I wish we had taken pictures but it was so delicious we just dug right in. The food was so tasty and the service was great. The portions are generous and the quality is fantastic. We had chicken and beef combos. Everything was great but surprisingly my favorite part of the meal was the tea the owner reccomended. It was SO good and came with a homemade jam that was amazing.

Unpretentious Persian restaurant with excellent healthy quality food for a very reasonable price. The appetizers and kebobs are fantastic. With every main course comes a delicious hot chicken barley soup that hits the spot on a winter day. The grocery stores has tons of authentic Persian pastries and snacks with sophisticated flavors that tease the taste buds. Did I mention the Safran ice-cream? One bit and you are hooked for life!

The market had most things I was looking for. The restaurant is so cute and welcoming as are the owners who run the place. The home-made dough was on point. The rice at most places are mediocre at best but theirs was wonderful! The koobideh is good but I liked the chicken kabob better. Their service is excellent.

It used to be way better than this?...the soup they serve was half and cold, the rice was dry and you could say it was cooked couple hours ago and the tomato served with Kebab was not even grilled...when the manager was told about it, He just denied the whole thing(basically didn't care at all instead of appology) A big Zero for customer service...Never going back there again...Ps. I wrote a whole paragraph and you just pointed at the soup saying nonsense about extra food?, good job and keep showing off with the Big Zero customer service?

I don't often write reviews of restaurants, just being busy or lazy.But everytime I have dinner at Zeitoon I leave the place extremely happy and satisfied. Over 7 years my husband and I, never had a bad meal because the quality is very consistant. We brought many friends to discover "our litte gem" and they were very happy also. The meal starts with a complimentary tomato barley soup (excellent and warming) follows by chicken kebabs with rice and grilled tomato, all very tender. Iranian cuisine is never greasy, never spicy hot, but spicy as tasting rich and just right. We had the meat combination also with great results. Appetizers are very satisfying. If you are looking for good, tasty food serve casually this is the spot for you.. It is our FAVORITE neighborhood restaurant. On the other side of the cafe it has an interesting grocery store where I purchase verytime, feta cheese, spices, Middle Estearn breads and pastries as well as fancy jams suchas Rose petal jam !!! Give a try to Zeitoon family restaurant where the owner, Kia, and his family get great pride in serving you quality food with a personal touch and attention.

Showcasing remarkable options and delightful high-quality Persian cuisine, the proprietor Kiarash, accompanied by his wife Diba and their team, demonstrated exceptional hospitality. Our Persian dining experience ranks as the paramount culinary delight in recent memory, making it the perfect post-skiing indulgence. Already crafting plans for a subsequent visit, the fusion of a day immersed in skiing followed by exquisite kabobs at Zeitoon for Après ski is a tradition we eagerly anticipate continuing.

This type of food is my wife’s favorite, so she is very critical. Needless to say, wee both thought the food was delicious. I had the chicken kabob with rice and grilled tomato. The chicken was tender and melted in my mouth. My wife had the lamb and opted for bread as opposed to rice. You better be hungry if you order the bread option as it was huge. The lamb was as tender as the chicken, amazing. We both had a barley soup, as an appetizer, that was not listed on the menu and was a pleasant surprise we the hostest brought it. Yum!The owner check on us during the meal to make sure everything was perfect, nice touch. The menu is very simple so it allows them to focus on quality.
