Wonderful store. Imagine nostalgia of an earlier time, where quality mattered and service was exceptional, where people smiled like they meant it, sheleves are full and lines are small... meet Dan's in Cottonwood Heights. Great food, great service. Keep it up!!

Dan's market at Ft Union and Highland features a large outdoor smoker where Pit Boss Jen K and the deli crew smoke an array of pork, beef and chicken that you can get hot from the smoker or chilled in the fridge display near the deli counter. Smoked meat elite step aside for Dan's deli team whose brisket is Texas Rudi's or Iron Works meat candy good.

over priced! Limited selection! And their hours aren't real. The door says 11 o'clock but they lock them about 10 minutes before and won't let you in Even for last minute run in for milk. And are super rude!!! Jerks! Go somewhere else. Not worth it!! if you are unfortunate enough to be coming in from out of town, with hungry kids, at looking for milk at 11 o' clock at night, there's a 7-Eleven a block north with really nice employees! If you can wait till morning, target is a couple blocks to the west.

It's a middle of the road store for me. Shelves were well stocked and a decent variety. A bit disappointed in their in house bakery, I was expecting more. If you shop the sales, you'll do alright here. Most items are more expensive than other retailers in the area. Staff was ok, not overly friendly. The store was clean.

I grew up with a Dan's by my house and loved it. I enjoy the Dan's near us now. It's always clean and the remodel looks great. I wish they'd use both sides of the buildings doors but other than that it's been a pleasure to shop there. Their meat is a great price and the food quality is great. Thanks

I actually live behind Dans. One block away from this store and I avoid this store at all costs. Every time I go for an emergency it just gives me another reason of why I try to stay away. Purchased two pounds of Boars Head Pepperoni for homemade pizzas and the Deli clerk was too lazy to peal off the coating before slicing so every piece and bite you took had plastic film in it. UGG!!!! gross and a waste of $11 per pound! Store locked it's south entrance doors because of covid. They have yet to reopen so the north side is a mess to try and park. Cars are going everywhere let alone the Java Joes two lanes of cars in the parking lot as well. Was in a huge hurry yesterday so tried to run in for their Friday chicken special in the Deli. There was a girl with long blonde hair mopping the deli floor and she just glanced up at me every few minutes and offered ZERO help. finally left and went across the street. They also closed their meat department so all you can do is buy meat already packaged as their is no longer a person to great you to pick out your steaks or other meats. You are on your own in this store! No one is there to assist you in any way! This store tries so hard to not have to work or have any interaction from their customers. Very rarely you will find more than 1 or 2 checkout lanes open. You have to generally Waite in line at the self checkout. Sucks I live a block away but have found the drive to Harmons or Smith's is so much worth the time and drive.

Mary, (one of the pharmacists,) showed such professionalism and kindness with her service. My daughter worked with her and was so impressed with her skills. I, as a patient, was grateful for her obvious concern for those she assisted. It is great to see someone who is tremendous to work for and who gives wonderful care! Thanks Mary!

I had a prescription transferred there since my normal pharmacy didn't have any of my medication in stock. The people were friendly, understood the situation and my prescription was filled promptly. They even asked about another thing I might need to go with it, and I bought it too.

When I first relocated to Cottonwood Heights area (or my loving nickname of CoHe, which isn't catching on as fast as I'd like), I was told that Dan's was THE PLACE to shop and that I will NEVER want for another grocery store EVER AGAIN. And as a grocery shopping fan, I was excited. My interest was more than piqued. It was tripled piqued. Quadruple even. Imagine my disappointment when I walked into what seems to be an Albertson's that has been renamed. The quality and prices of this store are not comparable to those in the area. As an associated foods store, I expect a certain level, but not too much. Even my lowest standards were not easily met. That's not to say this is a horrible store. No, I'll come here if needed, or it's what I'm closest to in a pinch. But I'd much rather drive a few miles down to another store that I know will be more reasonable in price and quality. I have not interacted much with customer service, as I usually use self check and have had minimal issues there. Store is always reasonably clean as well. Atmospherically, there is really not much wrong with this store, it's the price and quality of items that is lacking. I will pay much less for better quality at other comparable stores.

My family and I have been customers at this pharmacy for over 20 years and tonight they have lost our business indefinitely. Over the past few years the pharmacy has obtained many people who have been short and rude whenever I pick up a prescription. Tonight I was told that a prescription I ordered 7 days ago was not filled and when I asked why I didn't get a notification, I was told “Well we have 300 people at this pharmacy and you want a phone call?†I've always received a phone call at this location when there was an issue. I was then told I should have known that the particular doctor who gave the prescription wouldn't fax prescriptions. Since this was the first time using this doctor, how would I have known that? One pharmacist in particular always blurts out my prescriptions when I'm picking them up and the entire line behind me hears. He even asked my mom why she needed a particular prescription. That is personal information. This location is unprofessional, curt, and demeaning. My family and I will be taking our business to a more professional and pleasant pharmacy.

Little higher on prices but their bakery has some amazing items. Check out the peanut butter bars!
