This Walmart supercenter is poppin. It has everything you need from groceries, clothing, home supplies, garden supplies, in the winter, winter time supplies. Literally everything you can think of. In the summertime with our garden section is pretty plentiful and we come here to swap out our propane tanks. The staff have always been very nice and helpful and anytime we come in we always find what we need.

Worst absolute Walmart I've ever been to!!! The customer service is so so bad. They have an employee by the name of Anna with curly hair that is absolutely rude and should not be working in costumer service!!!!!

Wish I could leave a zero. False and inconsistent advertising then not honoring the price. Found a toy a Rollback sale- 3 toys on the sale price rack. Got to check out was told it was full price. When I had the associate go with me to the rack, he pushed the toys back and said they were all moved to the sell rack. I told him I think he should honor the sale price because there is more than one on the rack showing the price. He said he had to talk to a manager took forever then he came back and said he couldn't but he give me 10%. Then he left me and a store manager named Dawn came over and said no to the discount and the sale price. She scolded that associate for trying to give me a discount in front of me and argued with me, and embarrass me. She finally agreed to the discount, but it took forever for them to come back, so I just paid the full price, when I left, I told her I paid the full price it wasn't about the discount it was about the integrity. Big stores need to remember our money is supporting them, and customer service is important even at Walmart.

I really wish that I could leave a zero star evaluation on my Walmart experience today at this particular store. On September 29, 2022, I purchased a compact refrigerator using the online web site. The Walmart store on Parleys Way was supposed to deliver the refrigerator to my home only blocks away, by the next morning. Instead of a delivery, I received a phone call from Sophie. She stated that the refrigerator that they had at the store could not be sent to me, as they had discovered a dent in the side of the refrigerator. I asked if they had another one in stock. She said that they did not. At that point, I requested a cancellation of my order and complete refund. A couple of days later, I received notification that the refrigerator had been delivered, which it had not! The full charges for the refrigerator were showing as a pending charge on my credit card. I immediately went to the Walmart on Parleys Way to speak with Sophie. I did not receive this refrigerator, and I wanted this order canceled! I wanted a complete refund! After a lot of debating, Sophie made a phone call to someone. It was agreed that I would receive a full refund. I received an email affirming my refund. That was until I checked my credit card this morning. This is when I found yet another charge on my credit card in connection with this transaction! There is a lovely $10.00 charge as a tip to the driver who did not deliver my refrigerator! So. Back over to Walmart to speak yet one more time with Sophie. It was clear that she did not want to deal with this. However, she got back on the phone to call whoever she spoke with in the other contested transaction. They refused to remove the charge of $10.00 for a tip to a driver that did NOT deliver a refrigerator to my home! A tip that I did not even agree to! I will be reporting this transaction as fraud to my credit card issuer. My advice: DO NOT DEAL WITH ONLINE ORDERS WITH THE WALMART ON PARLEYS WAY IN SALT LAKE CITY UTAH!!!

Just when I thought Walmart on Parleys Way was as bad as it could get, including failure to restock, escalating prices, one check stand open with dozens of customers lined up, etc., a recent visit changed my mind. Several days ago I got in line at the only check stand open (as usual) manned by a young man apparently in his twenties, who was helping an elderly man in front of me in line. The young cashier began making rather insolent remarks about which of his two customers was older, which obviously bothered the man in front of me, who hurriedly gathered up his order and left. When I stepped forward, the insolent young punk continued his coarse remarks about my age (I am 81) and said, "Before I put your groceries in the bags, you need to give me a $20 tip." I tried hard to ignore his remarks until he persisted in threatening not to bag my groceries until I gave him the tip. Finally I said, "I will give you a tip; never shop at Walmart's. The customer service is not what it used to be," to which a young blond lady, gathering garbage from the check stand, smiled. "So you are not going to give me a $20 tip?" he asked, to which I replied "No!" Just then an apparent friend of his, about his same age and of the same ethnicity, approached and engaged him in conversation in what sounded like Arabic. They conversed for more than five minutes, totally ignoring me and my loose groceries lying on the counter, when at last another cashier reminded him of his break, and he quickly dumped my groceries into the bags and handed me my change, with a final reminder: "The next time you come in, remember you owe me a $20 tip!" Such insolence should not be tolerated, so I attempted to call the store manager, "Dawn," when I got home. I placed more than a dozen calls to the store number and each time it rang and rang and no one answered. After waiting for an extended period of time the phone went to a busy signal. Having wasted half an hour or more trying to get someone to answer, I instead called the Walmart Pharmacy (they generally answer because of medical needs) and asked them to transfer me to the manager's phone. The transfer was made and the phone rang for more than ten minutes and then went dead. Why won't Walmart employees answer the phone? My only other option is Yelp, where I hope this experience will inform others of the many vicissitudes of shopping at Walmart.

