I've been using Olio products for my beard and body wash needs for years now, and I'm ashamed to say I wish I would have given them this review years ago because of how much I like their products, service, and owners! They also have a great selection of soaps that my wife loves!

I've been looking for locally owned skin care products that my skin actually likes and I've found it!!! I bought the 2 fl oz (it lasts I promise) after shower daily moisturizer in Lavender Rose and y'all my skin looks HEALTHY. After almost a month of use, my skin looks hydrated, fine lines are heavily reduced (I think because of the long lasting moisturizing effects), and somehow my pores look smaller? I don't think that was intended or maybe it was? Also it's very gentle on my skin, it doesn't have that chemical feel (It's almost like an after burn? None here!) thanks to their natural ingredients.If you want local and great looking skin, highly recommend!

Ok. I have the most sensitive armpits ever. I have tried (probably close to) every single deodorant out there for sensitive skin. Olio's deodorant is the first deodorant that has not left me itchy or red or stinging. (I know, TMI) BUT IT WORKS!!! Also, the baby soap is perfect for me and baby - keeps our skin super moisturized and never irritated. Highly, highly recommend checking out their products!

After a lifetime of struggling with body acne and folliculitis and trying everything on the market for acne (proactive, Paula's choice, panoxyl, minocycline, retin a, etc etc etc) I started using olio products a week ago. I wasn't expecting much of a result because I have been let down so many times before. But omg the change in my skin has been incredible! I'm a week in and the acne on my bum, under my breasts and my face has almost completely healed. It has improved the look of decades old scars from picking at my skin and I feel some confidence in my appearances sneaking up. It is amazing. Thank you Olio!

You would be hard-pressed to find a couple of friendlier, more knowledgeable people about skin care than Jen and Derek at Olio Skin & Beard. Every time I've spoken with them, they've been so informative and helpful. Not only that, these days their soap is the only soap that touches my face.I love their Cuban Tobacco and Lavender soaps. Any item that comes from their shop makes a great gift, especially for people that like supporting local businesses.

Every single thing they make is a 10/10Body oils: leaves you refreshed and not overly oilyBeard oils: smell like heaven and leave your beard soft and maintainedBar soap: possibly the best soap that has ever been on this earth. Perfect balance of cleansing and not over dry with fragrances that make you want to live in the showerDog soap: most dog soap makes your pooch smell like it just left the Victoria secret discount rack… but this has almost no scent and leaves the dog with no overpowering smell but just the essence of cleanlinessOverall: buy these products if you care about your skin even a little bit ??

I was in SLC last month for work and I decided to shop around and see what natural products I could find. I live in Idaho and my options are limited where I am. I love to support small and local businesses and loved that I found Olio. I stopped in and was looking around at the soaps and doing some sniffing. Jennifer promptly greeted me and we talked all about skin care and natural soap. I have a lot of skin issues and so I try to use soap that is handmade and doesn’t have all the harsh chemicals. Jennifer and I talked for quite a few minutes and, of course, I left with 8 or so bars of soap. I love this soap. It is the best soap I have used in a long time. It leaves my skin feeling great and I haven’t had any sort of reaction to it, which is incredible for me. I will continue to buy products from Olio. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone that has any skin issues. Not only are you supporting a small local business, the owner and soap maker is extremely kind and wants to meet her customers. She was very kind to me and gave me a few samples to try different scents that I didn’t end up buying. If you are in the SLC area, stop in and get some skin care products. I know that I will plan on making special trips up there just to buy soap when I am out of the ones I bought.

Went into the Neighborhood Hive and talked to Jennifer from Olio extensively about skin care. She spent quite a bit of her time educating me about the health of our skin. I walked out with some lip balm and some of the light skin oil that I'm excited to try. I don't have a report on the product yet but very impressed already! Thank you so much Jennifer!

I LOVE Olio's Skin specifically the Evening Repair Serum, the Body Oil, and Salty Citrus face scrub. As a frequent traveler, my skin tends to be parched. The body oil is very light but has staying power. I keep the small version of the evening repair Serum with me at all times. (Its a little larger than a lip balm). Jen and Derek are the most genuine, direct people you will meet, so I have total confidence that when they say their ingredients are 100% organic and ethically sourced, they are. I have used Kiehl's, la Mer, and more, but Olio's are my go to products now. Not cheap, but worth every penny!
