We had an emergency with our senior dachsund. We thought it was going to be the end for her. PetCare was quick to get us in. The nurse and the vet were wonderful and so helpful. They were very good about explaining things to us in a way that eased our worries. Our dog Zoey is still with us and feeling much better. They truly care about the pet more than about upselling with unnecessary expenses. We were so impressed, we've decided to make Dr. Emch our regular vet.

My family recently adopted a dog from the Humane Society and they offered a free wellness check at a participating veterinarian's office. Our usual vet was not on the list, so we opted to check out Petcare Animal Hospital, who was. I appreciate how quickly they were able to get my dog in-only a couple days' notice. I'm not sure if that is normal or if they expedited a new client, but either way it was appreciated. The office was immaculately clean and in good condition. Up front, there's a little store area where you can purchase any number of pet supplies. That will be good to make note of for the future when I need something. We spent the majority of the time with the vet technician, who took a thorough history (as much as we could provide with a new pet) and she helped us retrieve the records from the adoption. The vet came in and did a nose-to-tail checkup, giving a (mostly) clean bill of health. I appreciate the visit and the recommendations they gave and will likely return when the dog needs updated vaccinations or other medical attention.

Great vet, they don't nickel and dime you to death. I was referred here by a friend. I really appreciate how kind and easy going this place is. Would recommend!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. money hungry business !!!!!! i paid over 200$ for my cats ear infection, just for them to shove cream in his ear and tell me they found "bacteria" and it should clear up. NOPE. My cat is STILL in pain, STILL has an ear infection, and when i called back to get a different medication administered considering i had paid them TWO HUNDRED dollars, they had the audacity to want to do ANOTHER vet visit. For what?? The 200$ ear test didn't tell the vet what's wrong? What did i pay them for? for them to just guess what's wrong and oh darn pay us another 200$ since that cream didn't work. Don't they know what's wrong considering they charged me TWO HUNDRED dollars to test his ear? For what??? ALL MY CAT NEEDS IS AN EAR CLEANING. and they wanted to charge me again to "test his ear" AGAIN????? what did the results tell them and why did they charge me 200$??? Is this a guessing game? UNPROFESSIONAL. NOT WORTH IT!!!!

This was a great first experience with them. We transferred from Willow Creek because of their rudeness and always having "hidden charges". Dr. Matheson was great with our dog and was thorough and knowledgeable! We will be going here for now on for all of our pets needs. Appt making was easy and the pricing was very reasonable!

Amazing staff and wonderful doctor. My dog was sick today and they fit us in last minute. We got the antibiotics we needed and I'm so happy they could see us so soon! We will be coming back for sure

My mini poodle had dental work done on April 6 of this year. A mistake was made when removing a tooth. The jaw/gum was perforated during extraction. This lead to an infection that should have been noticed. However, additional to the puncture, they sent the wrong dose for the pain medicine prescribed post extraction. According to the ER Vet where I took him after, the pain medication was more than double, almost triple what was suppose to be administered based on his weight. The infection was caught too late due to the overdose of pain medication. I had to rush him to Medvet ER where I found out all the mistakes that were done at Petcare. I have been focused in my poor little dogs recovery that it's taken months to finally get to a point where my baby is finally almost back to himself. He has lost his vision in one eye and suffered some facial nerve damage due to the massive infection. These complications were caused by this clinic's incompetence. I did reach out to them when all this occurred and all they said was they would check him, but refused to take responsibility or treat him further for the issues they caused without further payment. Even the vets from the Medvet ER reached out to them to inform them of the mistake and still they didn't help. I am so grateful that Medvet ER were able to help and after many treatments and procedures (which Medvet so kindly helped with most of the cost) my dog is doing better. If you value the life of your pet, stay away from this place!

Called here to get an emergency help for the dog with broken tooth. We're told we can be scheduled for a dentist. Waited for 45 minutes to get a doctor. Was not a dentist, but said the tooth should be removed. Asked for $140 for a 2 minute's consultation. Bogus

Do not recommend. I brought my puppy here for vaccinations and was warned about potential side effects and was told to call them if I noticed anything out of the ordinary. Great! Well, our puppy did experience some side effects and I called 3-4 times with no answer and left 2 voicemails and did not receive a call back. Our puppy ended up being okay, but needless to say I finally got ahold of them a week after side effects occurred to cancel my follow up appointment. I will be taking my puppy somewhere else where I can feel confident that I'll be able to get ahold of someone if we have questions/concerns.

My dog got surgery over there about a month ago , after surgery she turned into a different dog . I brought her back over and over because she was panting , drooling , and not eating . Every time I was sent home . I asked them if the rocks in her stomach caused her more damage then what we thought and they said I would have to pay to find out . Wouldn't you think that after you do surgery on an animal for 1300 dollars you would check anyway . I asked over and over for them to figure out what was wrong with her . Instead of actually trying to figure it out I got a handful of different pills for different things . My 8 month old puppy died 2 nights ago . So much for thousands of dollars in vet bills . Maybe you guys will do better with the next dog .

I'm not one to leave reviews, but save your time with this place. The staff (front desk) is rude and unhelpful. I have had several different occurrences with this place that have rubbed me the wrong way. 1. Arrived 5 mins early for my vet appointment. (7:55 am) the front desk staff made me wait outside in 20 degree weather. You couldn't let me and my puppy inside to wait? They clearly saw me standing and did nothing. 2. No help/ interest to help whatsoever with a sick puppy. Always come off as too busy, or unwilling to help. Get it together Petcare. The actual vet isn't the problem here, his staff is.

Not impressed . They said go somewhere else if you don't like it!!! Charging me several exam fees after she had already been examined. Denied my medication for my dog because they wanted her in to collect more money. Charging me for things I had already did at there facility. Not kind or caring either . Very dissatisfied.
