Second time in a week we haven't been able to use our card. It keeps getting declined. Yet there's money in there and my card is still showing active and no sign of fraud or alerts. First time I was told sometimes after hours that happens, we'll we were literally stuck in the airport parking lot at 11pm with 4 kids cause we didn't have our other card with us. We even used the card at the airport that day. Second time has been this very long weekend due to pioneer day, so we are literally without access to our money since Friday night. And we have to wait till Tuesday. This is not ok. I can't call anyone to help either cause no offices are open. Literally had to scrounge for change around the house and vehicles for milk and bread to get us through the weekend.

Hands down one of the best Credit Union. There staff is great. They care about there members. The care about the history of the credit union. They make you feel important and your needs are meet. Thank you for thee many years of kindness!!!!!

Hands down the very best Credit Union in Utah! I've been working with CJ for probably close if not a decade! He is an incredible employee there and that is the main reason I bank here, but the leasing department, tellers, etc are all amazing! Quick in and out times.

Don't bank with UPCU if you need to get money sent somewhere on time. We just had a house closing delayed because (UPCU) couldn't get a wire transfer out on time (even though we warned them earlier in the week that we were making this transaction and we got them the wire transfer info first thing on the day that we needed the wire transfer done). This delay literally cost us thousands of dollars because of changes in foreign exchange rates.

I bought a motorcycle from someone that had a loan through Utah Power Credit Union so naturally they had a lien on the bike and were in possession of the title. I went with the previous owner to pay off the loan and get the title. They told me I’d have to give a name and address so they could mail it to me, okay no problem. I call a week later and they hadn’t sent it, I gave them my information again and they said they’d send it that day. Two weeks after that I call again and they still hadn’t sent it. They claimed they didn’t have my name so they couldn’t send the title. I don’t know what they planned on doing with the title, seemed as though they’d just keep it. At this point I have to go pick it up because I don’t trust them to know how to send a title. Horrible experience and I’m not even an account holder. All I needed was the title to my motorcycle.

If you have a family member who works for the power company here, then Utah Power Credit Union is an excellent choice for easy banking. They have incredible rates on all of their loan types and credit cards, and they are friendly and easy to work with. If you are eligible, this is an excellent credit union.

Been a member for 20 years. Had my business account with them for 5+ years. They do a great job and always remember us when we come in. I mostly just bank with them online now, but going in is always pleasant.
