“I had never been here before and my Bobbi (cat) Had red in his eye, and I was very concerned!! They made me feel at ease and were kind, loving and patient and Answered my questions! I also love that they were very upfront with what I would be charged! The front desk people were very kind, friendly, and willing to answer any questions I had! I felt confident in bringing Bobbi here???⬛”
“We needed to take our dog in for an urgent visit. Our regular vet was booked but suggested we call Holladay Veterinary Hospital. They were able to get us in within a couple of hours. The staff and doctors were so kind and thorough and presented us with several options without making us feel pressured. I would recommend this place to anyone and even had the thought that we should start taking our dog there for his care.”
“We just moved to Salt Lake a few months ago and my dog Timber had an injury that would require surgery. Ever since we stepped foot in the door the entire staff has been compassionate and super sweet to my dog and I. The doctor and techs are incredible and super intelligent. We will be going here for all our veterinarian needs and I would highly recommend them.”
“I've taken my two dogs here for years and they're always amazing. We've used multiple veterinarians, vet techs and nurses, they're all great.”
“We were patients of Brookside. We chose this vet because of others referring them and they did not disappoint! They are absolutely amazing! So gentle and kind. 100% recommend.”
“Far and away the best pet clinic i have ever been to. Every staff member treats their patients as if they were their own. Every moment of my tough journey has been met with sympathy, kindness, and an avid desire to help.
I would recommend this clinic to absolutely anyone. I am beyond grateful that I found them. I will not be going anywhere else.
Thank you, avenues pet clinic.”
“Every staff member and vet we’ve interacted here have been friendly, kind and compassionate. My dog has high anxiety and needs to be pretty heavily medicated for even routine visits. They are so supportive and patient with us!”
“Anna and the rest of the team helped us all the way through the end with the impossible task of letting our fur baby Indica go. Very compassionate people and they made the experience as comfortable as it could possibly be. Highly recommend.”
“Great doctors! We have been seeing Dr. Loek and Dr. Laporte for years. They take great care of two of my dogs who have struggled with allergies and other health conditions.”

952 E 900 S, Salt Lake City“I have a fractious arthritic cat (a loveable challenge even on gaba, if you will), and in the past some staff at other vet clinics have become frustrated with her and treated her less gently. It can be hard to find a cat-friendly vet.
ALL the vets and techs at University Vet treat my cat INCREDIBLY kindly, which is the basis for effective care. She comes in at a minimum once a month for a Solensia shot (would recommend), and each vet tech that handles her has been very understanding of her fear and the challenge she offers. She has seen several vets here and I've been very impressed with their handling of her.
They do not have seperate a waiting area/entrance for cats, but do have a large lobby and call pets back quickly so I haven't found that to be a huge problem.
I've found this vet office to be flexible and accomodating for urgent and routine care. They do xrays during dental cleanings, which is particularly important for older cats. They're knowledgeable about cats and the care/treatments they've offered have visibly improved my cat's QOL. I've recommended this vet to friends with cats and heard back positive things.”
“Not overly busy or hard to get in
Update 2 years later- still a great vet that isn't impossible to get in. The vets and support staff are incredibly supportive and use clear language so you know what's going on. Can't recommend highly enough”
“We started taking in feral and abandoned rabbits from out neighborhood. One of the first issues we ran into was the cost of spay/neutering services for them since they are considered "exotic". Brickyard was the first affordable rabbit vet I found in the Valley. They are also easy to get an appointment with. Places like Wasatch Exotics there was a month + weight for. That's not sustainable if you have multiple exotics or an emergency. We have had more than 10 rabbits have surgery with Doctor Allen and they've all been great. They have seen our buns for various issues and love it. The staff is so caring and kind. Love this place never going anywhere else if we can help it.”
“This place is the best! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and really seem to care about each patient that they work with.
My Airedale (Logan) has a degenerative condition and the hydrotherapy (water treadmill) and acupuncture have really helped him. I notice a big improvement after his sessions.”
“Took my two rescue kittens here to be spayed and neutered. Orchard did a phenomenal job! They send an email with instructions and they are very thorough. Make sure to read carefully - I did have to pay an extra $100 for two carriers that they deemed the proper size for recovery. This was my fault as I took measurements of the outside of the carriers I came with - the instructions state to do INSIDE measurements. Just be aware that if the inside measurements are not within the bounds they set - you will be charged. Also, any blankets you bring, including the one to cover the outside may be subject to being cut up or repurposed for the comfort of your animal. They only have a phone number to call for pick up and it has you leave a voicemail and then they will come out and meet you once they listen to it. If you have something to do right after morning drop off, make sure to give yourself an extra 10-15 minutes. They sent the cats home with cat nip toys which provided my cats with a lot of comfort in the days following their procedures. The kennels I was required to purchase were in great condition. They left me with very clear post op instructions and the surgical sites on both my male and female cats looked great. Would definitely recommend this place to people as I was able to get my cats scheduled for an appointment within 1 week at a very reasonable price.”
“It's so clean, doesn't smell of dirty animals like some offices, and the staff is SO KIND! Jo is a superstar! Dr Burton is quality and also super kind. Would recommend!”

