“This is by far the best dollar tree I've been to in the whole salt lake valley. Went in for plastic wrap, and to grab a few items. What I encountered was an excellently run store.
There were employees being trained on balloon inflation, and string attachment, and several employees working on stocking shelves. The main problem with most dollar trees are unorganized shelves, or shelves with no product. It was refreshing to see a store that was well stocked with everything I needed (and more)
When I was looking at ramen noodles I asked an employee (Charles I believe) if he had ever had the new tonkatsu ramen. He hadn't but said that he made a cobbler with some canned cherries and brownie mix recently. I got those cherries and brownie mix and made it. It was fantastic!
The store was busy, and kinda hectic due to the amount of people. I believe that is a testament to the quality of this store, even the checkout process was quick. Several customers in front of me with full carts and two cashiers. I only had to wait a couple minutes. I failed to get my cashier's name, but she was pleasant and deserved a shout-out!”
“This location usually has a wide selection. Employee that attended me was friendly. But would like to see better customers service. With shorting the lines in a timely manner. Not just in this location, but all Dollar Trees. On this day some customers left their purchase, because of this. A third employee thought two could handle it. She could have been a great help. For those two employees, "GREAT JOB".”
“I've been shopping here a long time. In the past its been dirty. The last 3 weeks not only has it turned around in cleanliness....I have been greeted friendly at the door. I am glad they got more help at the registers at night.i don't have to wait in long lines any more. Love the selections!!!”

“It is pretty good in my opinion. It is not dirty, and the people working there is nice to! It's just most of the time when I go there I don't get a greeting but I never take offense to that because I know they might be working hard so I understand, and they just might not have enough time to say hi or something.”

“I have worked at this location for 4 years and I’ve outlived several managers and many, many other employees. I think our store now is the cleanest it’s ever been, and so much better stocked. Our manager Johnny is great, as long as you are working and not on your phone for you whole shift, put your phone away, you’re not being paid to text on your phone. Come visit our store.”

“I went in for men's hair dye and they had my colour as usual. I usually go to another location but they do not carry men's hair dye. A great savings! I also get my candles and rubbing alcohol and peroxide. They have big bottles.”
“While this store is usually a cluttered dumpster fire when it comes to organization it is exactly what it addresses! Cheap fun deals and perfect for seasonal decor and birthday/ events. I personally love the balloons! Can't recommend them enough! Who gets molar balloons for $1.25? Best deal in town. Sometimes this store carries crazy low prices on brands that are double that n the grocery stores so it's always worth a look!”

“2022: This store is closest to my house so I usually come here but it’s really frustrating they are always closing the store even in the middle of the day. I’d rather go the extra distance and shop at a different family dollar. I will add the manager and 1 other male staff are really cool other then that pretty disappointed at this location
2023: Almost everything you find here is priced wrong. I double check the signs to make sure they match the product I want. Bring it up to the register and it’s $5 to $10 more than was marked. And they won’t honor the prices marked. They’ve been using the same excuses for months now, “the store probably had a reset and no one’s got around to changing price tags.” Or recently “Because of the remodel everything is mixed around.”
The family dollar or 3100s just from the street is so much better!
2024: My review has completely changed! They did a remodel a while back and it has made a huge difference. Also, Dennis the manager is so nice! He’s really good at making sure I feel respected and heard! I’m so happy this place has changed for the better because it seriously is 2 minutes from my house and I shop here almost every day sometimes even multiple times a day!”
“This Family Dollar always has everything one might need, all in one place. I run in and get bathroom tissue, sometimes some shampoo or bath soap. They have bathroom accessories(shower curtains and bath mats, etc) as well as inexpensive comforters and so forth. I love a few of the items that they carry. I hope that they are always at this location....because they are very accessible for me and my family. This store is great to run in and get cereal, some canned goods, they also have a frozen foods section. Either way...I love that the store is just the right size for someone with arthritis that can be problematic at times...it has good prices that are competitively priced with surrounding stores, and the employees are always nice. All in all-- great little location....never overwhelmed or too busy. It is a little gem in the middle of the city.”
