I scheduled an appointment for the wrong day and since they had a cancellation Payton was able to get me in. I learned about preventative care and was helped with my dog’s current needs by Alexis and the Doctor. The level of kindness and excellency this place provides is well worth the visit. If you’re thinking about it do it! We all need to be aware of our animals needs and a simple check up or issue your pet may be having gives you insight on what they need.

Absolutely sickening. I made an appointment for 12 pm to get my dog euthanized. I receive a phone call to see if I can possibly get there before 11:30 because of their technical issues. I understood and got my sick, poor dog up loaded into the car and hurried over. When I get there, keep in mind it’s 11:07. I see the vet office is completely closed off without even notifying me at all. I talk to one of the petco worker and with zero empathy accuses us for scheduling the wrong appointment. I’m having a hard time enough, having to put my best friend down expecting him to be in good hands but this is the service I get. All they were able to offer me was a silly 20% off coupon for literally wasting me and my dogs time. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone. Just pay the extra money and go to a better vet office for your poor beloved animals .

Came in for aquatic plants, took FOREVER (like 15 min) to find someone to help. This happens every time I've come in. Prices were all over the place making difficult to find the price of what I wanted. Many plants covered in black algaeI which sucked. When finally found someone (Wendi is great) she helped find the price. Probably won't come back anymore though.

They lie about what they say about your animals. They told me that my dog had 3-6 months back in November. Here it is almost a year and my dog is still eating, running and going to the bathroom

Never take your animals to get groomed here, last two times my dog has been brought in he has been injured by the groomers. most recently they clipped through his ear. Truly heartbreaking that they would let such inexperienced groomers work on dogs.

I just had my chi groomed, I only do the bath and nails. When I arrived there was a walk-in just ahead of me, I had scheduled my dogs appointment ahead of time but they took the walk in before me. Typically it takes 40 minutes to max an hour but I was told he would be done in 2 and a half hours now.. That was frustrating enough. About 10 shy of 2 hours he was done. He was clean but his nails were barely even trimmed and had loose hanging pieces and they were all uneven. I paid close to $50 for my tiny dog to be fully done. That's not cheap so to have half as*ed work done is extremely disappointing. The woman who did him was very nice and I'm sure she's actually good at her job but I could tell she was overwhelmed because the other 6 or so employees had left and I guess she was left to do 4 dogs at the same time alone. Regardless I shouldn't have been punished for her crappy coworkers. I have come here forever and this was the most disappointing time, I'm not sure if I'll be back I feel like I just threw away 48 bucks.

Robin and Ethan are the only two people there that are friendly and willing to help you. Any other person I ask anything to I get an "I don't know" with the most attitude and rudeness behind it. Really need to work on people skills at this store.

I don't know what has happened to the service industry. I have made two trips in the last two weeks across town to buy cat grass at Petco, only to find it hasn't been restocked. Today I called and asked if it had been restocked yet and a young lady said she would have somebody go back and check. I listened to elevator music for nearly 20 minutes and no one ever came back to the phone. Bad service, bad customer relations.

The people at the sugar house store need to accommodate the customer Instead of arguing and making the experience horrible.I will never shop there again!!

The cashiers are helpful & sweet so the one star belongs to them otherwise I'd give 0 overall if I could. Since yesterday my gut was telling me to not bring my dog here since the lady who made the grooming appointment was unpleasant (First time bringing her here as I'm from out of state). The last picture is my dog before her grooming and the previous ones are of the absolutely terrible crooked grooming that was done to her. I wanted to cry from being so upset and disgusted with how they left her. I just wanted a hair TRIM mostly on her face to get the teddy cut but the groomer SHAVED HER COMPLETELY even after we had agreed she was going to do the teddy cut. And no, my dog did NOT have mats as the groomer claimed. I had even showered & brushed her the night before without a single mat on her fur. The last picture is the cut/ burn mark on her private area caused by the groomer. They also completely shaved a beautiful black standard poodle and poor dog looked as bad as mine. Waste of $63. Take your dog to get groomed literally anywhere else. Trust your gut!
