A beautiful stationery shop that carries more than stationery. They have jewelry, coffee table books, refillable pens, personal stationery, gift wrap, and more. It is so beautiful in here, it makes you feel elegant and in a holiday mood. The staff that spoke with me were kind. This shop is higher end though and comes with that price tag.

Amazing staff, amazing products with super unique options! If you’re a pen person, that also enjoys coffee table books and high end soaps, this is the only place to go.

I just left there where I was pretty much ignored by both employees working. I was wanting to finally buy the L'amy 2000 I've been lusting after for quite a while now and was disappointed by my experience. Maybe it's because I was there in a t-shirt and had let my facial hair grow out. Regardless I had a bit of money burning a hole in my pocket and thought today was the day.
Guess I was wrong.
To the Tabula Rasa team. Maybe don't judge books by their cover, selling luxury items requires luxurious customer service.
Anyone wanting to buy pens and ink, I would recommend the kind folks at Goulet Pens, yes it's online, but they offer great customer service, and far better prices.

Tabula Rasa is my new emotional support shop, I love it here so much!! It's easily the best shop in trolley square. I love it's sweet victorianesque aesthetic with its friendly employees and cozy atmosphere.

Sadly I had to change my review of this place. I would buy paper and ink from here, but no longer would buy pens from here. Specifically Montblanc. I bought a Writers Edition and no one, including here, is standing behind the warranty I'm supposed to get with it. Honestly if I could return it I would at this point.

Tabula Rasa is one of, if not, my favorite store. I love to write and when it comes to writing tools and stationary, these guys have it all. From high-end executive pens, designer pens, go-to pens for professionals, and then everything nice to write on. They offer an invitations service that is wonderful and have a small shop for scented goods, toiletry items, and unique gifts. There is something for anyone in this store, even if you don’t like stationary or could care less what pen you have. It’s a great little shop and I’m glad it’s still around. Will post photos.

I went to check out Tula Rasa. The store was only slightly interesting The the way we were treated was horrible or should I use the word deplorable. The owners were watching every move we ,made. F=ollowing us around the store and breathing down our necks. So what, I had ripped paint covered jeans on and tattoos. Uhh oh this person is going to steal from us. We better watch him and make him feel as uncomfortable and unwelcome as possible. I thought I would find an interesting or vintage pen to add to my 60+ Nakaya, Hakase and high end limited edition Mont Blanc pens Collection. Shame on Tula Rasa. I am not sure who they think they are. Treating customers they way they do. I would never give them a penny. I am all about supporting brick and mortar small business but I can tell you there are plenty of fountain pen mail order and brick and mortar shops world wide that are more than happy to work with you, show you total respect and not " Judge" Do your self a favor and go else where. I did notice that their selection is seriously just average. Don't judge a book by its cover. It's also not about the price point or how many pens you have etc...... it's about being respectful, kind and accommodating. I do not recommend this rude , seriously overpriced store. you can get every thing you need else where.

Love this store, so elegant! You can find gifts for everyone, even to the ones hard to please. Also, their customer service is fantastic, they wrapped your gifts complimentary and with so much art and detail.

Gorgeous store! If you're looking for the perfect gift for someone who loves culture, art, food, and for sure your writers, this is the place.
Won't find a selection like this elsewhere. The more you look, the more you find unique treasures just waiting to be liberated. You'll have to show control over yourself but eventually you'll cave ?
I buy almost all my wrapping paper here, such a wide variety of the most beautiful wrapping. Your loved ones will love the wrapping almost more than the gift, and you'll be the talk of the party easily the way it commands everyone's attention.
The staff is on point in their attitudes and asks to give assistance at those moments you actually could use it and not the times you don't

This is my favorite store in Trolley Square. And possibly in the entire state. For some reason the aesthetic surpasses normal regal reality and borders on a mysterious professional cabinet of curiosities. I have bought many things from this store and every time it is a treat. When you purchase something from here it feels like you are the only person in the world who has access to it. As if you now have a priceless relic. Its perfect for special gifts. Ive gotten excellent pens and paper that have been used for tailored letters to friends and loved ones. Not to mention that the service is legendary. Anything you need the staff provides you with. Their gift wrapping skills are incredible. All of these things combined with the fact that the owner keeps the inventory constantly changing make it so I have to have a look in there whenever I visit Trolley. Do note that this store is $$-$$$
