The place is very clean and tidy, the service is very good except for the membership service. I paid my membership and went to pick up my card the same day, the person who helped me was super friendly and efficient, the next day we went to pick up my husband's card. So we arrived and they took care of us immediately, the lady told my husband that my payment for the membership purchase had not passed, strange because I had my membership card already printed from the day before and according to the policies I have the right 2 cards, one for the membership holder (me) and the other for another person (my husband). We explained and even so the manager was a little strange with my husband. So I better told him that we should go buy some things at the store and when we left I told him that we should try again and sure enough, another person helped us and was very friendly and immediately gave the card to my husband. It was our second time in this store and it was not one of the best experiences but I would still return for the location

I have been a Costco member for years. I just popped in to the Sandy, UT store to grab 1 container of yogurt. My membership just BARELY lapsed about a week ago and the store management would not let me get just 1 thing. I explained i was getting paid this Fri and they still would not let me. After so many years of loyalty and this is how they treat me? I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy about even renewing now. Nope

Man and Lady at door were very rude to me yelling at me for forgetting to bring my card and when i asked if i could provide a picture of it they yelled some more and told me to leave not a very good experience

The worst Costco we’ve lived near. I’ll be canceling our membership. Today I watched the door staff harass a man WITH A MEMBERSHIP card for going in the wrong door. He was trying to use the restroom he politely showed his card and they tried to make him go around he pointed to the restroom. This wouldn’t be a problem going in the entrance to access the restroom and the food court if between EVERY SINGLE register wasn’t blocked siphoning lots of people through the self checkout. Each time I’ve been the registers are understaffed and they’re trying to force self checkout use. All of this aside I would rate them this low for solely the lack of manners and respect the employees show customers.
Normally from what we’ve experienced the employees are a gracing piece of Costco making it worth the membership price for cleanliness and a staff a notch about the rest. The Sandy Costco is in fact the opposite.
Part of the problem is it being too busy constantly. I’m sure this area could use another Costco or more staff.
I’ve gone 5+ times since moving and each time the experience is the same. Watching the man get harassed today sent me to writing this review. Manners of the employees regardless of other factors NEEDS improvement.

It appears that I am having a more positive experience with this location. The employees are demonstrating a high level of friendliness and professionalism. The returns staff, in particular, is providing excellent service.

Always get good quality food. I recommend their vitamin brand. I've used it for years and it's very effective. The employees as busy as they are are cordial.

Other than spending no less than $300 just by walking in the door, this place is great! It’s always selling new and innovative items. They have bulk food to purchase while also balancing their own brand of fresh meals.