I got the call that my photos were ready 3 months after I placed the order. Then when I went to pick them up, they couldn’t find them. They didn’t reprint them or give me a refund so now I still don’t have my photos and wasted my money.

Again, don't normally review these, but this is the closest one to me and by far the nicest and best kept up. Selection varies pretty wildly and they're out of stuff a lot, but they do a good job keeping up with the masks and the store is generally clean. It's a Wal-Mart, so expectations should be tempered prior to going in and they did make the move to alleviate the one issue they had, which was slow checkers, by adding in a number of self-checkout lanes, for when you pop in just to get a rake or hose or whatever and then back out...

Decided to try Walmart's online order and pickup option on a single item today (since the website indicated there were only 2 left in the store and I had to have it today). Let's just say the folks at the red bullseye store down the street are a little more efficient at this form of customer service. Despite my post-pickup email well-wishes for a "quick and easy" experience, it was anything but. My wife and I did a little shopping when we entered the store, and while she waited in the checkout line behind another patron I headed over to Customer Service to pick up my online purchase, where the Walmart employee directed me to a kiosk not more than 10 paces away. I quickly entered my order number and saw my name pop up on an overhead TV confirming to me and all the other Walmart shoppers that I was "checked in" . . . and then the waiting began. After 14 minutes of being stared at by the customer service worker that first helped me, she walked over to the kiosk and asked for the name my order was under--as if my name in bright lights up on the Jumbotron wasn't enough of a clue. So, I gave her my name and she chased down another employee who chased down another employee who went off to find my order--apparently those handy lockers in the online order pickup area are just for looks. All told it took 22 minutes from the time of my check-in to receive my online order, by which time my wife was checked out, left the store, unloaded the shopping cart, rolled it to a cart return corral and was waiting for me in the car. Honestly, it would have been much "quicker and easier" to just buy the item in the store and skip the online pickup hassle. Lesson learned.

Beware of higher prices at the checkout! The advertised price wasn't the same and because of the rigamarole of customer service, it wasn't worth my time to try to fix it.

It is pretty frustrating that there is a city-wide ordinance that masks are required to enter businesses and not only is this particular Walmart not enforcing it, 80% of their employees aren't wearing their masks or are wearing them below their noses.

Absolute garbage of a place. Worst experience ever, I do not recommend anyone with at least one ounce of self respect and self worth to shop here. A truly horrible business. If I could give zero stars, I would. I mean it has walls and shelves and horrible quality produce, that's all I can say. I would honestly rather shop from a sketchy van on the highway than this corporation that has nothing good to offer to society and explota their workers.

For starters, it's Walmart-- so you can't expect much. But the (lack of) service or knowledge on how to do ANYTHING or help you with returns really makes this location stand out. I've had numerous problems with simple returns or exchanges and most recently, TRYING to buy a fishing license. (which never ended up happening because there was no one knowledgeable enough at the store to know how to get into the system. Whatever that is supposed to mean).

The best Walmart in the country here. This location has amped up their staff. Usually I see people on the floor in nearly every other isle, which is very helpful with how huge Walmarts are. I love that I can get my groceries (the produce here is great) and a freaking car cover all in one trip. It is so efficient. Great prices, very clean, and helpful staff at the Grocery Pick-up/cash deposit/return area. I have used Walmart delivery a few times here and I had great success. Oh! And enjoy $10 off your first order from Walmart Grocery using my link: Woo! Go Walmart!

It's Not like a normal Walmart. When we were going to check out there was no price on the thing than we asked a man and said if there is no price it's on clearance if a bad attitude and we said we didn't want it he said really like making us to buy it but we didn't and his vibe was saying get out but overall I liked the store but not the staff
