All of the sales staff was pushy without providing answers to questions that I wanted without me being pushy back. Overall frustrating experience. Once my specific salesman got on the same page as me the experience was better, but I had to be very strong/short in my responses for him to listen to me initially.
Update 09/2024 - had a faulty trailer wiring unit. There was no communication about how long my vehicle would be at the dealership. What I assumed would be a several hour diagnosis turned into a 36 hour queue for the diagnosis to be completed, and then another 24 hours to complete the repair.
Had I not had an extended warranty that I was fairly certain would cover the cost of the part I would have done the work myself.
As far as I know the work was completed satisfactorily but it was completely unacceptable for my truck to be out of my possession for three full days with zero warning.

Do not recommend for service. Had to have an "oil leak" that was going to start, so should fix it first fixed 3 times. They "fixed" it, only to then have it leaking oil, and then they "fixed" it again, and it was still leaking, and then it finally was fixed. We gave them another chance, because they were nice about it, and cleaned the oil spills mostly up off the cement. Well, arrive for the appointment, and only to be told they don't have the parts. So, reschedule, and finally get it done, only to be told one part that they said needed replaced, this mechanic says no. So, save money? Frustrated to be told it is needing replaced though, and thinking it would cost me over $500. Then, final straw. Made an appointment for a check engine code. Arrive at my scheduled appointment time, only to be told they have too many cars, and they would need my car over the weekend. Like, I can just go 4 days without a car? I will be taking my business somewhere else, as you obviously don't care about my time.

Drove the parking lot plenty of times and no help! Went inside, hoping I would find someone I might’ve had the wrong name, but no one came up to help. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this dealership unfortunately not for me.

Horrible experience working with this car dealership. Tanner, who was helping with the lemon law replacement was very unprofessional and rude. Refused to call me back. Refused to respond to any of my text messages. Not only that, he called me to let me know that he would not earn any money off of a lemon law replacement and asked me if he could do the financial part on his end to “earn some money.” I had high hopes for this dealership, but the ball was dropped several times. Hopefully, they do better in the future.

Purchased a new Chevy Tahoe with my company GM supplier discount. Later came to notice that there was an up charge on the tires and wheels and additional equipment charges that should’ve been already part of the MSRP, but it was obvious that it was tacked on to cancel out the discount I was getting.
It was clear afterwards the dealership was trying to maximize the values in each field to come out to my pre-approved loan amount just to gain a couple extra thousand. Pretty sad when I was considering returning to look at the new 3500’s, but after this I’ll be looking elsewhere.

I came to Riverton Chevrolet in Utah with a strong interest in purchasing an EV. After thorough research and test-driving several EV models across multiple manufacturers, I ultimately decided to go with Chevy. Initially, I was set on purchasing the Chevy Blazer EV, but after speaking with Nick, one of the sales agents, I was convinced to consider the Chevy Equinox EV as well. I was impressed with the car's cost, EV range, and the incentives offered.
Unfortunately, the positive experience quickly turned sour. Within two days of owning the vehicle, I started hearing squeaky noises coming from the front driver and passenger sides of the car. I contacted the dealership, but instead of receiving the support I expected, I was met with rude and sarcastic remarks from the general manager. It was baffling to me that a brand-new car could have issues within days of ownership.
After escalating the matter to the district manager, I was told to bring the car in for inspection. The first time, the service department claimed to have fixed the issue, but the squeaky noises persisted as soon as I drove it on the highway. It took them three tries to resolve the problem, which eventually required someone from corporate to step in. However, even now, I'm hearing similar noises from the back of the vehicle. The service manager initially dismissed my concerns, saying they wouldn't address the issue if the noises weren't present when I brought the car back. Ironically, he later admitted to hearing the noises himself.
On top of this, I experienced trouble gaining access to the OnStar feature, which impacted my internet and navigation system. This was due to the sales agent incorrectly spelling my name and entering my email address wrong. Additionally, I was promised all-weather mats for the front, rear, and trunk, but only received mats for the front and rear sections. Despite multiple follow-ups, I've yet to hear back about the mats for the trunk.
To add to the frustrations, I encountered misinformation regarding the incentives I was eligible for. Initially, I was told that one of the credits wasn't available for my purchase, but after doing more research, I discovered this was incorrect. While the dealership did correct this mistake, it speaks to the larger issue of unprofessionalism at Riverton Chevrolet.
Overall, I strongly discourage anyone from patronizing this dealership. The lack of professionalism, knowledge of EVs, and ability to address mechanical issues is incredibly disappointing. I expected much better from a dealership of this caliber, but instead, I’ve been left with a frustrating and ongoing experience. For these reasons, I will not buy another Chevy once I am done with this car.

Best experience buying ANOTHER vehicle at Riverton Chevy. Nate, my salesman went above and beyond to make sure it was a fast and seamless experience. Taylor was awesome in the finance office and was very transparent and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about at Riverton and recommend the experience to anyone and everyone!

Buying a car from this dealership was smooth, everyone was fantastic to work with, and i feel like I was taken care of. They were able to get me in a brand new 2024 Chevy Trax because my past car unfortunately needed replacement, and everything was fabulous! I pick the car up, some minor cosmetic issues (dent from transit, not ideal but It’s alright) but otherwise, great car! It’s been one year owning this car, and it’s only been in MY possession for 5 months out of the 12. I’ve had to handle some very severe mechanical issues and have had to replace the entire engine at this point, due to improper assembly/major recalls on the engine, and now the air conditioning is out. I just barely hit 10k miles in this car and have had to replace more in the engine compartment than my 11 year old car I had previously. It is very disappointing to see that these are the cars being sold to trusting buyers. Wouldn’t recommend.
