I found West Lake Animal Hospital after moving to Salt Lake City with my 17-year-old dog and sadly needed to find a vet when it was his time. The care and concern West Lake offered (especially the client care specialists [thank you for the support, Jenn!] and vet techs) for a dog and person they hadn't known before still brings tears to my eyes 6 months later.
Since then, we've rescued two cats and they were able to see one who came home with worms on short notice to help us take care of that. As before, the service was outstanding and services were affordable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, especially someone with a challenging pet who needs an understanding group of folks. They also have a separate entrance and waiting room for dogs and cats, which is so nice for reactive or easily stressed animals.

I have used other animal hospitals in the past and when I finally found West Lake Animal Hospital years ago I would NEVER go anywhere else. They have taken care of my last 5 animals and my current Oreo. Staff is so friendly, caring, and show the love, care, and concern you do too for your animal. Vets are sharp, and always diagnosed correctly when my furry friends have needed assistance in their sicknesses or overall health. If you are looking for a wonderful experience, use West Lake Animal Hospital. They are truly the best and you won't be dissatisfied.

I recently had to change vets due to my last one closing down. I took two of my pets so far, one kitten and one pup. We had such a great experience. Everyone was so kind and patient, there are two separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, which is nice!

The staff at West Lake Animal Hospital are extremely accommodating and friendly. They are very effective at calming our dog. Our dog becomes quite anxious upon entering the facility, but by the time we leave, he has calmed down and is friendly.
