Best place for a convention like FanX. Even without tickets getting to take pictures outside with cosplayers is a treat.

Nice venue. My daughter’s cheer competition was here, and everything was set up nicely. Next door is a new Hyatt regency, conveniently located. Parking was a bit crowded, and it was a bit cold in the actual event. Line wasn’t too long getting in and out. Overall good experience.

Since I didn't see it posted here: There is ample bicycle parking (vertical style) in the South East corner of the parking garage near the elevator to the Hyatt Regency. Inside the entrance for ADA & Valet Parking. The security guard was super helpful and knew the locations of a number of racks available. By far the best quality bike parking I've seen across the city and it makes it the easiest way to get to or from the Convention Center! I'll be back just because of this!

I go to FanX every year! It's my absolute favorite! There are plenty of public parking lots in the area and they're all $25-$30 from what we've seen so you don't need to worry about getting stuck with a randomly overpriced parking lot. The building is so nice and easy to navigate. The staff for the convention is always so kind and helpful! If you haven't been to FanX, you definitely need to check out September 2024 when tickets are available!!

Great place for a convention to be held. Located in the downtown core. Close by is City Creek Center where you can use the allotted free time away from the convention. and shop or dine for lunch or end of day.

I worked here for several months, the events are very cool, there is a lot of beautiful people around all the time during shows. most of the housekeeping department is very well maintained, but 90% of their employees don't clean up after themselves, I spent most of my time cleaning up the breakroom, because it seemed like to me that nobody was cleaning it, I rarely encounter staff doing any deep cleans. I was told by one of my leads I could explore the building and clean wherever I wanted, only to discover later I would be fired by a different lead for doing my job in a different area, they said I "disappeared" from my work area. What a big bummer I really did like working there.

Very clean, good ventilation lots of help to let you know where to go to find the court for the game I was there to see. Clean bathrooms, lots of food vendors. Real nice place.

The convention center was VERY large. Oh my, it was a little tiring getting from one end to the other at times. But it was the perfect venue for the event I was there for!

Spacious hall in the middle of downtown SLC. The building has several nearby train stops and is surrounded by hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues of various cost/quality levels. But, the size of the facility will require significant amount of walking.

I didn't fully experience "the hotel", but my room was great. Super comfy bed and pillows, clean, coffee maker, iron, a huge TV, and a view of the city downtown. Have to come back for more. I even ordered a to go beet salad after a walk, and the guy knew better than me and put chicken in it. He was right! I loved it! There is also a quite nice mall within steps. I found it curious that, if all the hotels I've been to, they don't care about superstitions and have a thirteenth floor. Just awesome!

The layout of this convention center can be confusing. It is not "that" big, but curves around in a weird way and some areas (like the 3rd floor) are hard to find. Facilities and food options are great.
