to random houses. Our neighborhood has a group chat dedicated to locating mail delivered incorrectly.When trying to locate a misplaced package the staff was rude and told me that Amazon would replace it.

USPS lost my holiday package, they claim it was delivered to a parcel locker with tracking that I have no connection too and when I tried to get it corrected I was told they cant find it anymore and I'm outta luck and can only request a refund/replacement from where I placed the order and they will not fix their mistake in any way, even during the process I was told they would call me with an update and got nothing, I had to go in only to be told not their problem anymore...

The automated 800 number to get anything addressed is absolutely befuddling and obnoxiously long. Free advice, never have any mail issue, befall you because trying to get it addressed over the phone is literally impossible. The US Postal Service is kind of a joke right now. Get somebody on the phone that can actually resolve issues at your local post office.

This post office is literally the worst. I have watched our mail lady throw my mail on top of my mail box, and drive off. Drop my mail on the ground, look at it and drive off. She blew threw the neighbors mailbox, the post office must have “forgot” to check the mangled delivery truck for mail because it took 40+ days to receive some business mail. I’ve watch our mail lady blow past our side of the street and just not deliver our mail at all. You might as well plan on 7+ days for local mail to deliver because the 2-3 days for SLC-SLC is unheard of anymore. Give us a freaking break from you lack of competence !!!!!
