I always find the best gifts and games here for my kids and their friends. It’s just the coolest stuff. I’m an online shopper, typically, but if I want inspiration and quality items I head to Red Balloon.

I'm so disappointed in the customer service here. The last time I was in the store I bought a lot of toys for friends' birthday parties because I love the store in Salt Lake and wanted to support local. It was so crazy and disorganized that I came back to get the gifts wrapped. I waited ANOTHER 30 minutes just to be told that they don't do gift wrapping on certain days. There were no signs out saying this, and I could have avoided wasting an hour of my day.... I understand that everyone who works there is very young, I just think that putting up signs to let customers know about things like that goes a really long way. Does anyone know of other stores that do gift wrapping?

Love this toy store so much! Such a fun variety of items for all ages. My go-to place for birthday gifts - they always have the best selection.

Good you selection and the store is well stocked and clean. The free gist wrap is a great bonus, but we watched the workers chit chat while they slowly wrapped our presents (there were no other presents waiting to be wrapped) for 15+ minutes. Maybe it’s a tactic to sell more toys? It is convenient, but hard to watch workers have no sense of urgency.

Well maintained store and friendly staff. My children love to browse the selection. Best place to get calico critters. They also tend to have some discontinued Legos for sale.

I recommend avoiding this place. They don't take returns if a box has been opened and get offended when you ask why. Also last time I bought something here I found out that the same item was 33% cheaper at other places.

Had a very unprofessional experience today with your staff yelling at my 75 year old mother and six year old son. We come every week. I look forward to the owner reaching out to me.

Amazing, LOCAL toy store! Oh, they have my heart! Really high quality brands, lots of games, we will definitely be going and supporting this business. And the location is *so* fun, tons of stuff for kids around - you could easily spend a whole day in this shopping area (we did!)

***they do not accept returns on opened items unless defective*** Maybe I should have read the fine print. But almost all places now a days accept returns of all kinds if you're unsatisfied with the product. This is a good store to get ideas for toys. But that's where it ends. We spent a lot of money on a marble run. As we were setting it up, the pieces didn't snap together and created frustration in us adults, I can't imagine the frustration a child would experience! (It's not defective, just a terrible design). We wanted to return it but they don't except returns on open items. I can understand this policy for crayons/sensory items. But a very expensive toy that doesn't provide the experience we were hoping for? It should be returnable. If you're going to fork up a lot of money, come here to check it out, then buy it on Amazon/another place that accepts returns.