2206 McClelland St E, Salt Lake City“I absolutely love this vet clinic. I've been taking my cat here for almost 10 years and they always give the best care without being outrageously pricey. I get all my cats check ups, shots or any other issues (like dental or illnesses) done here and I have never had any problems or complications. I fully trust the dr and her team here at this clinic.”
“Ive been a long time client with numerous kitty cats. Dr. Belman has always made time for me whenever I had an emergency. They have never told me the soonest we can see your cat is two weeks out. He restitched my Kitty Max the same day he was leaving on a vacation. He made a quick trip to open his office just for my Max.
Ive loved his staff too and have become good friends with Lindsay. My respect for Dr Belman greatly increased when Lindsay told me her story about how the Dr saved her babys life on a day that the office was not open. Her baby Hope tragically died this June in a terrible house fire. You can look up her gofundme "Rebuild Hope for Lindsay's Family After Fire"”
“This place is Fabulous! They helped my recently adopted 10yr shitzu Esme'. She has a mammory tumor size of a large kiwi. Dr Gregg, retired surgeon advised xray of lungs & chest, prior to biopsy of mass not to interrupt if infact was cancerous and had spread. To make sure prior to removal. Is compassionate and a great asset to redbutte's already #1 vetinary facility in greater Salt Lake City area. Highly Recommend for anyone's furr baby or pet.”

They were very gentle with him and very informative about what was wrong and what could be done in the future to prevent/ keep an eye on it.”

1021 E 3300 S, Salt Lake City“We called ahead yesterday for our sweet boy, Bonzai, who was in acute distress. Not only were your staff expecting us, they ran out the door to help us get him inside safely. We really appreciate your patience, compassion, and understanding but we truly appreciated you all for giving us the time we needed to say goodbye to him and for allowing us to bring in so many people in our family to pay their respects to him before he was euthanized. This is a BRUTAL time for us, but you made that piece of this puzzle as soothing as it could be, under the circumstances. Everyone who was working the front desk, the vet, and the vet techs... please accept our sincere gratitude for honoring our boy with love and compassion. We really appreciate it.”

6360 Highland Dr., Salt Lake City“I just wanted to give a shout out to Dr. Neal. My boyfriend and I had a middle of the night emergency a few nights ago when our dog was struggling and declining in her health. We were the only patients in the office, however, him and his staff were so attentive to our concerns and did everything they possibly could for our dog. Not only that, but the next day, when the problems continued and our dogs problems came back, Doctor Neal promptly called me back and gave suggestions to me on next steps. He didn't once act annoyed, or bothered by my concerns and questions.
Unfortunately, our dog passed away due to her continuing health problems and age, but it wasn't for lack of care on our Doctors end.
I am forever greatful for the efforts that he and his staff made to make our pup comfortable as she reached the end of her beautiful life.”
“Amazing service and care! Dr. Blotter and the team are great to work with and very knowledgeable. They have taken care of all of my animals for over 10 years, and I have only good things to say about the experience.”

“The caregivers at Banfield Pet Care at 1800 South and 300 West have taken great care of our dog Archie for 13 yrs now. They are always kind and thorough in there care. I would recommend them for your pet health provider”
“We always appreciate Doctor T and the rest of the staffs patience and quick treatment of our pets. I appreciate how honest and straightforward the veterinary advice is. I don't believe Healthcare of any kind is the place to mince words, and all of the facts are always laid out with all pros and cons. Our pets are always seen in a reasonable time after reaching out, and they have been very helpful in getting my dogs and cat (who they hadn't seen prior) in same day when necessary. We have had several long term serious injuries/illnesses treated there that required a lot of back and forth and I am happy with my experience. Any concerns I ever brought up were responded to with a thorough educated answer, and in times where I didn't feel comfortable proceeding in a certain way my opinion was respected and adjustments were made to accommodate us when possible. Responsible pet owners will love this clinic! Highly recommend ?”
“By far the best experience I have ever had with a veterinary team. They care as much about our animals as we do! The team is amazing! Will not go anywhere else."”
