The food was excellent, the owner helped us understand the menu, we got to try everything on the menu, and definitely worth coming back to. It was exactly what we were hoping for from a Russian Deli that is sharing their family recipes.

Good selection of foods! Delicious borscht and management is very helpful in finding what you need. Have been coming here for years and will continue to support this small business.

I grew up eating homemade Russian food. I have eaten here before and enjoyed it, but was very disappointed during my recent visit. The stuffed cabbage rolls are small and contain 95% rice, with very little meat. Just not how they are supposed to be. The borscht was mostly broth with only some cabbage and onions floating around. I bought a quart and the whole thing had maybe 2 small pieces of potato. Very poor quality. Sad to say, it has really declined. The borscht I grew up with was hearty with many vegetables surrounded by broth. Very disappointing. This used to be my place for a good Russian food fix but no more.

Super nice guy running things, attentive and friendly. Turns out Ukranian food is delicious, I highly recommend the Borscht. Pro tip, get some Halva from the shop. It's a lot like Nutella, but better. ?

I've been coming here a few times over the last year and I've always enjoyed what Luybochka had on its menu. The borscht is always a must get for me. The deli sandwiches and potato salad also taste very fresh the several times i ordered it. The owner has been nice and friendly and he offers a variety of things to buy through his little shop as well. Overall a nice experience

Paquita & I went to the Russian Cafe, Luybochka, tonight. It is a small place, very clean/neat, it is a combo Deli / Cafe. It offers a decent selection of items from Russia, (and a few from Georgia / Germany.)The food is plain, very meat & potatoes type, with no frills, (not drowned in gravy.) Everything is served on paper plates. He makes everything, so he runs out of things sometimes.I wanted to order one of Everything off the small menu, but he was out of the Russian Potato Salad and the Blintzes with Farmer's Cheese. The service was quick, and the food hot.Paquita really liked the Borscht and the Blintzes with meat.I liked everything, it was not spicy, very plain, maybe add a little something to it if you want extra flavor. The Deli is open if you want to buy extras- Drinks,(Kvass!,) cookies, and Desserts.THICK - HEAVY BLACK BREAD! ?There is a Georgian Plum Sauce that I bought that is quite tasty, I suggest buy a bottle from the Deli and use with the meal.We went back the next weekend with our friends, 13 total, we had a great time!

I've never had Russian food before and decided to give this place a shot. I went with my family and the prices are so reasonable to tried a few of each menu item. The food was delicious and the owner was extremely patient and kind. This was a fantastic first experience for someone curious about Russian food. I will definitely be returning soon!

My family loves Luybochka. Great sandwiches, treats, drinks and hospitality. Headed there for lunch today. The cookie department is my niche for treats! Moldovan family owned and run...lovely cafe. Great hospitality. A cozy, special deli.

Went here with my Tajik sister in law. It's small, but she found lots of familiar goodies for her family.

Wonderful little shop with comforting meals, a great array of Russian goods and a very friendly owner. I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. The borscht was 5 stars and I can’t wait to go back for more. Thank you!
