I've visited Decades a handful of times and just love their items and the décor. I love showing this spot to my friends because they have such unique and beautiful items. However, every time I come in, it's such an uncomfortable experience. I always come out of Decades feeling like I may have said or done something wrong. Usually, it's not so bad, but my most recent visit took the cake. The staff here are incredibly unwelcoming to the point where it's like they'd rather go bankrupt than interact with customers. They also blatantly follow people. I've worked in retail so I get it... and I imagine it's all the more necessary to prevent shoplifting as a small business, but it's seriously excessive and so weird lmfao. Probably won't be back and that's a shame.

Pretty cool looking spot but I feel like it’s just another over hyped vintage store. The owner followed us most the time and I felt weird touching anything but I mean for those who really intensely love vintage and are willing to shell out for it it’d be cool. Honestly though I didn’t feel like they wanted us to be there. Maybe they just don’t care for the customers that don’t look like they are gonna spend $1000 there. Can’t say I’ll be going back.

Great and fun selection, but staff made the atmosphere so uncomfortable! Same experience as all the other low star reviews. Staff watching like hawks. My friend asked to see some earrings, the employee acknowledged her, responded “hold on” and looked like he was walking away to go get keys? After that he never acknowledged her again even though he paced past her back and forth… she had to ask again and he finally helped… very strange experience…

My child decided to attend a school dance with 24 hours notice, I just knew Decades would have exactly what we needed for a fun outfit with personality. We found the perfect clothes and had a great time shopping. Their selection is amazing and really high quality.

I am editing my previous review at this time.I had a handful of positive experiences with this store with selling a handful of items before and a bit after covid.I made the mistake of bringing my boyfriend to the store once, and we were IMMEDIATELY tailed by staff. There is no feeling of trust in this store, and you are outright discouraged to try or handle items. As a true lover of antiques, especially antique clothing, I understand wanting to keep antique items in tact. But you are also a store. That sells things. I'd recommend having more faith in your customers, especially if they are buying items from you. My partner and I tried to have a private discussion in an area away from merch as he felt very uncomfortable being followed constantly, and the employee kept walking uncomfortably close to us, glowering the entire way.I wouldn't recommend this store at this particular time, at least until there's a serious change in attitude and a newfound appreciation for customer service.

I went for the first time in years after a bad experience, and brought a friend. Unfortunately my experience was the same this time as last time. When we asked for her to try on a dress, he looked at her and asked if she really thought she'd fit into it. She ended up deciding against trying and he just quickly took the dress away from her. Absolutely rude. Last time I'd gone years ago, the same thing happened, and an employee told me he didn't think I would fit a dress so I shouldn't bother trying it on even though my measurements matched. Will have to find a better vintage shop, because being looked over by judgmental men feels disgusting.

I came in while my car was getting an oil change nearby and was immediately captivated by the huge selection they had. I was interested in several things but the guys that worked here are extremely judgmental and cold. None of them seemed interested in helping me, none of them responded to my "please" and "thank you", and one of them seemed to follow me around the store as if he was either judging me or making sure I wasn't stealing anything. I even felt nervous to tell them I didn't want something after asking to see it, because it felt like I was wasting their time.
