You walk in and you smell cigarettes and the only reson they get 4 stars is because the employee's were very friendly and i would go back

I bought headphones Monday, brought them back today (Friday) had the original box, contents and receipt. I was told they "do not return electronics". There was nothing on the receipt stating that, nothing on or in the box stating it, no signage anywhere, AND the manager whom sold them to me, did not tell me they were a non-refundable product days prior. However, she decided to raise her voice and insist "it's store policy" and then find a very small piece of paper, no bigger than a post-it note, in the back of the store and that read "no electronic returns"... which would have been understanding if that piece of paper was anywhere in actual customer site..... She did decide to refund me for the headphones, but made comments about me "needing the money", and how the store "does not need the money and that the headphones would just go to the trash". Im sure that's good information to someone.....

I've been going to this store for three years. The manager is amazing. The employees are extremely efficient. Addie made my whole day. Extremely nice, and is a people person. Goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are well taken care of you. Love all the employees there.

This is one of the cleanest family dollars I’ve seen. The store looks well maintained each time I come in and the employees are always happy to help. Addie has helped me several times and is always courteous and fast at the register. I’ve seen multiple employees come back inside the store on their personal breaks to help the customers at the counter so they don’t have to wait for long.Although you can never please everyone, I do personally think this family dollar has the nicest/most friendly staff!

I went to do an observation and review on the store. There were a few concerns that raised a few red flags.1) there’s usually 2-3 employees running the store. But it feels like 1 employee is running it by himself that’s Richard. The other two employees are pretty ghost.One employee is literally out his mind and always doing weird things…The other employee who’s the one who attended me is out smoking her life away 90% of the time. On top of that you can tell she hates her job, hates helping customers and hates problem solving little things.FOR EXAMPLE: I bought a few items and one of the items wasn’t matching with my coupon. So I went and grabbed a different item. I asked her to remove the wipes and and add the new ones and she took a BIG sigh as if it was sooo difficult to remove the old item and scan the new one. THE WORST PART OF ADIE ( the white blonde haired older female ) is that she came in to the store when she seen a line of 6-7 people and STUNK UP THE ENTIRE STORE LIKE CIGARETTES!!! SHE STUNK LIKE CIGARETTES SO BAD THAT 4-5 people walked out of line and left!! I had to tough it out. But her smell was very unpleasant! I cannot believe a store like this would be willing to hire someone like this.Not only does she smell like cigarettes, she smokes on company time, she gives customer’s attitude and makes us feel uncomfortable, she also lacks knowledge.I cannot believe someone actually seen something in her. If I was the CEO I would not have people like this represent my store. Even if it is a family dollar, mc Donald’s. Or any hole in a wall store. You can change the culture and stigma. But not with these crackheads.GOOD LUCK YALL! Keep paying people like this to smoke on your time

Store hours says open on line. Got here and sign on the door says temporary closed for truck. No time on when it will be open.
