Went to the storefront in Murray. The folks were so knowledgeable and helpful. Tyler, Shawn and Dallon were exceptional - haven’t experienced customer service like this for awhile, as they took extra time and care with a shoe fitting for my mom. They are amazing!

Kuru is easily the best place to get quality shoes that can help ease foot pain. Wonderful sweet employees and truly the most quality walking/hiking shoes you'll ever have. My first pair lasted me nearly ten years, 3 countries and thousands of miles. Worth every dollar

Walked into a shoe store today. I don't blame the person. I would have sold them to get some money too

They gave a $6.00 refund for the FedEx label. I could not get my foot into the shoes. I call and complain to the lady that was help me. But when they got my shoes back they charged me $12.00. should have $1850.50 for my order minus $6.00 for the return label for a total of $179.50. But to justified them self the charged me for $6.00 refund they gave and I only got $173.50. they told me I add the $6.00 refund to my $173.50 I would have $179.50. But no one their could tell me where was my $6.00 refund if you charged me back

So...based on the recommendation by my foot ortho surgeon, I ordered a pair of Kurus, specifically the "Atom" shoes which Kuru highlights as an athletic shoe. The shoes are comfy enough, they help with my plantar fasciitis when I wear them around the house and for general walking etc. But when I tried to play pickleball with them, my feet slid sideways in them over and (over again. I thought for sure I would roll my ankle and wind up on crutches. The Kurt site actually shoes a photo of the Atom shoes on a person playing pickleball! But no way are they appropriate! I showed them to my foot surgeon and she was aghast that they market the Atom shoe as an athletic shoe. She said they do not provide enough lateral support. Don't believe Kuru marketing. PS I tried to email them and call them 3 times, and they are always "closed for training". Huh? I think the shop is one person with a cell phone.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I have been researching shoes for quite some time because I have extreme pain due to a corn on the bottom of my foot. I'm on month FOUR waiting to see the Podiatrist. I decided to buy Kuru sandels that were marked down from $100 to $50. They had rave reviews, mostly 5 stars. I truly believe that the reviews are fake. I can't imagine how anyone would be happy with the Kuru sandels. When I received them I couldn't believe how incredibly uncomfortable they are. They're not soft AT ALL. I can't return or exchange them because they were on sale. I am a 61 year old woman who spends up to $200 on phenomenal exercise shoes. I cannot stress enough to NOT purchase Kuru shoes unless you can try them on first. VERY DISAPPOINTING to say the least!

On November 20th, 2023, my spouse and I placed an order for house shoes through KURU Footwear's official website. Our decision was influenced by the footwear's orthopedic features and the prominently advertised 45-day refund policy. Despite being aware of the size difference, we followed the site's recommendation to order a shoe size half an inch larger than usual and opted for size 11 1/2. Regrettably, upon receiving the package, we discovered the shoes were considerably smaller, akin to a size 9 1/2 by U.S. sizing standards. Notably, these shoes adhere to a sizing standard different from what consumers in the U.S. typically encounter, which contributed to the discrepancy in fit. Efforts to facilitate an exchange via the website were unsuccessful. Subsequently, I contacted the company via phone and spoke with Anna, who, to our disappointment, stated that the purchased shoes did not qualify for an exchange or refund. This contradicted the explicit representation on their website guaranteeing a 45-day refund or exchange. Our experience with this process was disheartening. We feel disillusioned by the receipt of substandard merchandise from China at a premium cost, compounded by the company's refusal to honor their advertised refund and exchange policy. It's concerning that a Utah-based company would mislead numerous consumers in a similar manner. This observation is echoed in various critical reviews on platforms like Yelp and Trustpilot, indicating a recurring pattern of the company's failure to uphold promised product assurances. Regrettably, given the company's failure to uphold their product guarantee, I've resorted to taking necessary action. I've initiated a chargeback process through my bank, seeking recourse for the purchase. Furthermore, I've lodged a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, citing the company's deceptive and fraudulent trade practices. This step is taken with the hope of addressing not only my own situation but also contributing to the awareness of such practices affecting other consumers. Update 12/06: Filed an additional complaint with the Alaska Department of Law, Consumer Protection Unit. Update 12/06: Filed an additional complaint with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection. Update 12/07: The Utah Division of Consumer Protection has assigned an Investigator to oversee this case. The Investigator, who reached out to me this morning, provided a detailed account of their efforts to purchase the same shoes. They verified that the refusal to issue a refund contradicts the entire ordering process observed firsthand by the Investigator. Attached is the case confirmation email with personal information redacted.

I had a concern with a shipment of my order. The customer service rep-Brae-was courteous and helpful. She followed up with the warehouse and got back to me quickly with a positive outcome. This is my second pair of Kurus-they've helped my heel pain a lot.

I buy Kuru shoes I really like the support in their tennis/gym shoes which really help with many foot problems. They are pricey but worth it. I recently ordered a pair of closed shies which were highly rated. I failed to see that they were a final purchase now that the company is changing their return policy. However, I called them direct and Maquel was able to honor my return. I will continue to order shoes if they maintain a return or exchange policy because I feel I have found my forever shoes for this senior citizen! I will have a backup pair to exchange if exchanges continue to be honored and I do hope my favorite styles will continue to be available. I rotate among 4 styles of sneakers and boots which are winners for me. Thank you, Maquel!

Beautiful shoes and comfortable, but I had misjudged my size. Unfortunately I injured my ankle (from another cause), and couldn't wear them for some time in the future. Brae, my customer rep, offered a return, but I had already donated them to a women's shelter (I had already worn them outside a couple of times before the accident) so I couldn't accept it. But if my ankle heals up, I'll definitely be thinking about another pair next spring in the next larger size!

Maquel was exceedingly helpful in aiding me decide which shoe, which features, and which size I ought to select to meet my needs. She helped educate me related to the physical ills I am trying to address. The cost of the shoe and the return policy are quite reasonable.

Ordered a pair of shoes from Kuru, and received an order confirmation online thru email. Never received any word that the shoes had been shipped or any kind of date of arrival. So after two weeks of hearing nothing, when I called the company and gave them the order number, they told me that my card was charged a $6 shipping cost, but that the shoes were not on the order!!!!!!Figuring it was some weird snafu, I asked them whether they would take my order manually via a sales rep, and when I said I would like to place an actual order, the guy from India didn't even offer to correct the order and put the order in.Instead he asked immediately for my credit card, not which shoes I wanted to order, and I told him I felt like I was being scammed. It makes me wonder if it's even a real company?Yikes, buyer beware. It's like they didn't even want my business or to correct the problem for me...What kind of business is that?
