Over a year and a half ago, I started a flooring project with Lowes. The pictures below are the installation I'm left with. The stair nose does not match the flooring in color.
I didn't check the color match on the stairs nose when planning the project with Lowes as I expected the product they used would match in color. Unfortunately, this means I am left out over $10,000 in project costs and have stairs that look bad.
Since the installation I've attempted to work with Lowes to resolve the issue for over a year and a half before writing this review. We got to the point of finding a replacement product, but employees have not been able to initiate any work on their own in regards to this project. Any work so far has been from repeated and exhaustive asking on my part. I don't know if people are just unable to track a task to completion or they are deliberately forgetful. It feels like I've been given the run around for a very long time now.
The original employee in charge of the project is no longer employed with Lowes and when I returned the extra materials after the project was originally finished(Still with the stair nose color issues), the refund was unable to be issued to the original payment method and the store had to do a cash refund totaling over $3000. The whole process has felt very questionable and there seems to be underlying mismanagement and shady financial transaction management at the Sandy Lowes. I can't recommend anyone use them for any sort of project after my experience.

After leaving Lowes competitor in frustration, we drove further to Lowe’s to purchase a large lumber order. When we walked in, we were met by Lori and Carly who immediately found Sean. Together they helped us load $1,000 worth of lumber just before closing time. They were so friendly and exceptionally helpful - going far beyond standard customer service or what was required. Because of their outstanding help and excellent customer service, we will be back and all of our business will go to Lowe’s. Thank you Lowes for having such great people at your store!

Best customer service ever!!!
Paul was wonderful helped us purchase a fridge and washer/dryer. Super quick and efficient.
Shayne was amazing!!! Helped us with blinds. I love that everyone was so knowledgeable and kind.
Lowe's is my new favorite home store!!!

I have been a steady customer of Lowes since I moved here 10 years ago. I wish every store I visited was like this one - it's clean, well laid out,.the sales associates are helpful. I couldn't ask for more. I also love how Lowes shows interest and compassion in community projects. Thank you Lowe's!

Clean. Dog friendly. The staff members, especially a smart young guy named Sean; make this go to Lows in the Salt lake Valley.
Stay away from Lowe’s on 45th S. 469 W.
Karen is not only working every register but is apparently on the hiring board.

We're doing the railings around our deck stairs and it's been a crazy DUI project. David in your lumber department is the most helpful and patient guy we have ever found! What a treasure! We hope this is our last trip???
Mary was so helpful in getting us signed up for a new Lowe's rewards, also.

That is the place I go when I need something for the household and they costumers service is 100%great they are always ready to help and they don't know they take and walk you to the person who can help you.

I used their curbside pickup for the first time today. Ordered online this morning and a couple hours it was ready. Got there and literally within a minute of checking in (I literally timed it) they had my stuff out to me. Super impressed! Thanks guys!!

I was there with so many questions, and three employees helped as if there was no tomorrow. Thank you, guys! But it's unfortunate that we have to do a survey so high-ranking people can see how good the customer service skills of some employees are.

Tyler last night was amazing! Had a portable table top pit boss that was defaulty. Had to return it and get a brand new one. Was probably not even in the store probably 15 minutes if that. Asked to se did he could lay eyes on the product I needed and ask if he could find someone to pull to for me. He was your helpful and very friendly.

Bad experience here. Got a dishwasher and bought an install with it. Never got a call within the 48 hours. Talked on their chat the lady said the store would call me in 24 hours. Never got a call. Went on the app and it said it was scheduled for a random day. Called the number on their to get it moved to a day that would work. The lady canceled it and said someone would call me within the next 48 hours to schedule. But they don’t work weekends. So now I’m out a week trying to get this scheduled. Pointless. Went in to cancel the install because clearly it will never happen. Don’t worry I got nothing for the week I waisted trying to get a hold of someone about it. Would have gone somewhere else but I had a 50 dollar gift card I wanted to use. I’ll be going to Home Depot for the rest of my things.

This has to be the biggest Lowes I have ever seen! It has such an amazing selection of wood, hardware, and plants. We built a fence and gate in a weekend with what we purchased from Lowes, we uses black wire fencing, and the fence disappears. See attached photos. The only issue is that there were no carts in the garden center, and the cashier was pretty snippy with an older lady. I followed the lady out and helped her find a cart. That's the reason for 4 stars.

Manager Evan was very professional in handling our issue today. We have been patrons of this location for years and have continued to shop here because they have friendly customer service. We experienced our first negative experience this week, but Evan was sure to make it right. Thanks for having a great customer support team that will make us want to come back.

Order here all the time. Compared to the “Orange guys” the employees are better here. However.. . . Lowe’s online chat support in every way is terrible in comparison. Call them or go in person, they do exceedingly well. The chat software tho is like ‘97

Been shopping here for years. Typically a great experience but when I ordered windows from millwork it took forever (literally!). If I was a contractor waiting months I would be out of business.
