Good products but absolutely terrible customer service.

Truthfully I was pretty shocked by how I was treated here. When I went to order and pick up a paint match everyone was perfectly pleasant. When I went back to say that the match wasn’t going to work however I was treated like a complete idiot. I’ll attach the photos below and public opinion can tell me if I was wrong or not.
Unfortunately the paint match was made for spray cans, so the fact that it didn’t match meant the whole order was garbage. So it definitely was a bummer on everyone’s part. Doesn’t change the fact that it didn’t match though. The store manager treated me like I was an idiot, made very clear from his tone, body language, that I was a massive inconvenience, then told me they’d work on it.
I left and didn’t hear anything for over a week. After calling in he had apparently left on vacation and hadn’t informed anyone about my order. So someone else made a match that looked great, I went in the following day to grab the order. The female associate who had made the match went back to the back room where the store manager who had “helped” me before was.
The frosting on the cake was what I heard in the back room, which was him asking if I was there to pick up the paint. After his associate confirmed it was me and asked if she was to just give me the paint, he said, “yep, and tell him to never come back here again.”
I’m sure it was intended for her ears only, but it was just added confirmation that he clearly still thought I was an idiot and in the wrong. Which again, I’ll leave it up to public opinion based on the photos below.
I don’t really care if mistakes are made, happens all the time. But how they are resolved makes the biggest difference to me. Needless to say, I’m more than happy to abide by his request and “never come back again.”

went in and talked to a salesman named Cody, he walked me through how to use the product I was buying, and how the product works best.he helped me get the right parts in the right rollers etc that I needed to complete the job I would Recommend them to anyone!

There are two kinds of Sherwin-Williams paint stores: commercial and regular retail. This is a commercial one, and know what? I'm all about it. I far prefer this no nonsense commercial approach and don't need or want all of the fancy displays or literature. I just need a can of paint.There are drawbacks, of course, to the commercial stores. Mostly it's about selection and sizing. They may not sell what you want in the 1-gallon, or they may not have every grade of paint. They may also have the commercial grade that the retail stores do not, so I guess it goes both ways.Mostly, though, I've only ever had really excellent service here at this commercial location. I came at first meeting with someone to design a project, and they were able to answer a ton of questions and find the right grade, color, and finish of paint that worked for my application. You know you're adulting pretty hard when you have a strong opinion on retail v commercial paint stores, but here we are and I'm certainly not the only one who feels this way.

The sales staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the product. But I was especially sold when I spilled more than 1/2 a can of paint in the parking lot and they cheerfully cleaned it up, and made me feel okay about making such a d*** mistake. Thanks!
