I actually prefer Lowe's over Home Depot but the reason behind the two stars is the lack of service. 50,000+ square ft of store and 1 register . . IF . . . And I do mean IF . . YOU . . . ARE . . . . LUCKY. Don't worry, most likely your not in that category. Your prob in the unlucky category with us , the rest of the schmucks who have to single handily awkwardly check out by ourself as we CLEARLY struggle to scan our 50 items of crap while "employee" stands and watches you struggle but doesn't say a thing or even pretend to give one flying iota of a look like " well that looks tough , maybe I should assist". I would wish I could say that's a rarity but unfortunately that's what the new norm is. Charge you more and cause we are saving a buck on employees , why don't you check yourself out. Seriously the self checkout being the norm is Crap. I'd rather give my business to a small mom and pop shop than shop at the all mighty dollar Lowes. #bye

Helpful staff and it's not insanely busy like Home Depot. Great place to do business.

Better than Home Depot but that isn't saying much. No place to lock up a bike so I locked it up to the wheelbarrow rack. When checking out the cashier was talking to a coworker which is fine but the guy she was talking to saw me waiting there the whole time and said nothing. It is a clean store and well organized and they usually have what I'm looking for.

I don’t know why but these guys expected me to install my own lightbulb. Worst Lowe’s I’ve been to.

I counted 10 employees make eye contact with me and not greet me or ask if I need help. I walked around this poor customer service Lowes for about 30 min and not a single employee offered to help. I finally decided that I would have to be the one to ask for help since it seems like everyone is scared to talk to a female here. When I finally did find an employee..I had to basically yell "excuse me?" 3 times as he continued to walk away from me. Go figure the guy I asked for help, didn't know Jack shit! He had me walk around all these isle just to tell me "idk honestly". I decided to just leave and on the way out, I'm pretty sure it was the manager (female not wearing a vest, wearing a white sweater with keys wrapped around her arms) just looked at me and didn't say anything as well. So I guess 10 employees plus the store manager all need to take some training on CUSTOMER SERVICE. I won't be coming back here. I'll do the extra 10 min drive to Home Depot from now on.

Just had THE BEST customer service experience at this LOWES. We purchased a floor model electric fireplace. We got a discount on it because its the floor model. Ann helped us for SO long making sure we got all the parts for it! Plus the store was quiet and not busy

I ordered online and I live on Tooele, I drove down there to pick up and it wasn't ready, i waited 20 mins and kept telling me someone is getting it for me, I literally went to grab it myself and brought it to the counter and still "my order" wasn't pulled yet, I special order some gates and I got notification it was ready, sat there for over 30 mins so they could tell me they couldn't find it. Horrible experience

First of all I work there. I work in the garden. It's the best job ever. People are really nice and from what I seen they don't judge you. They except you as you are. They are willing to help. If I don't know something I will find someone who can help you. It's a great place to work and to shop.

I went in looking for something specific, but didn't know exactly what it would be. I asked Teena and a light went off in her head and she found a rather unconventional but perfect solution. kudos to her!

I tried exchanging a sparkplug socket that had the rubber inside come loose, so it no longer worked well for removing sparkplugs. The lady at the return/exchange counter asked if i had bought it at that specific store (which i bought it at another lowes), and that that i needed my receipt (for a socket that i had bought over ten years ago, ofcourse im not going to have the receipt anymore), and that i needed to bring in the whole socket set this socket belonged to before she could consider exchanging it, and to top it off she said she would only be able to exchange the whole set and not just the socket that was bad. They don't even carry this socket set anymore. If they cant find an identical socket set am i just out of luck? She asked like 10 dumb questions and never even helped me replace it. I just ended up going to another lowes where they helped me immediately with no issues, no questions asked. Just stay away from lowes at 1335 s 300 w if you need to talk to customer service.

Store closed at 10pm, I was sitting in my car at 10:10, and a tow truck pulled up behind me and started getting ready to tow my car...with me in it. There were empty cars all around me, yet the trashy tow truck driver decided my car needed to go. When I got out and asked what he was doing he said, "Stores closed, you can't park here." I told him I would leave right then, and he made me wait while he checked too see if people were in the other cars before he moved his truck. I'm so annoyed with the towing company that Lowe's hired to tow people right at closing time, I will never come to this location again. Predatory towing companies are the worst, and Lowe's is just as bad for hiring them!

On June 23, 2021 I ordered a new door for my bathroom. I was told it would take about 40 days for it to come in. So I waited and waited and waited. I finally went to the store on Saturday, August 14 and my door was in. Dan the sales associate was great, he saw that there was a few scuffs on the door like somebody had smeared some black stuff on it and he gave me a discount. I had pulled my car in the front loading zone and took the door out to load it in. Upon further inspection I saw that there was a damage to the door on the side and the corner where the wood had been damaged. Since I was going to stain the door and not paint it I could not cover it up. So I close the hatch on my car and I went back into the store to return the door. When I came back out to my car which was still in the loading zone, central valley towing was in the process of towing my car. I tried to explain to the rude young man that I was I was doing. But he was having none of it. Another customer who was saw me return the door tried to help, I called the store and the assistant manager came out and told central valley towing that they're not supposed to tow cars till after 11 PM he finally removed his equipment from my car. I have shopped at this Lowe's since the day they opened, and has always been satisfied, but this last year they really have gone down hill. I get the whole Covid thing but how long are we going to use that as an excuse for bad customer service. The fact that they sat on my door for a month and no one bothered to call me and tell me it was in, upset me but I was just going to deal with that, and then they have a contract with a towing company to tow cars at will. This puts a really sour taste in my mouth, and I'll have to think long and hard before I ever shop at that Lowe's again.

The ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever received. Won't be going to this location ever again. I ordered a plant from online for pick up in store. Got the email it was ready for pick up. Went to pick it up and ended up waiting around/not being acknowledged as they tried to locate the plant. At the end of all the waiting all I got was a "we can't find it." No apology or further explanation and the customer service guy was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE.

Terrible customer service three different people didn't know how to access my credit card since I didn't have it with me. All the manager would do was say "people make mistakes " ok but three of three people. Your employees need training. It can be done. I won't be going to Lowe's again Home Depot ! Home Depot ! Home Depot!!
