Nothing I have bought from Crate and Barrel has lasted more than a year. I bought a white, canvas laundry bag and the handle immediately separated from the body the first time I hoisted it up. An expensive linen duvet cover has lost nearly all the buttons because of cheap, crappy thread, one of them even shattered on contact with the floor one day when putting the duvet on the bed. Not even a year after buying higher end pillowcases one of them ripped a huge hole after wearing down rapidly in the wash. I bought a spatula with a wood handle and a silicon top and after about six months of excellent care it's gone wobbly and is about to separate. A really nice looking serving spoon with copper coated handle and white silicon top deteriorated in a matter of months with the entire copper coating peeling off even though I took care to wash it by hand and never put it in the dishwasher (even though directions say it can be put in the dishwasher). DO NOT BUY from C&B, their products are only made to look nice and you will be replacing them very soon after.

This is the weirdest process! I go to pick up my night stands and they were closed. Never told me a time. They close at 3pm. I call them and they say Crate and Barrel will call to set a new pick
Up date…they never called and I call 4 days later and they said they shipped my nightstands back to California (I’m in Utah).

We have picked up 3 separate orders and every time the front desk girl is awful. Not friendly or helpful. The warehouse guys are awesome though. I recommend picking up your order and save money on the delivery, but beware they do not have good customer service. If you call to schedule your pickup date, you will end up talking to someone in a different state and then when you show up to the warehouse they will tell you something different. I agree with the other reviewers that scheduling the pickup is confusing.

Worst customer service we have ever experienced. Have had 4 pick up dates scheduled (and of course they only give you options about 2 weeks out that are all on weekdays between 8 and 3:30). We ordered 4 chairs and over the 4 pick up date options, we only received 1 of them. They don’t tell you why they don’t have things or when they will come in. Do not order from Crate and Barrel. You will never receive your items.

If you order from crate and barrel, I recommend doing pick up. Saves some money and based off the reviews saves time and hassle. The only issue I had with pick up is I got a call to schedule an hour window to pick up my desk. When I called back, a different lady from the person who left a voicemail told me they don’t deal with crate and barrel and I had to contact them directly to sort out scheduling. She wasn’t the nicest about it either. So I was worried after seeing the reviews and after that phone call that I wouldn’t be able to pick it up.
The warehouse was easy to find, they had a little crate and barrel sign. we pulled to the side of the building and checked in. I wish I got the names of the staff that helped us cause they were great. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and checked us in fast. We waited at the garage for a little and the guy loaded up my desk into our truck. Very friendly guy and fast. We had a nice little conversation, signed off on the pick up, and were on our way. Anyway this is a long review to say I really suggest doing pick up rather than delivery based on the reviews.

Worst delivery company with the laziest drivers.Driver came earlier than scheduled time and stated he knocked on my door and rang my doorbell multiple times and nobody answered.My motion detector cameras didn’t detect anything, neither did my dog and my Alexa normally notifies me which she didn’t. They showed me a picture “proof” that he came to my house. The picture was taken from the sidewalk a flight of stairs below my door and off to the side.The customer service rep said if I can show proof they didn’t knock on my door they would have the driver turn around. I showed them proof via my doorbell camera notifications and they still refused to have their driver come back.Now I have to wait a week to reschedule for an item I’ve been waiting 2 months forThe customer service reps also hung up on me multiple times. I called crate and barrel and asked them to never deliver my items with this company again.I live in a four story townhome so I figure the driver didn’t want to deal with it.I hope they lose their partnership with crate and barrel. I pay too much for these items to have them delivered by people who don’t even care about their customers

If you can avoid using this company then do it! We ordered a couch off Pottery Barn and this is the company that’s delivering the couch. They told us that the couch was going to be delivered between 2pm and 4 PM we were at the grocery store at 1:30 and they called us and told us that they were at the house and we’re willing to wait until 2:15 PM. we drove home as fast as we could and got to our house at 2 PM. Nobody was there at our house at that time. We called the company and talk to somebody who contacted the driver, the driver said that he was unwilling to turn around to drop the couch off. I even offered to pay the driver more money. They still wouldn’t turn around. I then ask if I could come down to the warehouse and pick up the couch. They then tell me that the couch is going to be left in the truck for the next couple days. So now we have to wait another week to get our couch delivered. I never write reviews but this company needed one because of how unprofessional they are.

2nd time here / same problem they don’t care about appointment and waiting time can be one day or two day I have to wait 40 hours to get dock and when i get dock they take 6 to 10 hours for unloading / very very very bad place for truckers please stay away
