I had a great massage therapist who worked the areas that I didn't even know I needed worked on. Everyone is very professional and kind and I love going there every month. The membership is a great deal.

Great experience - they made it very comfortable for someone who does not regularly get massages.

It’s interesting to me that Jesus “touched” people to heal them. Matthew did pretty much the same thing for me today. Thanks Matthew!

This was my first full body massage and my massage therapist, Bella, couldn’t have made me feel more comfortable or relaxed. She was an absolute delight and really focused on the parts of my body that needed the most attention. I never felt uncomfortable or nervous and I’m so grateful for that. Will definitely be returning!

I went back and forth on writing this- because ultimately the massage therapist just did her job. However, it started Monday when I called (south jordan) to schedule. I was given an appt for Tuesday. Tuesday around 11, I was called and told my massage was cancelled due to staff call out. They told me they had availability with males or Wednesday at Sandy with females. The scheduling staff asked the depth I prefer, and I answered medium, they ensured they had a therapist for me. I went in in hopes to just relax and have a great medium depth massage, this was not the case. Initially she did an okay depth, but and asked how it felt- to which I answered, but never did she check in again. It felt as though she just rubbed lotion on my skin for 90 minutes.
The therapist was kind, but it wasn’t what I expected or asked for or should have been charged for. I am overly frustrated at what I paid for, and then what I received, as well as going to a completely different location because I was told I would be in good hands.

Over the past couple months I had two separate alarming experiences with Elements Massage, one here at Sandy, and one in Cottonwood Heights. Here I will describe only the experience I had with Sandy location. I was greeted by a young male therapist whose name I can't remember. I will edit this to add his name when I find that out because I feel the need to warn you not to go to him, especially if you are a woman. I requested a deep tissue massage and for the first 20 minutes my therapist used only one hand, extremely light pressure, and barely moved at all. He was touching my body lightly with one hand and I could hear him shuffling his other hand doing something else. It sounded like he was shaking his hand around or something and it was really disconcerting. I felt confused and unsafe with him. I asked him if he was ok and the shuffling sound immediately stopped. I asked him to increase pressure and he went from a level one pressure to a level beyond what I would consider deep tissue. It was painful in a way that felt it was going against the grain of my muscles as if he were not trained in how to open up the muscles through deep tissue, instead making my body tense up against his movements. Although I was in pain I could see that he was not going to be able to find a balanced approach so I decided I would rather endure the extreme pressure rather than hardly any pressure at all. So I encouraged him by saying "this feels better". Then he said "I'm enjoying myself too". I felt horrified when he said he was enjoying himself and I froze, not knowing what to say or do since I have PTSD due to a history of being sexually assaulted. All of this being said, I am very concerned with the two people Elements has hired who have mistreated me. Whoever this male therapist was who made this sexual comment to me needs to be reprimanded and I don't think he should be allowed to practice.

I had a massage with Bella and she was hear what I said I needed and she made recommendations on things she thought she should add. Her pressure was strong and firm. Thanks Bella for making my neck, shoulders and glutes feel so much better.
