The service department is terrible. They tried to charge me to inspect my outback for a warranty issue. They said I could sign a form guaranteeing I would pay or I could leave. So I left. Subaru extended the warranty because of faulty DCM and Nate Wade wouldn't honor the warranty I have in writing. Don't give this unethical business your money.

Not sure if the treatment I've received is because I purchased a used vehicle, if I'm a woman or a single mother of two littles but its been unacceptable. Purchased a used vehicle December 2022 while pregnant with my second, I was very clear that I needed an affordable, reliable family vehicle. The sells reps - Jeremiah and Rich kept passing me back between the two and it was difficult to get a clear response from either of them. They did some work on the vehicle which took two weeks due to parts not being available. Once I received the vehicle I was promptly locked out due to the key fob and had to make the trip back to SLC. Within two weeks I noticed I had a leaky front tire and had it filled up thinking it was due to the temperature changes. However this became a pattern and I called Nate Wade and spoke to Brenden who listened to my concerns however didn't have much of a solution. As my life situation became intense with family matters and having a baby, I didn't have the time to worry about the tire. So when I was ready to deal with it, I called Nate Wade and told them I needed a new tire. I left several voicemails for Brenden who was the service advisor of the car when I purchased it and he never called me back. I contacted Jeremiah, the sales rep who sold me the vehicle and he responded that it wasn't his department and he would relay the message which I never did get a call back. I asked if Nate Wade would compensate me for 1 tire as I would need to buy 4 new ones and they said they'd look into it and with no response. So I went ahead and purchased 4 new tires. Then I noticed my car was leaking oil, a lot which was the main reason as to why they took two weeks to repair prior to me getting the vehicle. So I brought it in thinking it would be covered under the warranty as it was leaking oil. Instead they charged me $189 for a diagnostic fee and told me the repairs would be $1200+. Are you kidding me? I feel that Nate Wade employees have washed their hands of me and have no compassion for the situation I am in. And to top it off, they sent me a text saying "We wanted to follow up & make sure we provided 'extraordinary' service. Please let us know if we have any questions or concerns. Which I promptly responded, I do not agree that I have ever received extraordinary service... Which they still have not responded. They are a large corporation and they only care about commissions and they'll ghost you if they don't want to deal with you.

I visited this dealership this week, it was the worst car-buying experience of my entire life. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by a salesman who appeared more interested in meeting his daily impoliteness quota than in actually helping customers. He responded to my questions in a manner that made me feel like I was bothering him by being there. I tried to ignore his initial rudeness and proceeded to ask some questions about the cars on the lot. Not only did this salesman seem completely disinterested in providing any details, but he also rolled his eyes and scoffed at my questions. It was as if I was wasting his precious time (considering I booked an appointment and I didn't just walk in!). I tried to explain what I was looking for and my budget, but he couldn't be bothered to listen. He barely offered any information about the car's features or performance, and when I asked questions, he answered with short answers. Needless to say, I left this dealership feeling frustrated, disrespected, and totally unimpressed. I will never return to this dealership, and I strongly recommend anyone in search of a car to steer clear of this place. It's not worth subjecting yourself to such a rude and unprofessional dealership. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, where they actually value their customers.

About a year ago, I bought a 2016 Crosstrek from Nate Wade Subaru, and I must say that the overall buying experience wasn't the best. However, I did manage to find the car I was looking for. I interacted with Larry, who was a polite individual but had that typical car sales vibe. Then there was the loan officer, Tyler Jones, who seemed to use his physical presence to assert authority. After carefully considering my options, I decided to go with a 2016 Crosstrek, even though it had a minor bumper issue. The car was in great condition and had 77,000 miles on it, with a price tag of $22,000. In hindsight, I didn't negotiate as effectively as I should have. I was quite occupied with work and urgently needed a car, so I only asked for a $2,000 discount, but Larry could only offer $500. I take responsibility for not negotiating more assertively. Before initiating the loan process with Tyler, Larry asked me how much my loan amount would be. Without much thought, I mentioned it was $25,000. The paperwork with Tyler was processed quickly, which I appreciated because I was eager to complete the transaction. However, Tyler did mention having issues with the bank and loan approval, even though I had already been pre-approved. I just wanted to get everything done swiftly. During the paperwork stage, Tyler also tried to sell me additional items like a clear bra, which I knew was on the car already. This made me wonder whether they were unaware of the existing features or were trying to take advantage of the situation. It's worth noting that I was born with a facial deformity, which sometimes leads others to assume I might not be as aware or attentive to details. At my age, I thought I might be overthinking this aspect and failed to trust my instincts. The next day, I reviewed the contracts more carefully and was shocked to discover that they had charged me the full loan amount. Concerned about this discrepancy, I contacted my credit union for assistance. They investigated the matter and advised me to reach out to Nate Wade since something seemed amiss. I tried contacting Nate Wade's HR department and even reached out to the owner but received no response. Subsequently, I decided to have my car serviced at Mark Miller, where the service has been more transparent and trustworthy. My experience with Nate Wade has left me with a strong recommendation to steer clear of them. Additionally, I plan to switch credit unions to ensure I have better support in future transactions. Looking back, I regret not listening to my instincts and advocating for myself more effectively during the car-buying process.

While my car buying experience was great the service center is terrible. Long story short they cut corners, and don't listen or take proper notes which has left me paying thousands of dollar in unnecessary repairs and still having issues which they will then blame on you. Also the managers leave early and are consistently unavailable.

It doesn't matter if your are buying a car or servicing your car. Nate Wade is top tier. When purchasing my car in 2021, sales was very honest with me. I never felt pressured to go through with the purchase. Even with all the supply chain issues, I never felt duped. Now, two years later, my experience has shifted to the service department. They are fast and efficient. Recently, I stripped two lug nuts when switching out my snow tires. I went on a weekday morning and was in and out in about 90 minutes (had an oil change at the same time). Not to mention the all the free drinks and snacks in the waiting room.

I've always heard dealerships were expensive. It was half what the parts store would charge if they carried it.. Friendly people and quick.

Recently bought a vehicle from Nate Wade. I have heard good things is why I decided to go with them. Initially I was happy, but when I got home the tire monitoring sensor came on. I took it in and mentioned the tire sensor was faulty. They said everything was fine. Woke up the next morning and had a flat tire, but the tire monitoring system said I had 30psi. Clearly he didn't look at it. Not very professional at all.

I did not anticipate changing my fluids over for winterization. I realized my error when my windshield fluid froze ..... I arrived at the local Subaru dealership Service Center and there were already 9 vehicles in front of me. They were still able to accommodate me with an exit time of approximately 45 minutes. Wow!!!!!! Specifically Mr. Kenny Lee. THANK YOU !!!!!!! You are a godsend. Please provide this man a sizeable raise. Seriously, his professionalism and candor was above and beyond what is expected. They have an extensive amount of open bays. They expedite everyone and bring a peace of mind when you require service. Their waiting area offers fresh coffee (and not the crappy atuff), carbonated beverages, water, tea & snacks. All completely. If you're considering service on your Subaru, please do yourself a favor and go to Nate's Subaru of Salt Lake City.

This place prioritizes getting your car in and out quickly. Unfortunately, this is not great because they don't care if your problem is addressed. The mechanics get paid per job not per hour. This incentivizes rushing not quality. Go anywhere else and you will likely be better served.
