Best People. Very Community oriented and involved. Generational experience. Professional, but not stuffy suit people (no offense we need them too). They 'saved' a lot of small businesses during Covid by going the extra 1000 miles and personal time, to help their clients survive. Class act.

Highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.I wanted to save some time this year and was willing to pay someone to do my taxes. The amount of time I spent on the phone following up after not getting responses was much more than it should have been. I also was verbally told that after I put my banking information in and signed the forms everything would be paid for by Scofield, and I wouldn’t need to do anything. Fast forward to three months later and I get a bill in the mail saying I hadn’t paid my state’s income tax. Now I have to pay that along with three month’s of interest, all because there was a miscommunication. I called them and they said there was nothing they could do…not even pay the interest, and they didn’t own up to making a mistake. If I had known the trouble this would be I would have rather spent a few hours to do my own taxes.

Terrible service they sent my tax return w/o my signature aswell as my knowledge. They are OVERPRICEDLiberty Tax is 100% better

We have been going to Scofield Tax Service since they opened. Always very friendly, professional and make sure your taxes are done right! Fair pricing too. They certainly know the tax code. Scofield Tax Service has saved us money and time every year. Cannot get any better than them. Thank you!

I used Scofield for years, but their lack of communication and inability to meet IRS deadlines made me move on to a more professional CPA. In previous years it was difficult to get a hold of them, but they made deadlines. This year (2021 tax year) after having emailed the request to file an extension (and with their response acknowledging that my request would be taken care of) I assumed it was filed. It was not, and I just got hit with a $900 IRS penalty. Scofield might have been good in the past, but not anymore. I have moved on.

Terrible and unprofessional experience. Bad communication, couldn’t get a hold of them for months, was told my taxes would be filed but they were not. They didn’t even file an extension for me.When they finally got back to me via email, I was told that they were unable to help me and that I should go to someone else….Very disappointed and frustrated. Please go somewhere else for tax help.

Literally made it more difficult to file taxes than online. I sent ~5 follow-up emails and called ~4 times before I finally had someone respond and tell me my taxes still were not filed ~12 hrs before the deadline. I understand it's a busy time, but good grief.

Scofield is the only place I go, Carly Milligan is quite personable and an expert in the field. I've tried so many others, this place is the best....both comfortable and professional.

This place messed up my banking information of where my direct deposit tax return was supposed to go. I filed March 15th. Checked IRS tracking website, says it deposited March 23rd now they’re making me wait for a paper check cause they couldn’t get my routing number right..... even tho they were the ones who looked it up on google when they could have asked me. 1000% unprofessional. Also couldn’t hear one word the tax lady said, she was so quiet and seemed like she didn’t now what she was doing, she kept scratching out mistakes and going to new pages of paper, writing numbers in the wrong places. Schofield, you run a business so treat it as such. I don’t know if I trust this place to do my taxes anymore. And just as another review says, they charge about $200 for no help at all.
