“After my review of Burt’s Brother’s and doing some research, I ended up calling Excel Automotive and told them the issue with my car. Turns out Burt’s Brothers was right with their estimate in cost of brake repair but also confirmed I WAS RIGHT too in my assumption that the brakes had been bad for a while should have been brought up way before it reached the point of where they were at.
Richard and his staff are personable and mechanics that have come from other dealerships that share the same belief of being honest with people about their cars and not always trying to upsell customers on stuff not needed or keeping repairs hidden from customers until the cost has hit an astronomical point.
I happily paid the $800 to Excel and have been a loyal returning customer since then. They always speak to me about my concerns about my vehicle and i never feel rushed. And more importantly, I never felt taken advantage of. Cannot recommend Excel enough to people who share the same concerns I do about car repair shops.”

“Have been going to Foothill Tire Pros for years. Recently my Jeep had some brake issues and they cropped up immediately after they had inspected the brakes and rotated tires. It turned out to be coincidental timing, but Foothill Tire Pros and its manager, Dustin, were willing to make the assumption of fault and arranged to have the Jeep towed to the shop without protest. It ended up having nothing to do with their service, something they suspected from the outset, but they did it anyway. I think that "customer first" mentality is rare these days. Will continue to be a customer here for years to come.”
“I’ve taken my cars to this place since about 2007/08 & they're honest and fair with their costs. I have never had an issue with their service. I love going to them because my car always leaves better than it came in. They don't try to add costs and listen to what needs replacing. I feel safe and secure, especially as a woman. I can go to a shop where they'll do what is needed for me to save money and ensure my car is running properly. I want to learn as I come up with issues and Max is great at explaining things to me. “I had a unexpected timing belt tensioner noise that is a precursor to a timing belt failure that shouldn’t be ignored. They fit me in last minute to complete it in time during my workday. I expected a few seals to be replaced due to oil leaks, they said there was no issue and wouldn’t do anything. I appreciate the honesty and ease of establishing an easy working relationship.”

“Dave is amazing. Another shop had told me that I had three bent wheels and needed to replace all of them. I showed up to West Valley Tire looking for used wheels, and instead, Dave walked me back into their shop and let me watch as they re-balanced my tires and checked each of my wheels. The result was that I needed ZERO new wheels, and with the balancing they did and one of the tires flipped over 180-degrees, it cleaned up the rumbling I was experiencing in a huge way. He charged me $0. I'll be buying my next tires from West Valley, for certain. Super impressive! When I asked Dave why the place I bought my tires from hadn't come to the same conclusions, he said "That's the difference between a tire store and a tire shop."”
“Been using this shop for years, when the dealerships "repairs" would either not work or my wife was told it was "normal" these guys correctly diagnosed and fixed the issues.
They haven't been perfect every time but when something wasn't quite right they would take another look, usually for no more cost out of my pocket for the final repair.”

“Had an issue with my ford f150. Took it to ford in bountiful. They kept it a week and charged $1500 but couldn't fix the problem. Remembered using Lambert Auto in the past and took it to them. They had it diagnosed that day and fixed the next. Only charged $600. Didn't realize they had master mechanics. Thought the dealership would be better but was way wrong. They explained everything and didn't make me feel like an idiot. Since then they have had all my business.”

“Came in Saturday morning for an alignment. They do walk ins or appointments. Steering wheel went from 20 degrees off center to dead center. The car pulled hard right but now tracks straight. they also give you the print off from the machine which is nice to see. Definitely recommend!”

“I have an old car that I love. A few years ago the transmission went out and I had to decide whether to replace it on an otherwise great car or send it to a better home. I finally decided to replace it. Aposhian helped me find a replacement and did a great job replacing it. After a few days after driving it I got a CEL and a transmission warning. I brought it back and they stood by their work and replaced a faulty pressure switch at no cost to me. I suspect that switch had nothing to do with their repair but they did it anyway even though I was prepared to pay.
It feels like everywhere I go someone is trying to scam you or upcharge you. I've heard from a lot of people that they are honest and now I have this experience to back it up. I hope I don't have other car problems in the future but if I do I'll be back and and I'll tell my friends. Thanks Aposhian.”

So ran over to them before the air was all the way out of the tire and they fit me in luckily it was a couple hours before they were closed. “Was in need of a shop to do a pre purchase inspection, while being on the west coast. With the truck being a 6.7 cummin diesel, and the videos I found online pointed me to DAVES AUTO, the YouTube famous shop where they share their knowledge and expertise. After calling into that shop, however, I was informed of a three week wait period. This would not work for my scheduling, as I was in the middle of a vehicle purchase. I asked the gentleman over there who they would recommend, when they recommended this place. I called and spoke with Frank, who had quoted me the lowest vehicle inspection price of four shops in town, And was able to get it done very quickly with a friendly and communicative staff. The quality service, and ease of the experience overall, has earned them this five star review!
