They never have medications in stock- or supposedly it was “never sent” and when they do receive an RX electronically; you wait 6 hours before you pick it up- you have to wait an additional 30 min for them to process it on top of that. Drive thru is never just driving through. You have to spin back around and get in line because they don’t have your medication ready. Apparently you have to “call 1 hour” before you pick RX up even if you waited a whole day for pick up or it won’t be ready. To many hoops you have to jump to get antibiotics. It makes picking up medications stressful.

I read online that Smiths pharmacy does walk in flu shots. I walked up at 12:48pm and asked for a shot. The woman at the front informed me they couldn’t help me because they have lunch break at 1pm…. In over 10 minutes. I’ve never been refused help or customer care in anticipation of a break that hasn’t even started yet. This has never been the culture in any job I’ve held! There was no one else in line and I was advised to return hours later. No thanks. Customer service is more than lacking.

Walked up to pick up my daughters much needed depression meds at exactly 4 pm on the dot (didn’t realize they close earlier on Sundays at 4 pm). They were currently helping someone else, but I was the last one there waiting, when a male presenting employee walked past me and just said “the pharmacy is closed.” … really? Letting me take 3 extra minutes of your time was just too much? I was the only one. Customer service goes a long way folks. Sad.
My husband has had a previous horrible experience here as well. Well be driving to the smiths further away from now on.

I've been going to this pharmacy for years, in addition to trying a few others, and this has been the most consistently solid.
Negatives have included: filling the wrong quantity of a med once, and though they easily fixed the issue when I talked to someone later, it did necessitate another trip; poor communication regarding issues with controlled substance prescriptions (entirely separately from the insanely strict laws relevant to those drugs. trust me, I'm very well versed in those state and federal regulations), such as not informing me of a pending prescription having expired while pending/awaiting supply, "losing" prescriptions sent by my provider because they didn't scroll down far enough, etc; trying to supercede my provider's prescription as ordered because they didn't understand the rare diagnosis, etc; and ongoing difficulty aligning meds for auto refill and/or minimal visits.
Positives include that they're generally friendly, always professional, and have always been willing and able to help when I'm willing to take the time to go and talk to them. They have looked up different pricing options for me on numerous occasions, offered OTC or insurance-friendly alternatives to discuss with my provider, given me a heads up when meds started trickling in again after manufacturing shortages, and even filled a med immediately/while I was at the counter due to it being something I needed urgently. I also appreciate that they will always contact my doctors' offices for me on medication refills (other than controlled substances, for obvious legal reasons), including following up multiple times upon request.
I love that the app allows me to see what's ready, pending, etc, and to request refills. I love that I get a text message when my meds are filled, even if I'm sitting and waiting. And I love that I can leave a voicemail at 2am to fill my controlled substances that will be listened to and completed with a text when it's ready, rather than needing to remember to call the next day and wait that much longer.
Overall, they're good people. I'm sure some are more willing to go above and beyond than others, as is true of any place. I mostly like them because they're conveniently located near my house, offer decent evening hours, and have helped me to sort out any issues I've had.
I have NEVER been given the wrong med or dose, someone else's meds or information, or the wrong dosing instructions. That kind of error is the one I worry about the most. So while they have messed things up here and there through the years, and I'm sure there are ways they could be better in an ideal world, they're still reliable and helpful enough for me to not go looking elsewhere.

Great location! Helpful and knowledgeable staff! I will be moving and will have to get my prescriptions at a different location and this makes me sad as their service is ?

I called the pharmacy before driving over to pick up my prescriptions. He stated they would be ready in 20 minutes. I gave them 90 minutes to make sure they were ready. After waiting in a very long line, I found out that they were not ready. They said to drive around to the end of the line and wait behind the three cars that were there. I will be switching pharmacies and I really should have looked at the reviews here before doing business with them.

This pharmacy is absolute garbage. I have been calling for 5 days now to get them to send a SINGLE fax to my new pharmacy so that I can get my prescription.I am a postpartum lactating mom….I am going without my much needed medication today because of them.
