I would think twice before booking at Millcreek Inn. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the chef makes a good meal, but that is where the positives end.
We had a great experience until the month leading up to our wedding. We originally worked with Keijah who was phenomenal, but she has since left and was replaced by Tina who coordinated our day. She had only worked there for about a month before our wedding, which I believe contributed to all of the problems we had. It would often take multiple emails in order to get a response from her.
Be aware that Millcreek Inn has it in their contract that they can change the price of the food at any time and to any amount, so the amount they quote you could be extremely far off the amount you will actually pay. This happened to us, and we changed one of our options to help out on cost. However, Tina told the chef the incorrect item rather than the one we paid for and didn’t inform us until our wedding day. She then said she did this because she didn’t think we’d like the item we chose because a previous group did not. We needed to ask multiple times in order to get a refund for this item that we did not ask for.
Additionally, they would not allow our guests to have seconds of food despite us having paid for all of it. We paid for the food that was prepared and did not get to eat it all. When our vendors, whose meals I paid for, attempted to get meals, Tina rudely told them that they could not eat until the end because they were “the help.” I also had numerous guests come up to me throughout the night and now after the wedding to tell me how rude and irritable she was to some of my other guests. This is unacceptable for a venue charging as much as Millcreek Inn is. To top it all off, she left our reception early despite being the coordinator of the event.
The management of this place has gone way down hill since we originally booked. The current way things are being run are extremely unprofessional, disorganized, rude, and unacceptable. I would think twice before booking unless you want surprise charges, incorrect food, and the venue staff to be rude to your guests and vendors.

Since the owners have decided not to address our concerns privately and chosen to blatantly ignore their staff, I am now taking this to a public forum. This is a warning to those who are considering Millcreek inn for their special day, you may not get the experience you are hoping for.
This place has gone downhill in the past few months, and almost all of their tenured staff has left due to the poor management of this place.
The owners do not care about anything except raking in their money, and disregard the safety and labor of their employees.
They’re having 14 year olds work at a venue with alcohol because their staff has quit. I won’t even get into all of the other “sus” things that have happened here recently.
This matter could’ve been taken care of privately if the owners had taken our concerns seriously and responded. Hopefully this will force them to care since it’s now affecting their business publicly.

Millcreek Inn exceeded our expectations for our wedding. The entire staff was so helpful, and the food was WONDERFUL. I was a bit worried about the space (we had about 130 people including ourselves and vendors) but it didn't feel cramped at all. The venue coordinator was so helpful, and met with us multiple times to iron out details and reassure us about the day. While it is a bit more logistics to get up to the venue (no service in canyon) we ended up getting a shuttle for wedding guests and it worked out great. This venue feels like you're isolated in the mountains when really you're 15 min from the city - so much more 'us' than some of the other options we looked at. We're so happy we went with Millcreek Inn.

We had an absolutely magical wedding at Millcreek Inn! The venue was beautiful, with a charming, cozy little cabin feel that made our special day feel even more intimate and romantic. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food, which was simply delicious.
The beautiful trees adorned with lights added a special touch, creating a stunning backdrop for our dance floor that everyone loved. Parking was ample, making it convenient for all our guests, and we appreciated that there weren't many stairs to navigate, ensuring everyone could move around comfortably.
The day-of coordinator was a lifesaver, handling all the details and making sure everything ran smoothly. The centerpieces provided for the tables were lovely and added to the enchanting atmosphere.
Overall, Millcreek Inn exceeded our expectations and made our wedding day perfect. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-organized venue!

My husband and I went to tour in October for our wedding and it was a terrible experience. We arrived on time and no one came out to greet us for about twenty minutes. Also, it smelled terrible inside! The smell from the bathrooms was everywhere, the entirety of the venue smelled like an outhouse, and they also had an air freshener or something of some kind that seemed to be like gardenia that mixed with it in a terrible way. The price was very high for what would be a cramped venue. The outside area was beautiful in the mountains, but very small and cramped. We were there when they had the tent up and the tent again, is very small, and its old. It was very dirty and it has small "clear" portions as windows that were dirty and don't show the outside. The food seemed extremely expensive and they did not permit any other options. The woman we spoke with was a little snippy and would get annoyed when we asked follow up questions. Overall we were not impressed and would not recommend anyone from going here for their wedding. If our experience was this negative just during the tour, I can't imagine how it might be on the day of a wedding!

My husband and I recently got married at Millcreek Inn, and WHAT A DREAM! The venue is absolutely stunning, the staff is wonderful to work with, and the day went incredibly smoothly. There were ample staff available day of, they were very attentive and helpful, and we did not have a single moment of stress on our wedding day. Keijah especially was a lovely coordinator, she was very responsive and helpful prior to the event, and she was great day of. The food was absolutely delicious - the chef does an amazing job. Highly, highly recommend getting married here!

Came for a rehearsal dinner and this place is absolutely stunning. Nestled in a small narrow canyon, you're surrounded by beautiful trees and scents once you come.
It can host a smaller wedding/event, but it's so cozy. Beautiful to experience in the daytime, as the sunsets, and as the lights come on as there's lights around the patio and on the trees.
It can be a bit difficult to navigate in the dark -- so be careful! You lose signal when arriving here, so be mindful of that and map the stuff you need before you go into the canyon. You can connect to the wifi once you're here. Ubers can drop you off here, but it may be a bit difficult to call one home... so plan accordingly for driving/rides!
Risotto and vegetables were amazing! Chicken was moist, and the steak was also good. But thought the risotto won for me.

Millcreek Inn was an intensely beautiful spot to have our wedding, but what really made it stand out was its incredible staff. We worked very closely with Keijah Imboden, Event and Service Coordinator at Millcreek, who made our wedding day the best it could possibly be. We booked the venue about a year in advance, and she corresponded with us the entire time, answering our MANY questions through email, phone calls, video calls, and numerous visits to Millcreek. She was so fun to work with and provided not only knowledge and resources, but a genuine care and kindness. She helped us feel taken care of and far less worried about things than we would have been without her. You'll see her in one of the photos helping with my dress as I walked down the aisle! (:
Something I really enjoyed about Millcreek was that they provided a lot of décor, so we didn't need to worry about buying any decorations. The only thing we bought to add to the space were some flowers and signs/pictures we wanted up. They provided everything else including table cloths and napkins, lantern centerpieces, several cute signs, easels for the signs we brought, and the most incredible outdoor fairy lights! It was such a relief to have that all provided to us, as well as set up and cleaned up by Millcreek's staff.
Another huge plus for this venue is the amazing food! It's been six months since we got married there (October 2023) and our wedding guests are still raving about the food! Several people told me it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and though I may be biased, I have to agree with them. You often get told that as the bride, you don't actually get to eat on your wedding day, but I had a great bridesquad who made sure I ate dinner and it was truly wonderful. The open bar was also pretty fantastic. ;)
We highly recommend Millcreek Inn for its stunning views, gorgeous building, super fun dance floor, delicious food (not to mention all of the different menu and bar options), excellent staff, and its affordable price. We looked at a couple other outdoor venues in SLC, and Millcreek was the best price by far and still offered everything the other venues did. This was truly a wonderful experience and we couldn't be happier that we got married at Millcreek Inn!
