We have a ring we bought through Kay five years ago with the lifetime warranty. After some minor damage we had it fixed about a year ago. Since then we've had to fix it 7 additional times. When we went in to speak to a manager he told me that rings just eventually break down and you can't fix them, comparing the gold ring to a washing machine. Several other analogies were used similarly idiotic. He offered to have it evaluated for a credit which would use up our warranty. We told him we would think about it and to send it in again to be fixed. He decided to get it evaluated for replacement instead. It was frustrating but we told him please just fix it. Come to find out now that it's been evaluated as needing to be replaced they won't fix it anymore at the repair shop. So the manager here neglected to tell us that, didn't listen to what we actually wanted, and tried to treat us like we were dumb and didn't understand that the lifetime warranty isn't really for life.

My fiancé and I have had great experiences with KAY Jewelers in Jordan Landing. Whit is awesome. He helped us with our engagement rings and has provided excellent service throughout the entire process (selection, sizing, engraving, and inspections). We will be sticking with KAY for our entire wedding process and thereafter.

Recently I took my Swiss Army watch to have the battery replaced at a business the shall remain nameless. Unfortunately they were able to take the back of the watch off, but were unable to put the back of the watch back on. As compensation, they gave me the new battery they were going to put in watch. I don’t need to say that without a secure back, the watch is not very useful. Fortunately with the battery in the watch, it did still function.Fortunately, after purchasing a very good milkshake from a business which also shall remain nameless, I took a different route home. I saw there was a Kay Jewelers at Jordan Landing. I went home to get my watch to see if they could reattach the back of watch.Good fortune struck again when I walked in, and met an incredibly nice individual named Wick (that is most likely spelled incorrectly), and his sidekick Zach who was hard at work.Wick gave me incredible analysis of my particular watch, and how the backs can get bowed if someone attempts to reattach them incorrectly. Wick worked tirelessly on getting the back of my watch put back on, relying on an unusual method not generally known. Wick, miraculously got the back of my watch securely fastened, and Zach spoke up (still hard at work) that he heard a click, meaning the back was secured. I have to say, extremely excellent work by Wick. Especially since it looked to me there may have been some metal damage to the mating surfaces. My qualifications having worked on the manufacturing side in the aerospace industry. I can pretty much say for certainty, that the vast majority of other individuals doing this type of work would have given up long beforehand.In closing I would just like to say that Wick is a great individual all around. Incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and extremely focused. If I were to ever need to purchase jewellery, or need expertise on watch/jewellery repair, Wick is the man to see. I hope the Kay Jewelers home office know what an outstanding employee they have in Wick.
