DO NOT GO TO THE LAYTON PHARMACY! AND OR DONT WASTE YOUR TIME USING SAME-DAY DELIVERY FOR YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS. SUNDAY I WENT ON WALGREENS APP AND DID SAME-DAY DELIVERY. IT SAID FOR IT TO BE DELIVERED NO LATER THAN 4PM. AFTER 4PM, I CALLED AND SPOKE TO CHI. SHE SAID SHE KNEW NOTHING AND FOR ME TO CALL FED-EX? WELL ITS SUNDAY AND FEDEX IS CLOSED? I ASKED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE WHO KNEW OF THE SAME DAY DELIVERY SERVICE. SHE GETS ON THE PHONE AND SAYS THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. SO I OFFER TOCOME PICK UP THE PRESCRIPTIONS SINCE I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR THEM AND SHE SAYS NO WE WONT ALLOW YOU TO DO THAT. SO SHE CANCELED IT ON WALGREENS SIDE AND SHE SAID IN ORDER FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY PRESCRIPTIONS I WOULD NEED TO CANCEL IT ON THE APP AND THEN REPURCHASE? EVEN THOUGH I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR THEM. SO NOW I WAS GOING TO BE OUT THE MONEY TWICE? I SAID THIS DOESNT SOUND RIGHT, MAYBE YOU AS EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE TRAINED ON THE APP. SHE RESPONDED WITH WELL THAT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE. IT’S REALLY SAD AS CONSUMERS TO BE TREATED THIS WAY. CLEARLY THIS STORE HAS ISSUES, THE RATINGS ARE NOT GOOD. ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO I WAS THERE ONE NIGHT TO PICK UP MY PRESCRIPTIONS AND OF COURSE THE DRIVE THRU WAS CLOSED “DUE TO LACK OF STAFF”. I WAS WAITING AND I WITNESSED A TECH YELLING AT AN OLDER MAN BECAUSE THE MAN WAS JUST ASKING WHY THE PHARMACY CLOSED AT 10PM, WHEN IT IS ADVERTISED TO BE A 24 HOUR. I ACTUALLY CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND SPOKE WITH A MANAGER ABOUT HOW BADLY THAT OLDER MAN HAD BEEN TREATED. SO I ACTUALLY ENDED UP HAVING MY PRESCRIPTIONS TRANSFERRED TO WALMART AND I HAD A PLEASANT EXPERIENCED AND WAS TREATED LIKE A HUMAN BEING.

Called the Wallgreens in Woods Cross Utah pharmacist. I had a question about a medicine. It took forever to answer the phone. The pharmacist complained about how overworked she was and I should Google the medicine. Then she actually hung up on me. She needs to lose her job. We have been with Walgreens for several years. That is just the rudest thing that you can do. She didn’t even listen to the question. I can’t believe it!

I posted this originally on the Syracuse UT Walgreens reviews and wanted to leave my review on the District Office website as well.I was in the Syracuse UT Walgreens yesterday (11/18/2023) the store was busy, with screaming children and numerous customers at both the photo department and the checkout stands. I noticed there were 3 employees working and only 2 of which were actually working. The two young ladies were working at the checkout stands, while also managing the photo department helping customers. The two young ladies were very courteous, professional and apologetic about the screaming children and the mess they created pulling things off the shelves.I am writing this review to bring attention to the third employee who was NOT helping the two young ladies that were absolutely overwhelmed with responsibilities and customers. This young man was in an isle with a cart sorting the shelves close enough to be aware of the crowd of customers. He did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help the other employees or CUSTOMERS! He rudely spent his time standing around sorting what in my opinion could have been done when the customer flow was over.I spent at least a half an hour shopping and nearly 10 minutes in line wondering why the male employee couldn’t stop fiddling around with products on the shelves and helping these two young ladies?I REALLY wish Walgreens would take some kind of action to hire more employees like the two young ladies. This young man has NO business working with customers

I love Walgreens but this rating is for a worker there.Every time I go to Walgreens at 7800 South and Redwood road and I have to talk to a woman named Sonny, she yells at me and won’t listen to me. I asked her several times to please talk calmly to me so I could understand her and she yelled at me that it was too bad. She accused me of trying to get my pain pills too soon when I asked her right up front to please let me know the date that I could fill them bc I had days left. I just had pancreatic cancer surgery and my Dr had sent another refill bc he knew it was an extremely painful surgery. She hates me because I had a complaint against her for treating me the same way before. As soon as she knew my name she laid into me. I’m literally crying. I have never had anyone treat me with so much prejudice. I was clam and kind. Everyone there is so nice to me. I don’t understand. I’ve always been so happy with them. This time I was hung up on three times before she would even pick up. They have caller Id and I believe she knew it was me. I have chronic pain and have for years. It’s a horrible thing to live with, but to be treated like a horrible person every time I have to fill when she is there is too much. She makes me feel like trash.All I wanted was a date that I could fill. I have NEVER asked to fill a prescription early. I am extremely careful with my medications. Besides my Dr said I could fill it almost 2 weeks ago but I am sparingly using them. I hate to take them. It is not a great feeling. I’ll live without them, painfully so, but I can’t bare the anger and shame she portrays on me. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong. I just want to understand why.I wouldn’t want to hurt anyone, but I really don’t believe she should be working with the public. Especially people who are sick and need a compassionate response. She is so angry.

Tried to get a regular flu shot. Was told I needed an appointment. Called the number they gave and spoke with a person who didn’t understand English. After several tries I got the appt. (But she’d made it at wrong address - which I didn’t realize bc she was very difficult to understand).When I went back later at appointed time (thinking it was correct) they turned me away saying I hadn’t made the appt for that location. After being belittled and rudely turned away I asked the store manager to help. She acknowledged that the woman who makes appointments had made mistakes before. And got the pharmacy to accept me and I finally got a flu shot. But only after the head pharmacist Siarvash once again belittled me and scolded me in front of several other customers.I’m a 75 yo woman. It was getting dark and the pharmacy gang told me rudely to leave. Totally unacceptable unprofessional behavior by people who should be helping. Walgreens really has a problem that needs fixing. Wish I could give 0 stars. And I’ll never shop there again. Located at 900 E 4500 S Millcreek Ut

You’re probably the biggest pharmacy in Utah and I feel sorry for your workers because they are always stressed but can’t you figure it out??? 27 minute wait in the phone for a question and the wait to get your prescription always takes up half your day! There are things I don’t know I’m sure, but geez, do something

I am very disappointed in the service. I tried calling the district office to no avail. My Dr. sent a prescription to the 4700 south and redwood road location, and I went to pick it up to find out they were closed (no communication with this). I was sent to the 7700 S Redwood Rd location and can’t pick it up their either because the other Walgreens doesn’t have it on their records. I need these today but no one is willing to help. Unfortunately I am stuck using this sub-par pharmacy due to my insurance policy.

I am drafting this review on behalf of AJ, the pharmacy manager at the Walgreens on 21st So and 20th East in Salt Lake City. Kudos to you AJ!! YOU are awesome! My insurance company refused to fill an RX that was ordered by my doctor. They have NO RIGHT to disregard the instructions of my phyician. Due to AJ'S decency and compassion, and with great personal effort, he was able to honor my Dr's wishes and accomodate my desperate need. He is a SAINT!! I would reccommend this pharmacy to any, and everyone!
