Austin was incredible. Sears provided horrible service. I contacted sears as many ways as I could and was assured my fridge would be repaired on the date I scheduled it. Turns out no repair was scheduled and I had to wait theee extra days for my fridge to get fixed. I was so disappointed that there was such a horrible job done by the sears system.I was assured by multiple contacts that my repair would happen and it never did.It wasn’t until I called my original tech, Austin, that anything changed.Honestly I should have gotten this job done for free. The service was non existent.Austin is the only one who actually helped me.Total fail on the part of sears.I do still want my money back.Horrible service to tell me my fridge would be repaired for three days in a row with no intention of sending a repair man.Going without a fridge for two weeks was ridiculous.

This rating is not for Melissa H. but rather for Sears and their unforgivagle lack of a system that shows what the last technician did. I find it unbelievable that Sears doesn't have a system that documents everything a technician does, so that in a case like mine, where the appliance was making the same noises within 24 hours, another technician can easily see what was done, and thereby develop a new plan of attack to solve the problem. In stead, Sears left a new technician with no tools to work with, and they made me a very angry customer.

I never received information of when he was arriving until the morning of the appointment. Your website states you will get an estimate of the arrival time the night before and I didn’t. Plus you have an automated phone system so I couldn’t talk to anyone. This isn’t Austin’s fault. It is your systems updating people of their appointment and an 8 to 5pm window isn’t acceptable. Austin was good, although I didn’t appreciate him walking around with his shoes in our home. We have a lot of ducks in the area with much waste on the sidewalks. I would appreciate repair people to wear the booties over their shoes or remove them.

Austin was training a new man, Gene. Gene was courteous and professional, but it was Austin’s experience that resolved our problem. I’m really glad we had someone who knew what he was doing!Follow-up - The original diagnosis did not fix the problem. This time Gene came by himself and correctly diagnosed it. Today when the part arrived he installed it. Hopefully this will fix the issue.
