We love Utah Pet Rehab! Our big fur kid developed a limp last fall. It took awhile to determine it was his shoulder. We tried rehab first at Utah Pet Rehab and they helped us determine he really did need surgery. While the experience with the surgeon has been a mixed bag, we’ve had a wonderful experience with the staff at Utah Pet Rehab! If your dog has any kind of injury I recommend going there before you make any decisions about surgery. I also highly recommend going there after any kind of orthopedic surgery as surgeons can’t always see past the OR. Physical therapy should be a part of any healing process!

My girl is recovering from a TPLO. At 2 weeks PO, I took her to the PT my vet recommends. That PT really didn't want to deal with my dog and some of her challenges. I waited until week 7 to schedule with Utah Pet Rehab and wish I hadn't. They are awesome! Dr. McCall answered all my questions and gave me the details about where my girl is at and the entire team is willing and ready to work with her to rebuild 4-inches of lost muscle. I shudder to think what may have happened to my girl without PT and without this team's willingness to help us both.

Great at first, communication good, they gave me a video and the doctor talked to me, however after I bought the punch pass, that was recommended, the communication stopped. The appointments got shorter and shorter. After four more appointments and zero communication, even after asking for feedback on how he was doing, I realized that the genuine care that I felt the first day was just to make the sell. I don't know if it's because there are so many different people working there, or that they don't take good notes, but for instance they would tell me that they were going lower the water and then the next appointment tell me the same thing, as if they hadn't done it. Not great costumer service!

We went from “He isn’t healing fast enough” from one vet to “He is healing great for how far along his injury is” with Dr. Shawna! Even though we had to stay in the car , they came out quite a bit to keep us updated (it was raining!) . Dr. Shawna asked questions to clarify! The whole team, really, is so kind and so compassionate. They gave us so much comfort! Gave us tips for when little man decides to jump off the couch, and exercises and when to do it! Love, love, LOVE them!

I can't say enough good things about them! I've personally taken four dogs and a cat to them for physical therapy and LOVE them. They do a tremendous amount of good for community animals, including shelter animals, and I really appreciate Pat & Dr Shawna and their wonderful techs both personally and professionally!

Utah Pet Rehab is amazing! All the staff are super skilled, knowledgeable and very friendly. Unfortunately, this is our second time needing their rehab services for our dachshund. Again, their service is fantastic.

Terrible people. They believe they're gods gift to earth because they offer limited free services to Humane Society. When we missed an appointment because of an emergency, instead of talking to us, they whined to Humane Society and put them in a bind and had foster puppy taken from us. Note Humane Society's own vet said puppy had improved and were distraught about the situation. Now our other dogs (house has 5 now) are anxious cause they're missing their new friend and we have no ability to explain it to their poor souls. My boyfriend and I are in tears. I would never willingly use them and are proof that dogs make better people than people.

We have been coming to Utah Pet Rehab for months now and LOVE THEM!!! Utah Pet Rehab was highly recommended to us and I felt super comfortable because they had both a physical therapist as well as a veterinarian on staff. Our dog had complications with his first cruciate repairs and started therapy when we got both legs re-done. Therapy has made a significant difference in both his recovery but also his quality of life. He loves the treadmill (hated water before we came here) and he is hard to calm down after his sessions he is so happy. The staff is super friendly, easy to work with, and great at returning calls. Even with COVID, they have modified their times so pets can be seen; I feel they truly care about our Oakley every time we bring him in. The sessions have made a huge difference in his demeanor, and after every session he is a complete nut and I can tell he's more comfortable for the rest of the day. Before we came, we thought he would never fully recover; but we are hopeful with all the tremendous progress he's made in a few short months! If you are looking for a therapist they are truly the best.

Excellent care for my 14 yesr-old Samoyed with a damaged CCL. He could barely walk and was too old for surgery. After two months of weekly therapy, he is almost all of the way back. Thank you! Friendly and caring staff.

Everyone is so friendly and made me feel so comfortable as a first time patron. The doc kept me informed and the staff was very helpful and kind. I am so excited to bring my pup back.

My 75 pound lab mix tore her ACL and had TPLO. I didn't feel great about the recovery plan the vet had set, so I called Utah pet rehab and boy am I glad I did! Zoey went from heavily limping and not using her leg five weeks post-op to using it better and better each time we went. The underwater treadmill sessions saved her! I really don't think she would have healed as well without it. It's an investment, but I already invested in her surgery so it was worth it. Everyone is kind, knowledge, and so great to work with. They truly care about your pets! I can't say enough great things!

If your dog is in need of rehabilitative care or physical therapy this is the place to go. The whole team is wonderful and truly cares about each pet's individual needs. I have a senior dog with an assortment of health issues. I had been taking my dog in for rehabilitative services for years in another state. After moving, I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a care provider that would be as good. I was wrong. Since moving / changing providers my dog's physical mobility has noticeably improved. Post laser and acupuncture sessions at Utah Pet Rehab always bring a noticeable physical improvement in walk and sleep habits.
